Korean BBQ lunch for today. Oh boy, how often do I eat Korean? Three times a week? Hmmm.

New black leather belt to the Skagen watch. I was told that it was needed overhaul... seems that glass is frosted inside... somewhat water (sweat?) got inside. Hmmm. It's 8 years old or even older... No wonder why.

Should I send this watch for overhaul? Should I buy new? Overhaul even cots around 100 bucks or so, I think.
Hmmm, lots to think then.

Look at this! I found that one of my watches... already worn out! Leather belt is needed to be replaced.



Meaning, I have to expect extra bucks to spend on this... totally not on my list for spending. This kind of stuff... totally unexpected and out of my control! I need to scream for help!!!

Black watch with black belt... simply replace with another black leather belt? Any alternative color? Let me think... Hmm.

Anyway, serious consideration for budget.

Somehow, I feel fatigue. Since last night, I felt funny... and it was obvious during the day today!
I stayed in the bed for almost whole afternoon.
At night, I finally gained some energy... finished the laundry.

I have to make tonight early... to be ready for new week.

Since no plans for the day, it was good rest. I guess, this was just what I needed.
Yesterday, I was okay... until late night. Hmmm.

Well, it's quiet day here...

This was my lunch today... It was pretty big meal for me. Yeah, THE MEAL for the day.



Was at the restaurant called Hibiki. 2nd visit to that place, I think.
Other than this big meal... no special thing happened today. Very normal.

Finally, received the result. What result? Am I going to another education? (BANG)
Hey, no more education, okay! I had enough.

Result was from the other day's health check.

Result... I got all A... Somehow, I am straight-A student (patient?). I had never been like that in any given education in my entire life!!! Wow, what a surprise!

Anyway, it means that I am super duper healthy. That's good.
Hehehe.

Who said that I am fat... need to go on diet?
Well, I want to lose a bit more weight for sure. So I am not considered fat... but I would like to be more slim...

From last year, I lost only 1 kg. To the average weight, another 3 kg to go. Hmmm. That's tough. Really tough.
Let me keep working on it.

I hadn't been to that restaurant until today. My 1st visit to Italian restaurant called "Da Noi."
Seems pretty famous. Have no clue, though.
People around me said so. Let's believe that.

Game? Japan vs. Cuba... the world's bast ball team... right? Better than Americans!



Japan Team is consisted from full of pros. Still, we lost the 1st game. 2-4. Hmmm.
Well, let's cut it out and face tomorrow's game!

Yes, no doubt that I will support Team Japan before TV tomorrow night.

About time to think about next step in my career? Already? Sickened and tired of everything?
Not so fast. It is ALWAYS wise to think of next agenda in your life... isn't it? I at least think that way.

Wait. Am I on the edge in current consulting firm? No place for me in there? Hmmm. Interesting discussion might be.
Anyhow, here are the choices:

Probably my choice is going to be in that order.

Well, new week... this Monday turned out to be flat. Busy? Somewhat. Gathered information... wrote summary... and attended several conference calls.
Oh, I'd better spend more time on project member to brush up deliverables. Yeah, seriously. Time is always critical... I should be too busy on my own... should pay more attention to others. This is tough to do!!!

New movie... checked ouy. Turned out to be long one. Good but very (?) sophisticated.
Which one am I talking about? Yeah, its the Dark Knight.



2 hours and a half movie was really entertainment.
How did you interpret the story for understanding?
Hero cannot be the hero for the City because the timing isn't right? Hmmm. Tough to understand.
Old Batman story was much more simple, wasn't it?!

Because of long story, I was hungry when the movie was over...



This bowl of noodle wasn't only the meal for the day; however, this becames the main one. Hahaha.
Surely, this is famous "Ichiran" noodle. Thin noodles. Liked this bowl.

Started watching high school baseball game in the national television. Yeah, good game took place in the early morning.
How early? It was 8:30am... early enough for me!

It was very good game and I was quite impressed with today's high school baseball. Better than one that I really used to play.

Olympic games.
Oh boy... the way to the Gold Medal doesn't seems to be flat for Team Japan.
Big hope - Tamura for -48kg Women in Judo... missed 1st Gold Medal. Instead, Blonde. Hmmm.

It is the annual health check-up. Mandatory by law. Means I have no choice to show my beer belly to the doctor! Hahaha.

My biggest concern over this check-up is

not bad vision
not height (I cannot grow any longer!)
not weight (really? Should be the 1st concern, right?)
not stomach (dysfunction)

but WHAT?

Hmmm.

It's Metabolic Syndrome... yeah, "obesity," simply.

If I qualified to be "fat guy," I have to see the doctor frequently. It's by law. Hmmm. What kind of penalty ahead? Money? Work-out? What else...

Somehow, government of Japan is concern over people's health... not own fiscal health. Hmmm.

New cafe called "La Duree" is my visit in this morning.
This place is famous for macaron sweets. Do you know those? Hmmm.
It's French sweets... if you don't know, just google it.

Had sort breakfast in that cafe located in Ginza Mitsukoshi department store.
Tons of "fans waiting for their turns... LONG LINE from such early morning. Hmmm.

Why in the world was I there then? Call me crazy.









In addition to macaron shown in above picture (chocolate / raspberry), ate French toast!!! It was pretty good.
Yes, I am big fan of French toast... most of my breakfast at Thunderbird while in business school were of that dish!!!

Surely, this breakfast in "La Duree" became pretty darn expensive.

Easy food... quick food for me. Ramen noodle is always my favorite.
Now (nowadays), "tsukemen" noodle... cold noodle to dip in to the soup... is my favorite.



Today's choice isn't of my usual place. Happened to be not so.
Well, this wasn't that bad... though, I still prefer usual place's noodle.

It was Fireworks Festival in this area... tonight. Too bad that view from my apartment... not good to see any of fireworks.

Hi, folks. Already weekend, huh! How was your week? For me, I think it was quite quick... didn't expect to come to 1st weekend in August this quick. You know what I mean?

Gathering among T-birds... Yeah, it was "First Friday." Though, I really didn't go in... because I saw no familiar faces in the group.

As you know, I am VERY shy... yes, very. Thus, better go to quiet place for drinks and food.



Those T-birds... most of them were those whom I hadn't seen over a year or possible two!!!
