Now I own the third one. Really? Really...



Bigger bag, though. This is for 1-2 day(s) travel.
For going home on New Year, I am using this bag for sure.

All golfing in next year, will use this, too.

Quo Vadis was okay... Moleskine isn't that good even though currently in use. Hmmm.

Don't even know the 2009 schedule book would work for me or not. At least I try this media next year.

To be precise, the calendar starts from December, 2008 - one additional month before starting 2009. Not bad. Will switch to this book around that time.

I bought a new bag... red one today. Wait. Didn't I have the same bag in blue? I still do!!!
Well, since the purchase of the blue bag, I like so much about it.

I wanted to have one in different color to be more suitable for autumn or winter. Yeah, blue is so summer-like, don't you think?
So I picked the red one. What do you think? It's so cool!!!

Now I have to use them differently... depending upon not only type of use... but also color of my clothes.

One - sparkling wine from Spain. The other is French wine. French one is what I drank on French dinner the other day.

Well, ordered this last month and today this was delivered to me. After three weeks or so... yeah, name engraved and tip was changed from medium to bold. Yeah, fine customization as I like!!!

Lots of european brands are seeking the timing to raise the retail price due to unfavorable exchange rate.
Cartier is doing that at the end of month. Thus, I rushed the order!!!

Yes, this is my 35th BD present for myself. Yeah, really. A bit early, but that's okay.

Went to Alain MIkli shop to check new items (yeah, eye frame).

Thus, had to go to small bookstore near my apartment. Picked up one book... which I finished reading one hour after. Yeah, simply reading... turned out to be very quick. Interesting reading it was.

I thought I used to hate reading. Now it is no longer that way.

Hi, folks. Finally home. Yeah, finally. Long flight... 10 hours or so from Sydney.
The airport in Sydney was rather small... upset me with poor service quality!!!
Quantas staff and Duty Free sales clerk... no intension for working hard. Hmmm.
I guess, that's so-called Aussie. Hahaha.

Arrived at Narita very early morning. Around 6:30am.
Took me so long to find out my suitcase... Actually it was slow process. Narita hadn't waken up yet then.

Barely made 7:45am bus for Kowai. Otherwise, had to wait until 9:30am. Big difference, huh.
Of course, returned rental cell phone before bus departure.

New toy got here in the afternoon... came with huge disappointment. Yeah, really.
It was purely defect. Soon as AC Adaptor plugs in... big digital noise is out all over around!
Obviously, defect. No other way.

Then called up the seller for claim. easily accepted the claim. No exchange. This model seems discontinued at the manufacturer already... BUMMER!



No more fancy food for me. Have eaten enough while in Sydney, huh! Darn right I have!

Somehow - no particular reason, Mr. Clause showed up to me today. Yeah, he brought me a pity... (BANG!) Actually, he brought a pair of shoes:



Yeah, red-ish brown shoe. Pretty cool. Definitely for business. I will start wearing them from next year.

This year... because I started living in Tokyo for new job... NEW STUFF as following:

It was long day with driving... though, I still know driving.

Well, I have AC in the room. That's all for heating.
AC isn't that good for the heating function. Too much power in running. Thus, I have to have alternative solution.

For my usually writing needs, I use Montblanc ball point pen if not fountain pen. Now I have more choice in that category in addition to fountain pen. Wow, the disease is not curing... but getting worse and worse. Hehehe.

Anyway, I am very content with this beautiful pen. I may not use Montblanc much because I tend to use Monteverde more. This is so like Ogakijin!

Oh found a fact that project manager who showed up to my place today were also wearing cufflinks. Much more conservative than ones that I wore. Well, they were BVLGARI. No wonder! Hehehe.

Of course... he's my boss for current project. Makes big bucks for certain. Yes, you beat me, master!

Work was quite flat. Spent time on PPT slides... yeah 60 of them. The number will go up by end of tomorrow. Due? I think I can deliver this deliverable to my client at the end of Thursday.
My last day at the current project is Friday!

Since I told MoonFlower that I wanted to "look" (not buy) shirts, suits, and shoes for myself, we got together in Ginza for shopping.

Though, my shopping time didn't come quickly. We went to "Hidemi Sugino" sweetshop. Yep, sweets shop... MoonFlower's specialty.
This shop is extremely popular since the guy, HIdemi Sugino, was featured in some documentary on national channel on TV. In the small shop, full of customers waiting to be served!

MoonFlower and I waited for about 30 minutes to get seated in the lounge.
She bought more than several baked sweets and we ordered some cakes with fruits along with the tea.
You know, I ended up paying about $60. Yeah, SIXTY dollars, man!

For your note, I am SO broke!

So we have NO lunch for the day!!!

In Ginza, MoonFlower and I bought shoes for ourselves.
Plus, I asked Paul Smith shop to reserve one particular suits for me.
Well, it didn't carry one at my size today. They said that they may carry one in inventory.
Will see if they have one for me... or maybe not.

How much is that? $700. Yeah, big bucks... that's why I haven't made the purchase.
I just asked them to "hold the pair of suits" for me.

One more time... am STILL broke!

I didn't want to buy even shoe even though I did... I had to. Don't have enough variety to cover the work Monday through Friday!
Same reason for suits as well.

Finally, I went out... to Kinshicho (3 weekends in row?).

I bought this piece of furniture for $400. To be delivered next Saturday.
Thus, I come to a conclusion of all apartment setting in terms of furniture? Well...

I am still missing bed... Need one for sure. I guess, that is to be last big purchase.
Cannot make it quick. Have to wait another pay day. (BANG!)

MoonFlower got here around 11:30am. She brought lots of my clothes that I sent to her home from Japan.
Well, there are some more stuff on the way to her place from US. That means that I ought to expect more stuff in this apartment room. Hmmm.

Went to nearby department store to buy curtain. Some of styles were on sale... I grabbed one for my room right away!
We went on to furniture store called NITORI. We took trains to get there.

Well, today's mission is complete! Didn't think that I would finish it all within a day. I guess, buying curtain so quickly gave us advantage.

My apartment is almost well-furnished! Yes, you're welcome anytime!!!

I didn't buy it... didn't even have control over the purchase. MoonFlower decided to buy this particular sofa for my apartment room. Well, I was on the phone with her who was in the shop looking at the sofa.

After the purchase, I got picture. Seems pretty nice. Price? That's too very nice!



Delivery is going to be made on 22nd, the 1st day at my new apartment. Yahoo!!!
How much? Well, it's about 500 bucks.

What's up, folks? Am still busy... even though haven't started working yet!!! After apartment hunting, I have to look for stuff to fill out the new place!!! I never bought TV, refrigerator, or washing machine. Yeah, seriously... I used old TV... didn't have fridge for a long time... and I used Laundromat.

It means that I now come to totally new life style! Yeah, truly.

In the morning, I stuck with my cellular phone. That was because I have to request service to power, gas, and water company. Plus, I sent an application for Internet access via fiber optic network (should be super fast access!).

Went out to Akihabara for serious shopping in the afternoon.
MoonFlower joined me since she took a day off today (she went errands before meeting me).

Of course, Yodobashi Camera superstore is my destination.
Previously made a booking with concierge support at Yodobashi because I already knew that it was going to be multi-products shopping session. From TV to refrigerator.

Yeah, this is the shirt that I talked about yesterday. I haven't seen this firsthand yet because MoonFlower bought for me and she holds on to it. Seems this is very casual. Yeah, strictly casual. I hope this will be good on me. Otherwise, I am going to resell it online?

Busy day today. Started at the City Hall. Resident registration. Then, brought the copy of registration to the police station in order to renew the driver's license. Yeah, took me several hours to do it all. Hmmm. It was about 3:30pm when I was done.

To renew the license, all applicants must take a session of driving manner and etiquette. Saw some video showed of bad traffic accident would ruin one's life so easily. Yeah, that wasn't so funny. Rather, it was pretty much discipline-giving.

"Car is running lethal weapon." Lecturer wrote the phrase on the board at which more than 60 people looked.

Moleskine Agenda is hard to get. Yesterday, checked in the bookstore in Gifu... was in vain. No inventory. Today, went to another one in Ogaki... wasted time for that. No one can buy one around this area!!! I should wait until I get up to Tokyo.

What's up! Hope you're having too much drinks with great foods! For me, it is sure thing... that my mother feeds me too well. Yeah, am gaining again! Well, let's put it in this way... I can gain now and lose later. Sounds like everyone's diet strategy

W44T is my brand new gadget! Yeah, it's cellular phone. This is the first time for me to carry "au" (carrier) phone. So far I have been loyal (?) NTT DoCoMo user for a half of decade. Due to MoonFlower's demand? (yep, she's au user) I had to bend myself for this particular decision.

So far, I like this new phone. Pretty neat. I hadn't got access to au network or downloaded applications yet. However, love this color (red) and interface. Emailing and calling are primary functions that I use daily (of course, this is phone, darn it!).

Via messenger (Skype and Yahoo! Messenger), Anshu, Abhi, Tiffany, Zach, and Aida had a contact with me for New Year's greeting. Wow, great to hear from you guys! Anshu still in India, Aida in Morocco.

Watching TV all day long. Stated home all day long. Yeah, I have done noting. Yep, you can call me lazy! (Yeah, Kristy used to call me, "slacker.")

Internet access is granted fully right now (finally!) and I kept searching apartment information... I have to find a place to live for new job and have the move complete within the month. Target area is Ichikawa City - just outside Tokyo. That's where MoonFlower wants me to live. Do I have a choice? You know what I mean!
