Just domestic day for me today. Why? Good question.
I have to make another departure tomorrow. To where? Not Asia this time. In fact, Paris. Yes, the one in France.

Not that exciting about this... The reason is that it's going to be quite cold for sure.
Oh boy, I don't like that much. Really.

Plus, it's about the job. I have to go there for work. Yeah, really.

Very discouraging.

Hey, better shake it off, right? Right? I know so. But I cannot yet.
Once I touch the French soil, I may get a better mood. Will see.

Hi, folks. Good Monday? For me, it was so-so. Somewhat busy... meeting after meeting. It was all okay, though. Nothing special.
I got a gift... souvenir from Hong Kong. One of clients bought this for me...







As you see the last photo... this is a case for eye glasses. Top and bottom are different colors. Very vivid color, isn't it? So Chinese.

Well, this is what I told.

"Oh, this goes well with your today's tie."

Today's tie? This?! Really go together well? Sure??? Hmmm. You'd better judge it for me.



Brand new "PUCCI" tie. Yeah, long-waited PUCCI for me.

So what would you say? Let me hear it.

Wait. Did I certainly set the alarm last night? Didn't hear it at all.
Man, I was SO late to the airport.

Taxi driver who was on "stand-by" for me told, "What happened to you? I was wondering..."

Yeah, yeah, my fault. Messed it up. (BANG!)

Thanks to that kind driver... the way to the airport was SUPER FAST.

Not much time to shop (of course not!).

Lunch - spicy noodle soup but was GREAT!
Good company... who is going to leave the work place in next month... surely going to be missed by us all!!!



After dinner, I got "kidnapped" for drinks... Did I get drunk? Hmmm, not really.
Wait. Who did that? Lady G22 - still MBA.

In fact, even after the fun festivity with this lady... I worked late. OH BOY!

Hey, don't use your little imagination TOO much (even though you don't have much anyhow...). Just drinks. (BANG!)

Currently packing... almost ready for the trip. It'll be a bit early tomorrow morning. Oh boy.
To majority of the public, tomorrow still it's off... national holiday. Sport Day.

I have to take the airport bus at 7:30 at Koiwa (Bus) Station. Hmmm, pretty early.

The size is not pocket size... not bible size... about in the middle between them. Not too big and not too small. Hope this unique size would be okay for me!

It's brown leather cover. Nice, huh? A bit expensive.

Quo Vadis for 2007.
Moleskine for 2008.

Quo Vadis was okay... Moleskine isn't that good even though currently in use. Hmmm.

Don't even know the 2009 schedule book would work for me or not. At least I try this media next year.

To be precise, the calendar starts from December, 2008 - one additional month before starting 2009. Not bad. Will switch to this book around that time.

You know, people... normal people, like us... yeah you and me... are so busy doing the job for pay check... That's all for our lives, right? Somehow, some people are different.

- Those who still make capital gain from this crazy stock market today
- Those who can tell which horse can ran faster among others in the race
- Those who apply and win the prize like free travel coupon

You know what I mean? Wait. Someone in particular get those all for himself... Unfair. Totally unfair.
Didn't he learn from the university like "live in a harmony" or "sharing the wealth with important others?"
California MBA should've given him a lecture on "equal distribution to make the world work in peace."

Wait a minute. Who in the world am I talking about? I am sure that he is laughing to the screen right at this moment.

My antique Omega watch requires new belt... current one is to be worn out. Actually it is so already.
How much to replace? Hmmm. That's the question. BIG question.

Long day with lots of thinking for me.
The question is ---

How to bear the value for my client in terms of my service?!

Tough to answer, huh! Indeed.
It has to be me... no one else to do the job...

I have to tie my strength such as skill or technique with goal of mission or tasks. I have to take advantage of my pro to come up with the wanted solution by client...

Is this truly possible for me?
Am I in right place?

Oh boy... maybe in big mistake? Hmmm.

Am I being the best I can for the delivery? I should think simply and look for right answer to it.

Three bags are my collection now... hahaha.



I bought a new bag... red one today. Wait. Didn't I have the same bag in blue? I still do!!!
Well, since the purchase of the blue bag, I like so much about it.

I wanted to have one in different color to be more suitable for autumn or winter. Yeah, blue is so summer-like, don't you think?
So I picked the red one. What do you think? It's so cool!!!

Now I have to use them differently... depending upon not only type of use... but also color of my clothes.

I made a big mistake. Totally underestimated about today's work.
Wait. Work? On Saturday? Yeah, really.

I wanted it to be done by noon... with hope that I can go to see some movie in the afternoon.
Totally wrong. So wrong. Didn't even have that kind of luxury.

I considered the job is done for, at least, the day is around 4pm. Too late for anything.

See you can tell that I am still not matured business person yet.

It's TGIF, folks! What's up? For me, long week with series of good food is now over!

Thanks to a lady flew from California with such luck which was so rewarding for me.
Today's lunch... is typical example, huh!

Here we go:



This is Chicken & egg over rice. Typical Japanese rise dish called "Oyako don."
Because of this chicken considered top grade, the dish turned to be quite pricey.

2,000 yen or 20 bucks. Yeah, would you spend such money for single meal particularly lunch?

I know-

That is why I am saying, "rewarding."

Over dinner, I met a long time friend for the 1st time... in YEARS!
Interesting story shared with that person because...

"Yeah, you said that you wanted to study for Master then."
Really? I was mentioning that I would like to study at graduate school and Thunderbird was actually one of choices then... so out of my mouth. WOW!

Never remembered that. Hmmm.

Working so late...
Sorry, not in the office. Had a meeting that lasted until 9-ish... after that, outside the office I worked.

Yeah, yeah, those are regular questions... huh. In Japanese culture, there isn't always either in black or in white. Something in grey are still part of reality. Comprende??? (How come in Spanish?) Hahaha.

Not truly entertainment for client, either. Though, full of drinks tonight.
I even missed the last train for the day. Only the option to go home... is the taxi ride. Oops, expensive ride only?

Ladies at the club didn't realize it was same person about me.

What's the difference from last time?

-Tie
-Glasses

They made such difference? Yeah, they did. Really.
I looked much more matured and serious tonight... said ladies.

Meaning... I was like a boy last time? Not so serious and easy-go kind of guy? Hmmm.

Came home around 3am... WOW!

No much to talk about... except great food that I ate today!

Sushi dinner in Ginza. Yeah, "exensive" Ginza... I happened to be able to eat good food with special guest from US.
