Tak's Milestone: November, 2002

November 30, 2002 =End of 11th Month of Year!

Already last day of November. Have you accomplished any yet? About coming to do so?! Please ask yourself what was your resolutions for this year?! Well, am sure that I DO NEVER WANT to do so to myself. Very smart, telling you so and never to myself. Tak-ism.

Went out to see girlfriend in early evening. Just for dinner and movie.

Didn't know "desserts" were part of agenda... Hahaha!

Dinner was some SOBA noodles. Not that big deal. Right?! I thought so. And movie... not "Minority Report" yet and my choice was, of course, "Changing Lanes."

Movie with Ben Affleck and Samuel L. Jackson.

Pretty good movie... 2 lives with bright and dark side of human life. Not right or wrong. Just how it goes and how it should go. That kind of stuff. Like that movie pretty well. I can give an A- for this movie. Worth to see and learn something from it.

Haven't seen it? Go Blockbusters.

Tired. Good night.

November 29, 2002 =Farewell, Ken Kanegawa!

Man, this week wasn't that easy for me and tonight, it was quite typical for me... the deal was like I was every exclusive to one single customer... for everything from A to Z including BABYSITTING! Hey, I was sales... going OUTSIDE. Leave me alone, will ya!

It was way passed 10pm by the time I was leaving the office. No way to make 1st part of party... farewell party for Ken Kanegawa who recently retired from work! Good for him. I wish I were in the same situation. I know, cannot be happening to me yet. I am eager to short time for work so that I can retire sooner.

Ken Kanegawa (right)

So I don't have that many pictures taken... since I joined 2nd party where not all attendees to main part were there and gone already home. Anyway, at least I showed my honor to the guest for tonight.

Some minor guest found, too. Though, mostly participating in being asleep.

And some never WANTED to be taken picture.

Laughing to the death. That might be dangerous?

Not everyone drinking... some like Mori busy cleaning around!

This is typical snap shot of Japanese friends... right?

Haven't seen him in Atlanta area?

Well, because he's been hiding in Japan.

Please forward me any message with reward information.

Too bad, I joined them too late... means shorted time to enjoy all with them. Another words to say... I didn't get a big chance to drink big! Hahaha.

November 28, 2002 =Thanksgiving!

More than 300 points up in Tokyo Stock Market... this upward surprise is a part of American celebration on Thanksgiving?! Well, difficult to say so now. Though, really made lots of people (mostly investors) feel a little more confident about recovery from procrastinating slowed-down economy... at least more than yesterday or so.

Anyway... HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Lots of turkey meat? Man, how come I ate Ramen noodle for supper? Hmmmm. Left work about 8:30pm. Not that bad compared to recent pattern.

Do need a rest. How about cappuccino? From Pret near Hamamatsu Station.

Like that little decoration of star made with cinnamon.

More than 3 quotes submitted to clients today. 1 appointment with Boss Ito. How many phone calls? Quite many... don't know exact number. Anyway, still my busy time keeps itself at high level. I need to slow down a little bit. Good news... is that I don't expect many inquiries from coworkers over US.

So I should cut out tomorrow short. Don't you agree?

Oh, I should put up another picture...

TUMI Wheel-A-Way 24" Packing Case

More than 1,000 bucks!

Cannot afford this...

Why now packing case like that? Sure, I do have one... of course, different (much much much cheaper) brand. I just thought that it would be good idea to have this kind of stuff for whoever going on biz trip for a long time... let's say 10 to 12 days?

Gee, am I talking about my boss? Supposedly going to Los Angeles and San Diego? Hahaha. Can he afford such thing like that? Sure, no problem.

23:32

November 27, 2002 =Day Before Thanksgiving...

Most definitely... you NEVER even think about how hard you have to work for today... am I correct or what?! Hey, day before Thanksgiving... the beginning of holiday season. Am sure that you now really think such yummy turkey, etc.

Me? Hey, you don't have to remind me of great old days in America! There is no such thing here. Means, we work through and nothing really happens here. Sucks, huh. Does!

Or maybe I should do on my celebration here? Like stop taking all appointments and refuse taking calls? What Boss Ito would think of me doing them? Well, I don't want precise picture in doing such. Anyway, I wish I could go lazy... as much as possible!

Left work late. Not bad as last night... though, all of sales staff members, Mori, Yasuko, and I myself... were still there... like 9:30pm... then, we decided to move on for eat and some sales issue to go over at the same time. Smart? Well, it was okay... eating and working (with some beer).

I do admit that I am quite behind... lots of inquiries and I need MORE TIME to do all catchups. Seriously. I submitted more than several quotes within single working day and still more requests are with me. Good stuff? Sure... though, I don't want all at a time!!! I do scream for help at work... well, almost.

Two more days. Thursday and Friday. Hmmmm, I have to double-check what to do before weekend. And then, I need to sleep as long as needed to my body. Yeah, indeed.

Good night.

November 26, 2002 =Working Tooo Late

Nice winter day. Very cool, but fine sunshine... I should've enjoyed such beautiful day like today. Yeah, I mean really that I should have. Means what?! Truth, I couldn't afford myself to such luxury. Truly.

Came home late. Latest in recent days. In fact, left work about 11pm and came home just now... a little before the midnight. Tired. Very.

Good working day?! Well, tough to define. Two appointments and last one was hard... harder than expected. Lots of homework to take with myself from that. I should be busier from tomorrow on? In fact, homework is something like sticking to my head --- almost headache. Gee, not really healthy way of life!

At least, I should mention something funny here... don't you think I owe yo one here?! Okay, then.

Boss Ito and I went out for 1st appointment in the morning. Went fine. No homework there. Then, it was about lunch time when finished. So both of us agreed each other to go on for eat.

Found one restaurant before hitting train back to the office. Then, we ate. Japanese dishes. Fish. Mine was "simmered mackerel in miso." Was great stuff.

Then what happened? Time to pay the bill and get out of there, huh. I didn't have problem... at all. But Boss Ito did. He didn't carry any cash! Oh boy! No money whatsoever. So he owed me some money there. He always make fun of me being such cash-short time-to-time. He cannot do so any longer! Was very surprising since he seemed rich... at least so in terms of public opinion at work. Hahaha. I did laugh at him. Well, my review was recently done!

007 Die Another Day --- have you seen it? Goes quite well in box office sales, huh! Cannot wait!!! Still no announcement regarding to opening date in Japan. Shoot.

November 25, 2002 =Coffee, Please?

Pay day! Yeah, 25th of the month... month to month. Good one?! Hey, doesn't make much difference every time. So my life doesn't have any positive or negative impart in terms of getting paid.

Coffee?

As far as I remember... 2 in the morning at my desk. Another at client A in Minamisunamachi - then, bought a canned coffee (hot one) at the Toda Kita Station while waiting for Boss Ito to go on an appointment. Within that appointment at client P with Boss Ito, one more cup of coffee offered and taken. Gee, how many then in total? 5 cups of coffee, huh.

Wait, after the appointment, Boss Ito and I had recap meeting in nearby cafe with some doughnuts. Caffeine with sugar? Yep. So total... 6 cups of coffee! Man, I won't get to a good sleep tonight?! Am I that high now?! Hahaha.

Well, easily Monday is over. Seemed my schedule for this week is pretty tight.

Came home around 8:30pm.

Watching TV thereafter... at the same time, I was trying to fix Lindo's PowerBook. Man, still cannot figure out what goes wrong with this machine. Same model as mine. Doesn't function same. Gee.

23:54

November 24, 2002 =Not Fun?

So weekend is over. Now ready for new week... not quite ready yet. I was up around 9am... then went out to Chiba for last part of date in this weekend.

Cold... and MoonFlower and I just hang around and didn't do much. In fact, we didn't even go to movie. So didn't see "Changing the Lanes."

Oh, I should share this picture with you... you must have been curious what quality comes with the digital camera integrated in the new cellular phone. Here it is:

Not that bad, huh. This is the small size, still.

Surprisingly good, huh. Yeah, I agree. The camera holds up to 31,000 pixels in an image. Compared to other major cellular phones which have up to 11,000 pixels, the quality of photo from cellular phone will be enough for this web page to show to ya. Don't you agree?

23:25

November 23, 2002 =New Check Point in Tokyo

Cloudy day as the first part of my weekend. Not really good to deal with like that. Girlfriend and I decided NOT to go any distance. Rather, we decided to stay around. It was within Tokyo... in fact... we went to see some tall building with decent popularity.

So-called "Maru Building."

Tall Xmas tree there... Can you see so many visitors inside?!

Maru Building is business complex with tons of shops and restaurant. "Xbox cafe" is also there. Yeah, you can eat sitting in sofa and you can even play Xbox there... Interesting, huh.

Then, moved on to Ginza... coffee and some shopping. It was easy date.

November 22, 2002 =New Cellular Phone

As told you yesterday --- here is snaps of my new phone going everywhere with me!

Model: Docomo SH251iS

This phone came on sale just a week ago or so. Yeah, brand new! How come I could afford it? I am not quite able to. Taking advantage of "power of plastics" - yes, definitely. Wise consumer?! I wish. Due to no proper function of old cellular phone, I had no choice to go for something came along with my preference.

How much? About $300! By Sharp.

Displays in 65,000 colors!

Closed style. 2nd display outside.

Do you like it? For me, oh, it's the BEST. I really love this little stuff. Make sure that I will NEVER drop this... Hold on to the short strap attached!

1:23+2

November 21, 2002 =Drinks

Good evening, folks. Yeah, Thursday drink... with client Y for tonight. Good kind of drinks. Fun with two from that company... and both are readers of my web page. Interesting, huh. All clients of mine do know about this?! Not quite. I always watch what range of understanding about humor that person (whom I don't know much... only through work) does have; then I can tell only when he or she asks me about my personal life, etc. Yeah, I am quite careful about what to tell and not.

Anyway, my favorite customer tonight.

They are quite excited to be on here. Really!
L to R> Tak,
Mr. Tamura, and (cute) Miss Hongo

Gee, I was told that she was now engaged. Well as far as I know, it wasn't me. Yeah, she is cute for sure, isn't she. That is WHY my favorite customer?! Well, could be.

Another good stuff... tonight's spending... went under budget. Good for me.

Not only the dinner party... I went up to see friend Amy over lunch. It was Japanese dish.

A week away from Thanksgiving... Did you get air tickets for going home next week?!

Another news to share with ya --- new cellular phone. From Sharp. With digital camera integrated. I will come with more details tomorrow or so. I don't have much energy left to tell you about it. Plus, I will change my cellular phone email address from "ogakijin@docomo.ne.jp" to something else. I don't come up with good one yet.

3rd cellular phone within 2 years! Wow, that's not quite good.

Still somewhat drunk. Feel pretty good!

23:19

November 20, 2002 =Same Laptop?

Two laptops... identical, huh!

All right, Wednesday done! 2 more days to go. From this morning, I was busy out going one appointment to another. Cold... I felt it was quite chilly and wanted to rather stay inside! I wish.

Look at that picture there. Two computers here. Starting some repair work from tonight for friend Lindo. Her computer has some problem and I am asked to look after it. Her's indeed better in specification compared to mine.

I cannot diagnose exactly what goes wrong with that piece of hardware.

When in Atlanta, I made some extra cash in doing such things like that. Yeah, besides my primary employment... which is being lazy and being company's mascot like am today!

Forgot to mention... the display of my cellular phone is dead now and I cannot see any email messages to my phone. No display whatsoever... left your message? Yet, cannot see so. So what would I do... for now I automatically miss all messages like some gal out there called me to come out that she likes me, etc. Gee, THAT is problem. More than anything, don't you think? I might miss a call about I won some prize? Hmmmm.

Too much to think.

Anyway, try NOT to send any messages to my phone. Send to regular address, instead. Please.

23:32

November 19, 2002 =Yellow Leaves

- from the street near the Denenchofu Station -

Chilly and heat is on... definitely the winter is right there... as well as Thanksgiving. I cannot stand without heat for tonight. I didn't turn it on last night, though.

My day started in Denenchofu... very rich place. To meet a prospective client. It went well. Quite well. Then, look at that photo! Very nice yellow leaves. Indeed Fall is here.

Italian dish for lunch. In the same place. Yeah, a little rich feeling for me, too.

Did you know that Clinton was in Japan?! Well, no one seemed paid attention to his arrival... since big star, at the same time, came to Japan. Who? Well, I don't care much. It's Leo... Leonardo DiCaprio. Who cares, huh! I don't!

Anyway, both of those celebrities are here in Japan.

From tomorrow, I've got a new job in addition to regular work... I have to fix Lindo's PowerBook. I have to reinstall all software. That's the mission. My work for that is still FREE (of charge). Am I nice or what?!

Supper - sandwiches.

Left work around 8pm... an hour later than planned. Wanted to come home early... though, in vain... to even wish about it. Still Tuesday... and 3 more working days left. Still long way to go! More than several appointments within tomorrow. So it should pass all quick... without any problem... I hope.

Did you like the photo above? Sure hope so.

Queen Elizabeth showed up to the premiere of "007 Die Another Day," huh. Too much for her. She doesn't need to see any man flirting around girls like that! That's too vivid and not good for such old lady!

23:39

November 18, 2002 =Sort Behaving Kid

Yeah, I was quiet and well-behaved. At work. Didn't want to go out for any appointment since the weather was not that warm kind. So you can tell me that I was wise... While other sales staff members were out eager for new and another businesses.

What would make a difference?! At least, nothing change in myself... L A Z Y.

All day long, didn't go out at all as I said. Very stubborn, huh. Yeah, I know! (I admit that all ex's did tell me so--- no matter what!)

Still suffering a little from inveterate cold. Man, this is bad. I don't want to cough anymore. Would you want to take mine over?! Be my guest! (seriously)

Boss Ito gave me the result of preview just done for last 6 moth performance due for winter bonus. 100 point scale... did come to please me?! What would you think? Well, more than half of entire figures is driven by the sales result. Then some just affect like how much expertise or experience built for better service, etc. Plus, attitude toward being better or creative about new kind of service, capability of good business planning, etc.

Well, I cannot share my score with you... since lots of coworkers do read here... Plus, boss warned me not to disclose my number! Well, that's quite tight. Hehehe.

Thanksgiving is around the corner... means Holiday Season! Man, I have to look around for Christmas decoration... and I should put up my Christmas tree... on this web site. Hahaha, got ya! For your note, I don't have such luxury about decorating my apartment room like that. Even though Boss Ito were giving me good number for better bonus...

Please note that I may not get richer at all after this bonus. Still cannot afford one refrigerator for my place.

23:09

November 17, 2002 =No Movies for Weekend

No movies for this weekend, folks. How about you?! Well, 20th in UK and 22nd in US... Yep, "Die Another Day." I feel like I would like to fly over to US for that movie. Yeah, could be movie for MY year! Exaggerated?! Well, you could say so. Though, I might be that serious?! Hmmmm. Who knows!

Oh please report to me if you see "007 - Die Another Day" on opening day! Need to know how that movie turn out. Dying to know that!

Elton John is on Ally McBeal in Japan. Yeah, that drama is still around in Japan. As you know, my favorite. Currently 5th season (last one) is going on here. On national television channel.

Spaghetti for lunch

McDonald's for supper

Very easy and unhealthy?! Shhhhh.

Worked a little. Talked to client at this late evening. Well, I might be extremely busy for new week? Boss Ito has called me up for some gathering on serious biz talk for the 1st thing in the morning tomorrow? Oh boy. Full of agenda?!

Good night.

23:58

November 16, 2002 ="Oden" Dish

Pretty much no activity for Saturday. Except going to Chiba (once again) for a date. Two days in a row?! Seriously in love?! Well, that's too early to tell. Would have better say as "Don't Tell" and "Don't Ask?"

Went out to Chiba just for dinner with her. Not big deal, huh. Yep, pretty much it.

Restaurant Den-Den in Chiba - for "Oden" dishes. Oden is a typical winter dish for family in Japan. Definitely part of my favorites. Good stuff to eat and make me fat! Well, it is not greasy kind food anyway... no worry.

Then, two cups of coffee did go along with chat up to last train for the day. Well, practically I HATE to take last trains... because I don't want to miss connection or any kind of bad combination troubling me going home. No way to take taxi for me anytime. Cannot afford such luxury, either. Anyway, I came home right after midnight. Not bad.

No work home today. Sure, no one can blame me for it.

Midnight laundry is found popular. Finished mine about 3pm and still others working on it. Interesting.

23:44+1

November 15, 2002 =Late to the Date

Busy day?! Pretty much and worst part was that I came late to see girlfriend. Was she angry because she had to wait longer than expected without single call from myself? I know, it's my bad. She was off and I was on duty... precisely I was with client. One of MOST IMPORTANT clients... and deal was made!

So good news first and nightmare after. Well, she wasn't that ugly... reasonably understanding of my work. Thank God... she was quite mature in her expectation of my work. Though... still now I feel so guilty. I should do something to make up to her.

Good part is of course of new business. Two from Narita Office and one more from Hamamatsu... joined force to back me up in that meeting for all afternoon. Turned out good outcome and deal is made. Pretty good, huh... And, once again, I didn't even think about how that evening would turn out to be. Just meeting and recap took long time. Longer than I thought. Underestimated.

Anyway, weekend.

14:31+1

November 14, 2002 =Good Day?

Hi, folks. Yeah, Thursday is over... and Friday is due up. Yep! What would you think? What I only think about is how to make my Friday as shortest and quickest as possible! Smart, huh. Yeah, no doubt about my sneaky kind of behavior.

Sometimes, I am smart like hell.

Wow, GOOD surprise. BOND is here... on TV. This time, NOT James Bond. Just "bond." Classic music ladies... hey, I didn't know that now four of them?! I thought that there were only three. Well, more members with such sexy legs, definitely better. Though, the point is... NEVER BE ENOUGH.

You can imagine... am nearsighted and usually don't wear glasses home in watching TV. However, for now, time to make this exception. I have to see gals in clarity! Hahaha. Am so great and fun.

Hahaha., what an irony... one of gals just played a music... Theme Song of James Bond. Funny. Came to think of it... bond should be on its tour over Japan? Man, I missed it out. I should check some places for any tickets left over?! Hammy... that could be too late.

My day didn't go quite flat. 4pm appointment was tough to deal with for me. Since customer was angry with services... and I didn't have any good hands to clam him down. Though somewhat, I managed the meeting and it was over after an hour or so seeing his difficult face.

Otherwise, it was okay. As busy as yesterday it was. Good thing is that I don't deal with anything for tonight...

Boss Ito's first word to me in the morning... "Tak, did you gain some?" NO WAY! Well, either he is no longer my boss... or he doesn't want me to dedicate work for his department? Hmmmm, don't know which comes first... or both may be untrue. Or just he is nearsighted too? Needs to check his vision? Hahaha.

Tomorrow, internal meeting in the morning and I will be with client for a big meeting for entire afternoon. That should be it for tomorrow. How about that!

22:41

November 13, 2002 =Need Me That Much?

Japan's baseball came to a hot time... after the season. From today, it's free competition for all Free Agents. Two big star players... "Godilla" Hideki Matsui from Tokyo Giants and "Blonde-hair" Nori Nakamura from Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes.

Matsui even sent letters to all 30 ball clubs of Major Leagues... as per the media for today. Wow, he doesn't have any representation like agent at all. At least so for now.

I should offer to represent him?

And Atlanta Braves now approaching to one of Japanese players (pitcher) who enrolled FA list? Wow, that's surprising.

I have to disclose come correction on this web page. I told friend Kelly gave a birth to... NOT YET. Gee, I was mislead to that information? Anyway, she will (at least so I thought) do so... due in March! Confirmed girl. NOT mine for sure. Hahaha.

Mine has been hidden?! I don't know! I don't think I have done any wrong doing... so far.

Tak's today... full of customer service... I mean, really hard working on solving many issues. In fact, I am still working on two things tonight. Yeah, I mean right NOW... at this moment home! I have to call Germany and US after this.

For your information, definitely NO PAY for this extra work home. Just damn volunteer. To save MY customers... yep, that's all.

Showed up to new (potential) customer in the afternoon. Meeting turned out a little intro of this web page. I usually don't tell new people of my kind personal stuff like that... just only when I feel like someone facing me would have good understanding of "my kind" of humor. Got it?

Well, hope I gained one more readers then. Who knows... maybe more?

Two more days for weekend, folks. Almost. A little more. Yeah, will be soon.

23:09

November 12, 2002 =No Paid Dinner?

Barely made that Tuesday was now over. Oh boy, I was busy! Didn't know that it would become such tough... I was exhausted at the last meeting with client... who told me that I was looked tired with no much concentration.

Did start today in the office... then decided to go out to look for some box went to wrong party. Since no telephone number was not right, I didn't have choice but went out to visit to the site. No appointment, of course. Boy I was treated at the lobby very COLD. Receptionist wouldn't allow anyone to contact inside since no appointment or specific name as contact. Hmmmm.

Anyway, I took a while there and managed to get in. Thank God. Then finally, I came up to the person in charge for a talk and dealt with him for immediate resolution. Seemed that we could get out of tight situation... so one concern is to be off the list.

Then two more appointments afterwards. Plus, weekly sales report was due today. Kindly reminded by Boss Ito with a single phone call while I was out for appointments. Hmmmm, I must be under such surveillance? Hahaha.

Final meeting with client was from 6pm... done by 7pm. Supposedly drinks and dinner with same client... came to a cancellation because the client was busy with some issue to resolve. So the dinner (entertainment) was rescheduled toward next week.

So to be exact... I moved from office to Shibuya, Ueno, and then Asakusa-bashi. No doubt that I made my report delivered to Boss Ito on time! Yeah, I cannot let myself down.

Oh talking about dinner... should've been covered by expense. Became all on my own! Hahaha.

Came home and started working on three laptops at a time. One for work... recharging. The other two... I was busy transferring all email addresses from old one to current PowerBook. Now, my chatting list has more names on it. I may suddenly speak to you when coming on line!

Good night.

22:59

November 11, 2002 =Easy Monday?

Fine weather and mild climate... wow, storm over Georgia and some got killed?! Lost home?! Gee, that's too bad. Hope none of those who I know won't be victimized.

Usual Monday... I was quite sleepy head. Lowered productivity?! What would you think? I was okay... made more than a dozen of phone calls and made several appointments for this week. Yeah, I would be busier. Wait, I was still coughing... not totally recovered yet?

No longer taking cold medicine, though.

Unusually, laundry is taken care today. Yeah, Monday night. Since I missed time for it over this past weekend. Yeah, too much fun, right.

Not much appetite. Am not getting back to be sick, am I?

Well, will be a busier tomorrow for sure... I may even go out with customer for drinks after work. How about that!

2nd game between All Japan vs. All Major Leagues tonight. Can you believe that Japan edged Major Leagues 2 games in a row! We're better! Not politics, I am talking about. Just ball game. Hahaha.

Good night.

23:49

November 10, 2002 =Where in the Hell?

Okay - weekend is OVER. And where in the hell was Tak for today?!

Tunnel - driving?! (Whose car?)

Marathon?! In where? Did Tak run? (hell no!)

Ocean?

Meat shop? Pekin Duck?

Chinese Gate? Sightseeing? Famous tourist place?

New Mall? "Red Brick Mall."

Up to night?! Said 5:42pm... Hmmmm.

And whose legs?

For today's update, I let you create own story about my day! How about that!

Another news to let you know. Friend Kelly Ron - now Kelly Sugden gave a birth to a baby GIRL! Congrats! Named as Audrey... not yet about middle name. How about "Tak"?! Oh, that's not for girl. Especially cute one. Hahaha.

November 9, 2002 =Wedding Party

Wedding Party for Yasuko Funabashi. Now, Yasuko Ishiyama to be exact. Coworker of mine and good friend of mine, too. As you have read, she recently got married with handsome man. Wedding itself took place in Hawaii and it was wedding party tonight and I was one of them came with invitation. I should put much words here. Rather, just let you see.

Yasuko (pointed by arrow) when in kindergarten.
(Another) Coworker Tetsuji Fukui in send row in the middle (in white shirts)

Married in October - Hawaii, USA (sorry, quite vague...)

Wow, handsome "MR. RIGHT." Hirokazu Ishiyama.

2nd time?! Knife into the cake.

See the ring in finger?! (barely see it?)

Upper Row> Fukui, Hirata, and Fukami

Lower Row> Hanaki, Fujiwara (daughter), and Fujiwara (mother)

November 8, 2002 =News from Friend

Hi, folks. Exhausted. Totally recovered from recent sickness?! Man, it's still around. Don't know how to get rid of it completely. It might take a while. Still keep taking cold medicine... dying to take care of myself so well.

News... sort of hidden secret it was. Hiroshi Kuboki recently became father... it was baby girl! Named Ayuka. Good for him... congrats!

Somewhat he was extremely concerned and didn't like to spread such good news... he was afraid of some low percentage issue if the pregnancy would be failure or something. Reasonably understanding. Now baby and mother are fine and great to share such news with us.

Uhhh, that's all for today. Came home around 8pm and spent my time quietly and ready for party tomorrow?! Pretty much.

0:49+2

November 7, 2002 =Chilly

Chilly. Suddenly this cold?! Oh boy.

Today's visitor to Tak: HARUO YAGYU

From next week, this cute(?) gentleman will be transferred to another position and today came up to Tokyo Office to say good-bye to everyone including myself.

Yes, he is young and handsome?! (don't know about that) And he's still available to the market (i.e. single). Please send me personal check with $25 payable to me... then you will be heard from me with his personal contact. Thank you.

Some rumor was all over the company today... regarding to my resignation? Who would get that lucky?! Not quite yet... unless the management even tries to leave me out of employment. I know, am quite pain to this organization! Hahaha, just kidding.

Hey, rumor isn't good stuff... I surely like GOSSIPS (all kinds), though. Hahaha. What is the difference, by the way?!

Left work around 7pm... since I didn't want to stay late at work... no matter what... since Boss Ito was quite upset with me since I broke some rule... that really hit him so hard. By mistake (in some calculation), my overtime for last month exceeded 35 hours! Man, didn't realize it by the time of submission.

Now you can tell that I am really trouble maker?!

Tak's dinner: just some sweet - some kind of extreme diet?

23:09

November 6, 2002 =Bush Got Pushed by America?

The Mid-Term Election ends and I just found out that Roy Burns lost his way back to the office of Governor... the State of Georgia. Seemed (and really was) bad politician? Well, that was affirmative in response of GA voters... huh. Well, President Bush got fully supported to move on to 2nd phase about sending boys to Iraq soon. And hope that he would send clear message to give incentives to the economy which had been slowed down quite bit.

Did you go to vote?

Tak's working task became so domestic for all day long today. Didn't expect to. Though, too many files to be taken care due today. Suddenly. Boss Ito needed to have summary of sales activity in order for him to come up with review for winter bonus due 1st week of December. Am I in good shape? You think? I wish! Well, I am okay.

At least I can maintain my employment there for sure... at least for a while, hehehe.

Well, 2 more days for another weekend. Wedding party for Yasuko Funabashi is to be held in Saturday evening. Yes, I am planning to attend to. I may go to driving range, again? Hope so... need more exercise. Sunday will be time to be flexible.

Continued from last night... photos from 1997 to 1999 were all downloaded to local hard drive and were converted to JPEG format from unique code. Man, it was like flipping pages over in photo album. See?

Chatted with my girlfriend agian?!

Good night.

November 5, 2002 =Photos from 1996?

Hi, folks. Busy out there for today?! Just like me, huh. Well, always tough after vacation time, don't you agree? It wasn't just for me... but for everyone since long weekend just like you know.

And Boss Ito came up to me with difficult face. Man, it wasn't my fault... he knew... though, he had to do that facial expression since nowhere else to go like that. Poor thing.

Well, the issue with him was taken care... since I presided a meeting for solution. Hope he did like what he saw from the meeting.

Was quite busy today?! In reality, it was okay... and left work around 8pm. Not bad... by recent measurement. Supposedly leaving office much earlier! Anyway...

After coming home, usual computing... and I started something I wanted to do long time ago. I brought up old ZIP disk and copied all photo images from year 1996! More... from 1997 through 2001! Yeah, I have all digital images of all those years.

You know what?! My first digital camera... it was in 1996! So now more than 2000 photos in my local drive. Impressive?! I have some photos from college in Virginia and old apartment in Georgia, etc. Interesting, huh. No wonder that I started working on this update later than usual. I was glued to what I was doing.

You want to see some shots from then?! Well, I have to choose what to show... I will be careful in choosing... maybe you can see some in a while... quite soon?

Nikkei Business magazine - I used to be a subscriber while in US... spent quite bit of money to subscribe such expensive magazine from Japan at that time. Now I came back to be the same... without paying all. Now all reading for free since my department decided to do so for us. Thanks to Boss Ito.

So I won't be bored in train anymore.

November 4, 2002 =Okay, Now All Over...

Well, all now come to an end. Really. Little vacation time is now indeed over. Too bad for such short time and I was half sickened. Hmmmm, not really perfect time to enjoy myself... much.

Stayed home pretty much. Bad weather?! Well, wind chill was quite bit there; otherwise, it was quite nice day! I just wanted to stay clam in order to cut out all bad time with sickness and get ready for hard work expected from tomorrow on. So I was wise, you think?!

Watching TV or listening to CDs like Faith Hill or Britney Spears.

Being quite late about this update?! Oh sorry. No responses on company's email?! Sure, I just read them... yeah, all of them. Though, didn't reply unless really needed to for the moment. Am sure that you would do same if were me in such situation.

My apartment room is now neat... very organized and notably clean! As a result of all efforts made through this morning... yeah, it was worth doing so. I like clean place and my place wasn't like that for a while. Longer than I thought it would be. Hahaha. Though, now I can welcome any guest to home!

Please note that there are no furniture.

Plus, no refrigerators. Thank you!

November 3, 2002 =3rd Day... 2 Days to Go

Still somewhat coughing... though, I seemed pretty much okay.

Last part of date with MoonFlower over this weekend took place in Kanda. Didn't know that the fair of used and classic books was held there and bunch of people. Man, so crowded.

Looking for any book in particular?! Quite opposite. I wanted to drop by and walk around. She wasn't looking for any, either. Then, finally got to place for lunch.

Then walked on and eventually got to Akihabara. Now, it became my turn?! She kept asking... that it was really my kind of place and I could go anywhere I wanted! Hohoho. Surely did check something I wanted. Plus, looking for a battery to my laptop. Too bad that no inventory. Out of luck. Price?! About 200 bucks. No kidding, too expensive.

No movies. Probably won't see any for a while until "Changing Lanes," rather... James Bond... or Charlie's Angels hit theaters around.

Laundry is done. Will clean room tomorrow.

November 2, 2002 =Okay, 2nd Day of Little Holidays

Yep, 2nd day came with fine weather. Seemed a little cold climate, though. Yeah, it was... I felt once I went outside. Sickness was still with me... however decided to go out to see girl. Of course, I was nice and kind.

Place taken was in Chiba-City. First time ever visited. About 40 minutes or so from Urayasu. Not bad at all. Since she has some other things to do prior to the date, we saw each other in late afternoon.

Dinner with beer. Some pizza and shrimps. Pretty good.

Movie, too. Not much choice then. Though, tonight's pick was "Road to Perdition." By Tom Hanks. Did she like it?! I was told she did like it. For me, the story wasn't that complicated and ending was easily figured out. Tom's performance was exceptionally great as usual. Though, kid actor played Michael - okay. Well, I have better to say that it would come close to the Academy... very close. Though, won't be good enough to make it.

Tak's rating on "Road to Perdition" --- B-

Film was done well in monotone. I like the darkness in the movie. It was pretty cool.

Well, that's all about today. Otherwise, I did sleep well and long. What time really I got up?! It was around 2pm... oh boy, I was lazy?! No, no, no, I was still sick. Be nice to those who suffer from sickness?! Would you! Hahaha.

November 1, 2002 =Already New Month and 2 More Left?

Began my little "resting" holidays today. Stayed home. Clam. Mostly in bed. Alone. Coughing.

Still under medication and I feel much better than yesterday. Having enough fluid... that is importing.

You know what?! I worked least STILL. Since today was due date submitting monthly sales results. Came out with okay figures. Did so-so, then. Mori and Yasuko in the same question?! Don't know yet. Competition with them isn't that flat!

Because of my off day today, I came to miss a party thrown for Yasuko Funabashi on her recent wedding. However, I will go attend to another (and bigger) one later on.

Watching TV... while awake and big news hit all over the media. No.1 ball player in Japan decided to go and challenge Major Leagues from next year. Yankees and some other ball teams are interested. Oh boy! The popularity in Japanese baseball now goes overseas along with him. Not only Ichiro, Sasaki (both Mariners) - now Hideki Matsui, nicknamed "Godzilla," is on his way to America.

After Ichiro left Japan, Matsui was most well-paid in Japan's baseball.

How was your Halloween?! Enough candies?! Scared kids well?! Hahaha. Hope it was good one. Just like some other years...

3 more days in this personal holiday period left. Not much plans... but I probably go to see some movies for least entertainment. Otherwise --- calm and quiet.

Now I can tell that I have no longer fever. That's start.

Talk to you tomorrow.
