Comedy movie - Japanese one... called "Happy Flight"
is my pick for the day.
Practically, I wanted to see "Red Cliff."
Movie was about a story for single flight... which ended up returning back to Japan on the half way due to mechanical trouble.
The pilot was still OJT base and one CA (cabin attendant) gets in trouble on this first international flight.
Lots of different customers and ground crew and maintenance personnel have their own stories toward single flight. Very interesting. Funny? Yeah, you can laugh time to time (not to the death, though).
Not only technical issue... but the weather wasn't supporting... Typhoon hit the Tokyo area. Another challenge for the pilots and crews!

Biggest disappointment of the year?
The preview was really well-done. Indeed. I thought that this would be great movie.
Well, to be frank... the preview is well-done. Not the movie itself.

I saw a movie for free this afternoon.
"Hancock"
Yeah, cool Will Smith movie. Man, he's so cool!!!
I thought that this movie was about super hero made great job. Though, the story wasn't merely so.
More like human story... between super heroes. Hmmm, interesting.
Do you see this movie?! Better do that if haven't.
It was great entertainment on the day with no great plans.

No, it was "What Happens in Vegas" - very fun movie.
Cameron Diaz really fits into this kind of story... perfect bitch! (Oh, excuse me my language!)
Though, the language in that movie... very interesting. Very direct... and ugly!
Korean BBQ lunch for today. Oh boy, how often do I eat Korean? Three times a week? Hmmm.
Just this week. Won't happen that often.
Lastly... fixed this:
New black leather belt to the Skagen watch. I was told that it was needed overhaul... seems that glass is frosted inside... somewhat water (sweat?) got inside. Hmmm. It's 8 years old or even older... No wonder why.
Should I send this watch for overhaul? Should I buy new? Overhaul even cots around 100 bucks or so, I think.
Hmmm, lots to think then.

New movie... checked ouy. Turned out to be long one.
Good but very (?) sophisticated.
Which one am I talking about? Yeah, its the Dark Knight.
2 hours and a half movie was really entertainment.

Hero cannot be the hero for the City because the timing isn't right? Hmmm. Tough to understand.
Old Batman story was much more simple, wasn't it?!
Because of long story, I was hungry when the movie was over...
This bowl of noodle wasn't only the meal for the day; however, this becames the main one. Hahaha.
Surely, this is famous "Ichiran" noodle. Thin noodles. Liked this bowl.

If you have tons of spare time... nothing to do... No other movie titles interest you... Here we go... you should try this movie.

Indiana Jones No. 4... Japan's opening is next week and I went to pre-open road show today. Lucky me?
Plus, it was a movie special day... discount price also. Hahaha. Perfect for someone poor... like me? (BANG!)
Didn't raise too much of my expectation about this movie.
Somehow, I read some critics' articles in US about this movie and, with no many exceptions, rating wasn't that high. That was because the story was sort CHEAP.

The movie wasn't that bad... though, surely, I cannot rate this high. Hahaha.

"Fixer" is the title here.
Title in English is "Michael Clayton."
Oh yes, this was good movie. Liked it!

It was dizzy-inducing movie... you know what I mean? It were like the "Blair Witch Project."
Cloverfield... I liked it.
Probably it was only me while first part of the movie... way before crazy stuff happened was on... I kept laughing.
Yeah, that party scene. It was darn so funny to me... reminding me of all party stuff...
It was so typical. American comedy like. So funny.
I can give A- to this movie. Well, didn't like the end. Too sad.

What a disappointment... huh? It's okay. Life is always bitter.
Last day of this period, I made it very early... went to get hair-cut. Worked a bit... yeah I had to work still.
Around 11am, went out to entertain myself.
So went to movie under wet weather.

For late lunch... went to Tokyo Station and stopped by "Kona-ya" restaurant.
Renown "Curry Udon." Not spicy. Pretty good stuff.
Only con that I find is that this is very pricey. 1,400 yen or 14 dollars!
Taste was somewhat good... though I no longer return. This should be my last visit for a long time.
Then, I spent several hours in OAZO - my favorite place for checking out books and magazines!
My usual "BRIO" on sale today for May edition.
Cover is of Ginza's prestigious restaurants and bars? Oh cool. I will read all about it!
Another magazine picked up. "Shumi no Bunbougu bako" or "Jewel box of the Hobby."
Yeah, fountain pen... one after another!

Just saw one movie... it wasn't my choice because I
thought that I would come to see another movie which
wasn't come to the theater yet. Hmmm.
Thus, I ended up seeing "Beowulf."
Didn't know that it was based upon English classic literature. Hmmm.
Didn't like this movie a bit because the theme was pretty cheap.
"Man never be changed... always crazy with GREED.
Greed for sex... and money (gold then).
Greed is "GOOD and works." That was a say by Gekko... in "Wall Street."
Anyway, have to rate this movie for C-. Disagree? So be it.
In baseball, Japan beats Korea... Man, it was tough game. Though, we are one-step closer to the road to Beijin for Olympic Games.
Let's see how we can secure the ticket by tomorrow's game against Taiwan.

day. Thus, we made it early. Yeah, I was still half

Ocean's 13... Good movie. I liked it. Fun for sure. I can give a solid B to this film. Recommended.

Huge earthquake hit the northern part of Japan TWICE today.
Well, no damage over Tokyo area. Please note that I am safe... so are my family members and friends.
John McLane came before Jack Sparrow. Yeah, what do I mean? M O V I E, right? Hehehe.
"Live Free or Die Hard" - Japanese title is simply, "Die Hard 4.0."
MoonFlower and I hadn't see any movie for a long time and we decided to see a movie today.
Yep, John McLane movie.
Better than predecessors? Well, don't know. However, the action was certainly great! My eyes were kept open and dried out!
Just kidding. That is exaggerating.
Next movie... probably, Jack. Probably. Maybe Harry? (BANG)

This dish is from "Ajigen" near the JR Koiwa Station. This is my "usual" noodle shop. Took MoonFlower there for the 1st time. She said, it was okay. Not great stuff to female. Please note.
Moved to Shinjuku. MoonFlower wanted to check The Conran Shop. It's great designer interior shop. Famous (so I heard!).
No serious shopping in there. Just looked. (e.g. low budget)
Went to Isetan Department Store for "window" shopping as well. No buys.
Then, this:
Mr. "Web Master." Yep, it's Spider-Man 3.
It was okay. Is this end of the series? That is my question remaining unanswered. Do you know?
