New Shoe
09/28/08 Sun
Finally, got new shoes... brown ones this time. Yeah,
have been looking for a quite long time.
How come took me that long? Well, budget... design... style... etc. All that.
I love this pair. Wanted a bit lighter brown in fact... though, I am very happy with these.
Too bad that wet weather is ahead... have to hold the 1st step with these for a while. Maybe around Thursday or Friday time? Will see.

Back to Old Days?
08/25/08 Mon
I really thought that I did finish education... for
my life.
Now somehow... another thought crosses my mind... sometimes.
Want old days back?
Like that? This photo is of me while in Thunderbird.
Another schooling? For what? Why? Hmmm.
I guess, I am not really fond of education. I like being student. Doesn't this make sense? Isn't this so me?
You tell me... you know how I am and who I am!!!

New Cell Phone
07/21/08 Mon
No particular plan... happened to buy new phone
today!
Big surprise is that I come to buy a Sony product. Rare to happen!
Yeah, for particular reason... didn't have any other choice like other brands.
Hmmm.
So far so good. Very interesting phone.
I am not heavy cell phone user... so even though I wouldn't like this phone, it doesn't matter. Hahaha.

Big Snow over Tokyo... So Sudden!
02/03/08 Sun
Hi, folks. Some people know that big snow hit the
center of Tokyo today... Snow continued pretty much
all day long!
Even some accumulations here. Meaning, lots of people got disturbed by this natural cause. Am, of course, one of them. I was planning to go out to either temple or shrine for praying... to get rid of bad luck by asking for good one.
Man, didn't know such disturbance was coming like this.
Thus, I have to stick with this poor luck all week this week? Hmmm.
Today, February 3rd is called "Setsubun."
Here is the definition:
"Setsubun" literally means "division of seasons" and this day was the end of winter. On the evening of this day, people throw roasted soybeans inside and outside their houses with a cry of "Oniwa-soto, Fukuwa-uchi!" meaning "Devils out! Good luck in!". As the beans are thrown, it is believed good luck is invited in and bad luck is driven out.It is also customary to eat as many roasted beans as one's age. It is a kind of charm against ill luck.
Anyway, I ate special rice for Setsubun... for peace and no ills all year around.
Ate "Ehoumaki." So I should be physically well in 2008! I lack only luck now.

Snow... Still Cloudy and Rainy over My Life...
01/23/08 Wed
Wow, yeah... snow was here...
I had a hard time walking to the station!!! No injury, though.
Woke up from a dream which was work-related. Obviously, I have too many concerns... didn't sleep soundly for sure.
Oh boy... I have no luck to turn the project around quickly... I still have to seek a "leverage" doing so.
Yeah, I know, need it right now... may take a bit longer.
Interviewed two candidates in the morning. Both were... not best kind for what I want. Different competencies.
My student to whom I give lectures three days a week must have been tired. Lacked the concentration. Even gave her a recap from previous session about business support integration model, she wasn't as sharp as usual. Then, today's topic was credit risk management... I am sure that she didn't get a good grasp of the topic.
Hmmm, I should do it over again...
One of the project members upset me with his poor deliverable. That was really bad... I even called him up to clarify how come I had to be upset with him. Hate to see someone keep excusing himself over and over. Sickened and tired of listening to that fellow because everything is backward... I need to see some (of course, positive) changes from that point on, instead.
Hmmm, will see how he can improve hereon.
Today it wasn't as comfortable as I wanted it to be... I guess, I was out of luck. I have to be patient for a while... situation won't be different from how it is at least for a while. Hmmm.
Ain't my day!

PS (Paul Smith) Suit
03/19/07 Mon
Yep, this is it! Hehehe... for long time I really
wanted to have one for myself.
This is the Paul Smith suits that I recently bought. Pretty darn expensive (at lest to myself).
Can't tell much about this style? Well, let's leave it in that way!!! You can tell firsthand upon seeing me in face! Hehehe.
Anyway, you can tell such unique design even from this photo.

Rolex Back!
02/23/07 Fri
Taking advantage of lunch break, I rushed to Rolex
Japan for pick-up. I forgot the order card which
required for pickup. I told young lady over counter
in Rolex Japan...didn't take too long for my
verification.
Within 10 minutes or so, shiny Rolex - which has been in my possession over single decade - came back to my wrist once again!
Here is the record:
In 1993 - January 3rd on 5th Avenue, New York City, I made a purchase of Rolex Explorer II.
Before this time, overhaul took place once. For 13 years or so, overhaul completed twice.
Didn't have any major trouble with wonderful wrist watch... though, I periodically take it to the maintenance because I really want it goes along with me for rest of my life. I may buy new watch later in my life... doesn't mean I will downgrade this watch in my collection.
Everything, except face glass, seems brand new! That is due to the grinding process in the overhaul. Glass does have some scratches... too bad! For next overhaul in 5-7 years from now, I will request to replace the glass.
If you do have automatic watch... any brand... I recommend to take it to the manufacturer for maintenance. Don't know how often it should be. As per Rolex, it should be 5-7 years.... unless you realize that watch keep ticking faster than actual time.
What do you think?
As my last note for the day, this is DEFINITELY last ROLEX. I wouldn't buy any other model of this brand. I want this as ONLY Rolex for my life.
