Tak's Milestone: August, 2002
|
August 31 2002 =Tons of Sleep |
Sloppy Tak?! You know me well, don't you? Good and long sleep. Good for me. Then, rest of time for today was spent on computing. New system installation and hardware was initialized before then. New environment with upgraded software. Now using MacOS X 10.2!!! Certainly faster and more features to enjoy. 100% compatible with cellular phone (P-in Comp@act) for Internet access. Wonderful! Now I can go anywhere with this!
Photoshop, GoLive, Office... all major software are now restored.
Only hectic thing to do is reentry of some personal data. Since changing default email software to MacOS standard "Mail," I have to type all information rather than usual "import" function, I will keep doing it a little by a little to complete the list. It might take a while.
Ally McBeal was another company for today. While taking such long time in process of installation, more than 3 episodes of that famous American drama. Did crack me up much! Hahaha. Laugh calls good health upon... yeah!
Good weather outside. Hot, too. Well, last part of summer, maybe I should get out to appreciate the sunshine?! Tomorrow then.

August 30 2002 =Fridaaaaaaaaay! |
Yeah, finally. Since didn't have spare time last weekend which was consisted from company meeting and party, this weekend is definitely long-waited. Tired and lack of sleep?! Indeed!
No plans as usual. Having girlfriend really doesn't mean that I would be busy over weekends. In fact, there aren't much difference between before - when not having any girlfriend and after. Wow, that seems pity?! Hahaha.
She has another plan to be out of town.
Tak's Friday was busy. Since this was end of the fiscal year... and I was forced to move my desk toward wall side... where no one wanted to sit. Since not that important roll I play for work, my value doesn't get counted as high as others'. Really.
Two appointments were done and took lots of homework. Man, this is just killing myself. Am I willing to?! Anyway, it is about to end August... literally SUMMER! 2nd summer in Japan after coming back from US now ends. Time really flies and I do need some kind of new excitement.
See you. Have a good weekend, folks.

August 29 2002 =Italian and Thai Cuisine?! |
Full of work today. At least I thought so. Good day?! In fact, it was hectic hot day in Tokyo. Not healthy at all! Good for my diet?! You gotta be kidding! Hahaha.
Now Thursday is over and I can see that weekend is to come up next. What about Friday?! Forget all about it! Not that important. People work just half day! (really?) Certainly I haven't scheduled any appointments for tomorrow yet. Smart, huh?! Perfect crime?!
Saturday event with Tetsuji and other friends - came to be canceled. Hmmmm, that's bad. One of us will be out of town and we all decided to reschedule later on. What shall Tak do then?! No other thing to do.
Besides I have to buy new pair of shoes for work! Since being outside sales, I easily wear shoes out. Yeah, really.
No "Austin Powers" move for this weekend. Girlfriend Lucky will be, once again, out of town and she holds free admission tickets for two and I have to wait another whole week to go to see that movie with her. Good or bad? Well, at least I am going to see that movie.
Other movies like "Total Fears" could be good alternative.
Italian for supper... and lunch was Thai cuisine. Very rich foods were there. Both in Ginza. Man, how come I ended up in the same place like that?! I must have been glued to that area?! Or possible other reason out there?! Like that's where girlfriend Lucky works?! Hmmmm, no comments.
Anyway, here are details of two foods places:
(Italian) "As cafe Mikuni" @03 3574-6145 http://www.oui-mikuni.co.jp
(Thai) "Papaya Leaf" @03 3215-8340 http://gnavi.joy.ne.jp/toho/
Both are not that far from Yurakucho and reasonably priced! That's most important for someone like me with CLOSED wallet.
All right, let's call the night off. Tired. Good night.

August 28 2002 =Seeing Lucky over Dinner |
Hi fellows. Hmmmm, the date has been forwarded by one already. Yeah, passing midnight and now it's Thursday! Wow.
"Buena noticia" (good news) about new MacOS X 10.2 --- now totally enables cellular phone connection. Means, my P-in Comp@act issue must be solved! Yeah, worth to buy new package right away! Tetsuji Fukui and I agreed to move on to brand new system software by this weekend. I cannot wait!
Jaguar!!! (code name of OSX 10.2)
Taking care of lots of pending issues all day long --- no important appointments and going out. Many quotes were due... some were done! (What about those which were left behind?)
"New Korean Cuisine Restaurant OTANDO" located near Tokyo Station.
It was the final destination for the night. With girlfriend Lucky - tonight it was the last and only chance to see her during this week since she had plans for weekend.
Korean dishes... I haven't eaten such dishes for a long time since I don't eat much beef these days... though, it was pretty good!
Wow, I might have a new assignment at work?! Who can read my future?!

August 27 2002 =Summer Isn't Over Yet? |
What did you expect?! It was absolutely hot summer day. Still not over yet! We all thought that it was over! Man.
My LONG day started in Ebisu area and I even went up to Saitama City in the afternoon. Certainly long day. Good result?! Well, I don't want to tell much but there was some bad stuff and I was quite concerned. Besides that matter, it was all okay.
Lunch with coworker Tetsuji Fukui and we ate pasta dish.
He and I decided to do something this weekend and also will upgrade out Mac computers to MacOS X 10.2! Seemed this system upgrade is wise to do - I cannot wait since I want to use PHS cellular phone connection. As mentioned before under 10.1.5 I cannot take advantage of such way of connection to the Internet.
Lots of people told me that it was a great job to post all photos from this past weekend. Indeed, lots of work! Hahaha.
yk110 is back to me?! She came here to read my stuff today! Great! I miss her much.... where the heck has she been?!
Came home tired. Yeah, really. Let me go to bed.

August 23 2002 =Now Ready for Trip? |
Hi... about time for weekend! Not usual one, though. Will be out of town... to Atami for meeting. Yep, that's W O R K!!!
Gonna be very early morning to start since we all have to catch one of early trains to Atami from Tokyo Station. No kidding! Much (at least a little) earlier than week days?! That's so bad!
MORE than several appointments in the afternoon. Afternoon only! Means quite busy, huh! Yep, really. Good stuff?! Well, things were slow since Friday afternoon and all clients were all thinking of leaving the office, etc. Truly. Trust me.
Anyway, I will report as details as possible about tomorrow's meeting as well as PARTY. Yeah, festivity with full of drinks.
Girlfriend is on her way to out of town, too. Hmmmm with whom?

August 22 2002 =Bad Thursday |
Still working home and 2 laptops are on... Now finally I come to private one to update my diary for today! About time!
Came home late. Since I went out with girlfriend for dinner.
Throughout busy day today, I barely made it to see her. Really. Had more than several appointments and at the same time there was a big problem from Shanghai, China. I was in touch with colleague Ken Zhou. Well, I don't know him in person; I found that he is great to work with. He told me that he started this biz in particular, he will follow all up to the end and he finishes it. Man, I like that kind of professionalism and I want to be like that!
Well, still problem remains unsolved... yet. Wish me luck!
Getting back to talk about dinner tonight. We went to a place called --- I don't remember! I usually check the name and its restaurant details for this update... though, I didn't do my homework. I was busy talking to her in order to maintain her preference on me! Hahaha... that's too much?
Man, I forgot that pay day was tomorrow and almost no cash with me!!! Though, I didn't make her pay in full. I paid a half. Not good enough?! Well, some other time, I will offer to pay all for her regardless to amount due.
Good friend of mine, Lindo had birthday today! Happy birthday!!! Lindo, hope you had a great day with your people. Maybe fancy dinner for you?
Tired. About time for bed. Tomorrow, still lots to do! Hmmmm.

August 21 2002 =Cooler? |
Getting cooler and cooler day by day?! Especially during the night. I was wise that I didn't open window fully. Yeah, I don't want to catch cold that early and season hasn't come yet!
Tak's busy week still continues. Two appointments in the afternoon and about time for me to wear myself out. Though, still tough and busy schedule is set for tomorrow... how shall I do to maintain good salute? Hmmmm, that's a question. Tomorrow I will show in three different points in central part of Tokyo. Hot weather is expected?! No kidding! Well, better than messy weather like lots of rain, right?! Yep.
Bought 128MB of SmartMedia for digital camera. I, before then, had just a 16MB and 32MB cards. Why now 128MB?! That's because of this weekend when I spend both Saturday and Sunday in Atami - one of popular destination for vacation. Famous for hot spring!
This weekend --- annual event by company. The Kick Off Meeting is planned for new fiscal year. More than 100 people will come to get together. Not only the serious meeting; also big drinking time!!! Ha! No wonder that I count that I will be busier to take as many photos as possible while such limited time.
So I will come with 176MB capacity in total and 3 sets of batteries! Hahaha. I must be more than ready!
Beef rice bowl for lunch - late one around 3pm... since meeting was prolonged. Didn't mean to. Just some customer kept talking!
Meitoku Gijyuku High from Kochi came to the winning pennant. Congratulations! First time ever winning whole thing for Meitoku. I just saw the recap of game... wasn't close game and quite easy game for Meitoku. Anyway, I could tell that I watched more games than last year. Definitely I was glued to the TV. Well, ending the tournament really calls ending summer. Wow, quick.

August 20 2002 =Busy with Lots of Sweat |
Started my day in the Tokyo Fish Market - Tsukiji. First time for me to show up there. Very smelly.... but that's normal thing out there... just different to me.
More than a few appointments within single day. Indeed buy and I was in hurry to move one place to another. Like I said, Tsukiji was the start point; then moved to Asakusabashi and still appeared in Shibuya later in the afternoon.
Just a little secret... that I had lunch with Lucky. Japanese noodle - "SOBA." Didn't plan to... just happened to happen like this. Hahaha. Like I said, I was buy, okay?
New personnel to my department?! Still and yet we need extra hands? Obviously so! It is a young lady... Yamamoto. No picture taken yet. Will be.
Coworker Inoue brought me a booklet... said "Guide of Adobe Photoshop 7.0" - yeah, this is exactly what I wanted to see. All details of every new function are mentioned in depth. Damn pretty good!
Koshien - the High School Baseball Championship - tomorrow the final will take place. Chiben Wakayama High from Wakayama Prefecture and Meitoku Gijyuku High from Kochi Prefecture. Both are definitely good teams and tomorrow's face-off is to be one to our memory. Too bad that I have to miss it... since the game time is while at work! I should call some client where the TV can be available?! Hahaha.
Still Tuesday, huh. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday yet to come... And not only that. Saturday and Sunday as special weekend of the year for work, I will be with coworkers. Yeah, I mean that we all have to work thru the weekend for some official meeting!
Good night.

August 19 2002 =Typhoon Not Around |
Thank God that typhoon decided to stay away from us. Means not much rain and not so strong winds. And this Monday wasn't like one last week. Definitely busier and lots to do! Man, I just came home to rest. Exhausted. Need a break --- perhaps need a weekend --- maybe vacation! Hahaha.
Friday is pay day, got it? There is only air in my bank account. Well maybe some dust... definitely no cash whatsoever!
Some readers send me messages with some complaint about exclusive photo with girlfriend Lucky from this weekend. Oh boy, just leave me alone, will ya! All here are my space and my creation!!! Ha! Do whatever the way I like and stay as I want. Never change this.
Showed up in Osaki area. First time. Lots of corporations... not much fun places... like fancy restaurants, etc. Hmmmm.
While I had just one site visit (to new client or at least I can call "client-to-be"), made lots of phone calls to prospects for appointments. I've got three appointments, one on Wednesday... and two more on day after, etc. Wow! Lots of stuff to do for this week.
Akihiko Takahashi now finally got transferred back to Tokyo from Los Angeles. Welcome back!
How about Charlie Takahashi?! From New York to Tokyo... Tak is waiting for a call from you, Charlie!
New "novia" for Yoshio Iimura? Wow, I cannot hold my mouth shut! Hahaha!

August 18 2002 =JFK |
Too much fun had yesterday and that's why my tension was quite lowered today?! Hmmm, who knows? No special plan for today and I was thinking to stop by at the place where friend's exhibition took place over this weekend. Well, I missed it.
I had some problem in my left eye and it was itchy in pain somewhat. Maybe, I have scratched my eye and made it worse?! Anyway, I stayed home clam. Wanted to get haircut and didn't make that either. Just peace and quiet day.
At night, finally I felt like wanting to do something. Well, movie JFK - long documentary-like move produced by Oliver Stone. Well, I wasn't quite aware of details of JFK Assassination event... though, it was quite interesting. I liked it.
Otherwise, nothing farther.
Well, welcome back, everyone! Summer vacation called "BON" is not really over. Get back to the reality and accept it. Tomorrow morning, all resume back to normal from morning rush hour and everything else. Whether you like it or not!!!
And tomorrow typhoon is coming up. Not really expected to hit Tokyo area. That's good.

August 17 2002 =Hanabi! |
Hanabi!!! Japanese for fireworks! Yeah, more than 5,000 wireworks in Tamagawa River, west part of Tokyo. I've got more than several shots with digital camera... though, not that good.
Don't you think that really beautiful?
Here is another shot!
Thank God that weather wasn't bad at all. A little cloudy... but good enough to enjoy ourselves in such event. It was from 7pm thru 8pm... more than several thousands of people were there! Yeah, really!
Well, let's begin all from early time on this day.
Lucky and I came to meet each other for that mentioned event in Shibuya and moved to the sight for the event. She brought a big --- really big lunch box with her... and told me that she fixed something to eat. So we ate, sitting along the river. Man, it was pretty cool... and under not that hot climate.
Sure, it was lovely moment. Ha!
You know what? It was first time for me to taste her cooking and she did a wonderful job! I liked it so much and enjoyed myself so much with every single stuff she fixed. Photos? Sorry, I forgot. Ok --- here's extra shot EXCLUSIVELY for English Version!
Lucky (R) and who?!?!?!

August 16 2002 =Planet of the Apes |
Currently watching DVD movie "Planet of the Apes" - rental. It is really good. Too bad that I didn't see this movie in theater. Regret.
Why watching movie home like this in Friday evening?! Well, work wasn't that bad and came home early... like 7:30pm. Didn't go out with anyone and girlfriend isn't in a good shape. She needed to rest. Having too much fun up to now?!
Typhoon is coming around and what happens to the plan for Saturday?! I wanted to see fireworks - Did I mention it yesterday?! I thought so. Anyhow, messy weather is expected. Hmmmm.
Well, you too have good weekend!

August 15 2002 =WWII Memorial |
Not only US Air... but maybe also United (UA) in coming fall?! That's very scary. Another major airlines may come to a bankruptcy?! Man... seemed severely bad. I just read another article that Delta now charges passengers checking in their 3rd luggage?! Yeah, current cost structure might have been worn out... not really well designed to support company's operational cost.
Now we have to see some upward movement of the price index just like that?! Who knows. Maybe.
8/15 --- 15th of August --- World War II Memorial. Not really holiday... but we all know that it was when last Emperor Hirohito declared that Japan lost and accepted entire surrender to US Army and other affiliated nations.
We, since then, promised to the world that we remained in peace and continued to support world peace. No military power owned (well...). With lots of regrets like from "Nanjing Massacre" when Japanese military really abused and killed innocent citizens of Nanjing like millions of them(!) --- we never intend to make any move toward any kind of warfare. Period.
On such day while many of ordinary people are on vacation... Tak was working! Yeah, even being faked working so hard or not, still work was work! Deserved to be paid!
No appointments with any clients. Indeed all (almost?) clients closed their doors for summer vacation, moron!
Man, weekend's weather might be a little messy? Typhoon is expected closer to Japan then. Oh boy, I wanted to go out with girlfriend for something. She may change her mind?!

August 14 2002 =Not Weekend Yet? |
Man, still Wednesday... feel like most end of week! Hahaha. While everyone else stay home rested and relaxed, coworkers and I myself stick with desk work. Yeah, really fun! (no way!)
New products come to the line-up of Apple products today. Yeah, Dual Processor G4 Macintosh. Nice. Very nice. How come I am still using this old G3 laptop? Definitely and certainly out of dated. Slow?! Yep, I can tell. Though, I like this piece. Remember that I still leave my old "G2" Macintosh (only desktop I had in my life!) in North Carolina with Mom.
Well, I don't miss much of that machine... but do miss her! And Robyn! Are you okay out there in Columbia, my darling sister?!
My father in Ogaki called me up and asked me if coming home this weekend or not... like other people spend this week with family. Well, the answer was indeed negative... however I found that my brother was on his way to Ogaki. Wow, that was surprising.
My work for the day isn't that bad... my concentration was Brazil and China. More precisely, Novo Hamburgo and Seoul. Do you know those places?! Check them out on the map! Hahaha.
New applications arrived to my computing environment. That is Adobe Photoshop version 7. Brand new. Very expensive stuff. I should take a class to learn more about this wonderful professional-use application. Wish this homepage to be better site.
Gee, I shouldn't forget about Adobe GoLive version 6 --- I should buy a guide book to know more, also.
All right. Tired. Let me hit my sacks!

August 13 2002 =Chukyo Won the 1st Game in Koshien |
Hello to those who are enjoying themselves on summer vacation... unlike myself! Ha! I know, isn't fair. I work and you rest. Definitely, world isn't as we all hope. There is NO perfect world!
Win, win, win! The state champion from Gifu Prefecture - Chukyo High won the first game in the National Championship. Defeated Yanagaura from Oita Prefecture. Great ball game! It was 5-3. Close game and really exciting one.
Too bad that I just saw the recap of game on TV. Entire game was broadcasting live on National Channel... though of course, I was at work! Unfortunately. I would rather be in Koshien - the ball park where all players doing the best in the dirt to win today's game.
Work wasn't that light but not heavy, either. Lots of assignments from Boss Ito for the first thing in the morning. Didn't expect to. Though, my part wasn't that bad.
After work - had a coffee with Hanaki (female) and then moved on to another grouping for some drinks. Had just one drink with some snack... that was all for tonight. Oh boy... I was talk more than ate. Hahaha! I enjoyed myself there. Quite bit.
Who were there with me?! Matsushita (male), Yamamoto (male), and "usual" Yasuko Funabashi (female). Man, it was fun. Too bad that it weren't Friday! Not so fast.

August 12 2002 =Good Start? |
Hi folks... thanks for stopping by to read this crazy kind of someone's life! No, today all weren't that crazy and I was quite relaxed. You know, this week... most of factories are shut down for summer holidays and some offices are also same. Means, lots of clients are NOT working and I don't have appointment with anyone.
So what is this all about!? I enjoy a little spare time at work?! Not so fast. Still lots of miscellaneous stuff keeps me busy! I didn't want to.
Though goo thing... I left work around 6pm! Yeah since lots of over-time hours accumulated within last week alone, I really have to watch that out and decided to leave EARLY.
Good thing came after that. Girlfriend told me that she wanted to see me... so we did and had a dinner together. Because we didn't see each other over this past weekend, it was really good catch-up and indeed made us feel together. Yeah, not bad.
Steak dinner. Man, I haven't had such heavy meal for a long time. Good food, though.
Friend Kack and Tom told me that they saw the movie "Signs" - Mel Gibson stars in. It was okay?! Tom preferred Austin Powers 3... to Signs. Oh boy, I cannot wait! Some theaters show Austin Powers from this weekend. In most theaters starts from 24th. What shall I do?! I should check and go to wherever show this weekend?! Man, that really come to my thought.
With whom in order to see such crazy stuff?! My girlfriend isn't a good candidate to go with me... since she hasn't seen all previous series yet.

August 11 2002 =Easy Weekend Over?! |
Yeah, weekend is over! Back to work tomorrow?! Is that welcome?! I have to ask that question to myself. Like yesterday, today it all stayed very quiet. No movies or any other entertainment. Really.
Why no plans?! How about girlfriend?! Is that already over?! Nope. Hope that isn't true. The fact is that she had some other plan with some other friends from Friday. She then went on trip - means out of town!
Blank CD-R disks bought and I should go under some project. Will be a little bit busier.

August 10 2002 = Cool Saturday |
All day... full of baseball! I stayed tuned to National Channel to catch up with the High School Baseball Championship. Actually 4 games! Man, all remind me of old days while in high school. Just like them... I was one of them.
Very exciting and it was hot even though my room temperature was quite low. Hehehe.

Stayed at work until 8:30pm... I now really have to watch my over-time hours! Man, I should recount and make sure that I follow it up.
No plans for weekend... I know, I want to catch up with good sleep. Most certainly will stay inside... and remain cool!

August 8 2002 =Rough? |
Having great time yesterday... and then having a bitter day today!? That's so right?! Hmmmmm.
Stayed cool inside the office in the morning and turned out hot and humid afternoon for myself. Man, I shouldn't have gone out! Well, too bad... that I have to face up to new budget into new fiscal year starting next month... cannot procrastinate much for now. I should hurry to collect all information and sell businesses!
2 appointments and I usually could go back to office around 5pm or so... though, I came back around 7pm. Yeah, totally out of control from several meetings.
Lunch - some small lunch box
Dinner - at Mos Burger, Japanese style fast foods (still hamburger with salad)
Well, too hot during the night, too. That's why lack of sleep... almost everyday and I don't have much energy left. I should rest.
Yoshio Iimura has committed an international crime?! How come?! Report and update needed here! Throw me bones, will ya!
National Championship of High School Baseball started today. Lots of cheering and lots of sweat... and lots of tears. Really moving me.

August 7 2002 =Gathering with Miss Lucky |
LtoR> Kirk, Tak, Lucky, and Yasuko
Now shown in picture and still with us then >>> Amy and Tetsuji Fukui
Man, it was fun night?! Am sure it was for those who were with my girlfriend Lucky. To meet her for the first time, it must be very interesting opportunity to ask any question.
Seemed that Lucky herself made friends with each one of them and Amy, Yasuko, and she made a promise that they would spend a weekend together for some activity. Is that turning out good for me?! Am I included in that planning?! I should double check!
Oops, sorry no larger image available this time! Hahaha.

August 6 2002 =57th |
Hottest day in this summer! Recorded high today above 100 degrees! No way!
Anyway, you know about August 6?! Today it was the 57th Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Memorial. Yeah, we know - there is a symbol of damage as a result of World War II and worst time in Japan's history.
Amen.
Today - not only taking care of customers and their demands, but also I had to deal with figures... toward next fiscal year! Yeah, time for new budget. Not really healthy thing for me. Why?! As you know, my performance directly influences to my bonus as well as monthly pay. Mean, my result drives my life toward better or worse.
The figures given by management seemed to me like a in dream world. NOT practical?! Who knows, I can do fantastic job to make it happen?! Please remember, I am not great salesman. Just mere pay check player... if I don't have to work, I don't do work. Hahaha. Oh yeah, I just wait that other sales staff covers me with better numbers! That's the best way to go! Easiest, too.
Man, who can stop this plunge - out-of-control situation in world's stock markets! Hey, I suffer myself there, too! What shall I do to prevent further pain in my neck?! Just sell it all?!
My girlfriend will be go on trip for this weekend?! From Friday through Sunday?! How about me?! Isn't she forgetting about me?! By the way, with whom is she going?! Most importantly, are we really going out at this moment?!

August 5 2002 =Hectic Monday |
Easy Monday?! NOT quite, folks! It was indeed hectic. Started a day with going to new client's place. Then, came up to work in the office. Lots of stuff left over. I felt really stressed and wanted to quit! Sometimes, continue working is like killing me with hard pain.
You know what?! Skipped lunch. That makes all worse?!
Came home around 8pm. Ate in the nearby restaurant for supper. Then, keep watching TV. One program really caught my attention. "When a man is quitting the company." Wow, that was definitely interesting. Some guy came to new place as being head-hunted - then came to a tough time with existing company's philosophy. Man, moving from a company to another one isn't that easy in this country. I learned.
Friend Lindo (female) sent me a congratulation on having a girlfriend. Thank you!
Kack (another female) suddenly back in touch with me. Still likes to pick on me?!
Finally found that Austin Power 3 comes to theaters on 8/24 in Japan! Man, that weekend, I will be out of town! Due to company's annual event. Oh I should be back in Sunday afternoon on that weekend from the place for the event. Could be seeing that evening?! I should schedule that with girlfriend?! Wait, would she like to see that kind of stupid movie?! Maybe, that would become a disappointment toward seeing me?! Weird kind of taste?! I should reconsider whole thing?!
Almost in 10 days when friend Charlie comes home!

August 4 2002 =Monster's Ball |
Tak is fan of Halle Barry? Well, cannot deny that! Definitely she's beautiful. FINALLY, I saw the movie which she won the Academy Award... "Monster's Ball." In fact, I didn't do the homework and I didn't see much the theme of movie beforehand. Oh boy, didn't know that it was very heavy significant toward race and life value.
You know what? I took my girlfriend to see that movie together. Maybe too shocking about sexuality?! Perhaps so. Oops.
Anyway, Tak's rating for that movie is somewhere around a solid A. If you haven't seen it... you should. Though if you feel down, don't even think about choosing this one to kill your time. That turns out worst for sure. Just too heavy and deep material.
Now watching some documentary program on TV - about those young ladies deal stocks as investment... man, some girl doesn't know how to read the charts and spends lots of money for some brand. Gee... that makes me feel chill. Oh boy!
One of ladies lost more than 2,000 dollars... oh gee.
Finally - weekend is over and what have I done?! At least laundry. Hahaha.
Breakfast skipped. Lunch skipped, too. Finally as first time to eat for today - Ginza's Mugen Ramen. Right after movie. It wasn't that bad. First time for me to eat in that place and first time for my girlfriend to eat Ramen noodles for such a long time! That's interesting. Yeah, she lives with her family and don't stop by any Ramen place like singles.
Well, let's take it all easy for new week... just began.

August 3 2002 =Stay Cool |
Easy Saturday. At least laundry is done. Otherwise, stayed cool under AC! That's most important for this kind of HOT season. Really. I didn't go out and watched several movies.
No big meals.
I tried to do some backup from all past photos taken by digital camera... and found out that there was no blank CD-R disks for it. Gee, I have to go shopping for that?! Well, I don't think that there is some room in my budget. Maybe next month... or one after.

August 2 2002 =Some Party |
Some party held for Yoshida - new comer to our department, replacing Odabi... who just left from us. The party was for those two ladies... to welcome and to farewell. Unfortunately, those two deleted their pictures from my camera INTENTIONALLY. Anyway, here are some shots:
L> Hiroki Arahata (male) with Asaka Kono (female) R> Okada and special guest dog Taro
L> Takezaki (male) with Kaori Hanaki (female) R> Boss Ito wanted a kiss from dog?! New trend?

August 1 2002 =Summer Dream |
Busy throughout the day. Man, I found that trains for work weren't on schedule. Delay really irritated people at the station and I felt that I could be late to important meeting. Well, I made it. Safe.
Work isn't that big deal. Big deal was of lunch. Free lunch. Hahaha. Went to "Shin Fu Rou" Chinese Restaurant in Aoyama - very fancy place. Why?! With whom? Well, I thought that I would be able to deserve something rich like that. Hahaha.
Very unique noodles were famous there and I didn't hesitate to take that dish. Since it was hot outside, I chose cold noodles. $15 for that dish... notably for lunch! Definitely expensive. So?
Thank God --- now weather forecast said that it wouldn't be that hot for a while from tomorrow on. Yeah, this kind of hot weather isn't that usual. Sickening.
When coming home tonight... a little earlier than any other day in this week - I came to find a greatness. (Pro baseball) Kenshin Kawakami of Dragons (my favorite pitcher) just did complete game with NO HITTER! Great! Awesome! Almost perfect since he just gave one walk! Man, it was fantastic game.
Good Chinese and perfect ball game... made my day. Now just Friday is there... Let's move on quick toward weekend, folks! I will.
