March 31, 2004 =End of --- What? |
Good evening... Gee, too drunk. Just had more than several drinks... I know, I do admit that MORE THAN ENOUGH. Hahaha. Anyhow, it was very priceless talk with friend/coworker and I deeply appreciate for such great time given (by God?).
Great foods (chicken), there. You know, it was 2nd visit... still not memorize of the name! My bad.
Well, March is now coming to an end... so is my training session. Remember?! 3 months limited... from January. Time to move on!!! Definitely. Sort bored in doing things requested or asked. From tomorrow, finally, I get a chance to wear suits... with MY TIE!!! Yey!
Old friend Kelly sent me an email message... THANK YOU! So nice to hear from old friend like her! Definitely, great to keep a website like this... Kelly just remembered of this page and sent me an message. HOW NICE!
I should reply soon... Just found that another friend Kack... did the same and I haven't replied. Bad boy!
Another thing to tell for today... EVENTUALLY, I started telling some people AT WORK about this website in exist. What do you think? It's been quite time and I have been familiar with some of them... almost like friends. I bet that this wouldn't be that bad... even though I tell all readers about what happens everyday!
Yesterday... people in English lesson... today... coworkers... so who's next about disclosure of the personal (very personal!) website?

March 30, 2004 =Late to the Lesson? |
Sleepless in Sagamihara?! As you may know, I stay up quite every night... at least for last two weeks or so. What made such change in my body clock?! Don't know-
Worked late... up to 8pm. Yeah, I wanted to cut all out in order to go to English conversation class starting at 7:45pm... though, my such intention became not so meaningful. The more I become eager to, the less that possibility coming true is... whatever.
Around 6pm... usually I start thinking about time to wrap up- Supervisor Takura from QA Dept. and Sr. Manager Tosaki of Product Engineering started working on some item very urgent. Seemed something went wrong in that scene. Somehow, I was the one being so familiar with that product and its inspection process... I was called for a help. Man, I felt a little bit uneasy about joining that task... although, didn't have choice.
Working on goods and checking the clock... back and forth. ALL THE TIME. I wanted to LEAVE from that site!!! Didn't want to miss fun class where I learn some and teach some (simultaneously)!!! You know, great atmosphere there for me!
Around 8pm... THANK GOODNESS, did finish up... and left the work place in hurry. 8:20pm, arrived at the room... For almost 2 hours thereon, my great Tuesday lasted.
Oh, finally - I shared information of this "secret" website... with all comers for tonight. I bet that many of them would come to see tonight or so. WELCOME, folks! Please be a frequent reader! Hahaha. Make sure to add to your favorite!
Oh... in the afternoon, I participated in material inventory on fiscal year ending... Learned something new there... about resource traceability. Something really got me... Did study a little about IC Tag... on the net for now.
Late... once again. Almost midnight... still typing things FOR YOU! Hehehe.
Today's keyword: Japan's chief government spokesman / chief cabinet secretary
Latter seemed best...
Wow, more than 130 visitors to Japanese page on single day. I know, this kind of stuff happens to happen once a while... What was the occasion? Hmmm, no idea.
From yesterday, I became part of "Virtual Investment Competition." Yeah, no money in real world for me... so I presume that I would be great "capitalist" in virtual world! Hahaha. Too bad that I am, as of night on 30th, ranked at 18th... among 50 participants. What would you think? You would like to invest ON ME?
at least, "so far, so good."

March 29, 2004 =Three Days in a Row! |
I bet that I am the only one having visited to three different branches of Yodobashi... three days in a row! I am sure that now I am most valued customer there! Hahaha.
Got this:
Epson PM-G800
Just searched in Epsom North America site... under www.epson.com/... and found no equivalent model. Apparently, the same one isn't available in that market. R800 model is supreme (surely, over this model) in entire printer line-up.
Did buy not only printer itself... also printer cable (USB), regular copy paper (A4 size = Japanese standard), and special coated paper. Total? JPY25,250. About 235 dollars including consumption tax and everything.
Didn't mention of third store (for today's visit)... yet, huh. Went to Yodobashi Machida Store. It was a little after 8pm. After work. Didn't go alone... Friend (and coworker) Hirano wanted to buy something there too... so he went with me. At the end, he gave himself up on making his mind up for some purchase today.
Supper for me... ramen noodles. With eggs (left) - I ate. Hirano's on right... with green onions.
Came home and set that printer up right away... Gee, it was BIG! Bigger than I thought. Where to put it?! Need a desk for it? Hmmm... I have to come up with some idea about how to coordinate things with big printer... within such limited space here. Need to send a such request to pro (i.e. professional interior coordinator).
Are you the pro?

March 28, 2004 =Chiba |
Hello, it's me... Tak who has 18102 points with YodobashiCamera... that point system, each point is worth 1 yen... Means I have about 200 bucks in credit to that place. Man, I have to come up with what to spend those points for.
"iSight," "iPod (20gig)," and/or "Epson printer."
Took a bus at 10am... arrived at Kisarazu at 12:10pm... Long way to see MoonFlower. True... that's exactly the distance we both face. What would you think? Bad enough? Or maybe good?! She had some errands to do this morning... so I went down all the way to see her.
Had lunch together... and moved to Chiba. Original purpose was to catch some movie... at that time, didn't nail down to any movie in particular. Then, we came to a theater to see the time table. Man, nothing really looked interesting. So decided not to. Instead, some shopping thereon.
"Shirotan" (stuffed animal) - with rabbit = new version
Somehow (?), she desperately wanted one... Yep, I didn't have any objection... but just quickly agreed to pull my wallet out... OH BOY! This was bad (still, no-choice) sign!!!
Then, she has some shopping bag... and I had less money in my pocket.
Do you ever think that this kind of situation is suitable to anyone out there?! Or just me being sacrificed?! Or should call this "tortured???"
Took 9:16 train at Chiba... came home 11pm. Good night!

March 27, 2004 =Fascination |
8am, out of bed... 9am, caught a train... 10:30am, at The Princeton Review Japan. Location was in Shibuya. I have made a reservation to some English seminar interesting to myself. Lecture was of business and leadership. Mostly, all were about logical thinking and how to oversee the future of one from his past and present. Good time for me.
Done at a little after noon. Went to Shinjuku and I didn't go to anywhere but restaurant "Negishi." My favorite. Good stuff as always. Became full and I needed to get some exercise... so I started walking in Yodobashi Camera to look at computers, digital cameras, and printers.
In the printer area, I got hooked to some cute sales lady from Epson... She was as tall as I and DEFINITELY had long legs... good enough for me to stare at her for longer than 20 minutes there! Hahaha. She was nice, though. I was impressed (with what?) and almost bought one in that spot. In fact, I was planning to.
Shhhh, please don't tell of this to anyone!
Snack.. that am eating while typing all this! Rice-cake with cheese and almond.
In DVD section, two of them really got me... "The Crime of Padre Amaro" and "Rounders." Yes, purchased. Wow! 2 days after pay day, I spent that much? EQUIVOCADO! (mistaken)
Finally (still partially?), DVD Collection Page is up! Please check it out! <HERE>

March 26, 2004 =Day After A Day with Drinks |
I should share something with you... at the beginning of update for today. One of keys to succeed in anyone's life... unconditional circumstances... DO NOT BE LATE to work next morning! Not even sleep in the train and passed the station which you were supposed to get off.
You can drink... as much as you want on any kind of occasion. Just watch out what's going to be following day! Don't be late to work!!! (Of whom am I speaking here?) You know, possibilities are between two who were companies of mine then. Hahaha.
Dawn in Atlanta sent me a message... that I should reply to. Nice to hear from her.
Work... There was an informal notice from immediate management of mine about my very next (after training) assignment. I will share that with you shortly... as soon as becoming open to the public. No surprise on me --- you may consider this as a big hint. So Tommy got his, too.
At least, I said, no surprise on ME. Hmmmm.
Tommy and I were planning to finish all up around 6pm to enjoy this Friday as much possible. Though, such planning soon became in vain... We saw Mgr. Shimizu from Administration and asked a big favor... one of us got to go to Hiratsuka for some corrective action on one claim just came in. So I volunteered. Tommy seemed to have something in his mind about after-work... while I did not.
Didn't think twice... (about that volunteering) and turned to be LONG trip. Left Sagamihara around 5pm and came back around 10pm. Hmmmm. Though, it was a matter of long time... didn't bother me much.
Well anyhow, now starting a weekend!

March 25, 2004 =Drunk (2) ! |
Am extremely apologetic to each one of you tonight. Once again... am drunk... may even have a hangover tomorrow morning. In fact, I had tough night to sleep last night... remembering of being up around 3am and 4:30am... Surely, that was bad.
Like I said, I had plenty of drinks for tonight... two nights in a row. Obviously, alcoholic? Maybe... but truth is "NOT YET." Got it? Just happened to be facing two different occasions within such limited time. Coincidence, I may add.
Boss Ito and Hiroshi Kuboki... two from previous work place I belonged to... they were my companies for drinks. Certainly great... more than great... Awesome!!! I did even see Aki Takahashi near the that office as well... that was good surprise.
What did we talk about?! Did give them my input of current life with new job... good or bad?! Well, there are both sides... with some comparison with their work environment. Neat to do such... and I was informed fully of new changes from new management in that place. I found it interesting about all happening... some may be tough on some particular personnel... because change doesn't come along with no pain... you know what I mean. Though, I should judge that it is necessary at this moment.
Anyway, besides job matters... talked about all our "secret" past... Well, mostly of Ito's... and some Kuboki's... I have no SECRETS whatsoever... like you know!!! Hehehe.
Too vivid to share with you... sorry, none of them for you.
Man, almost 2am... Is going to be very tough Friday!!! No doubt about it.
Oh, I got some criticism from Kuboki that I still didn't tell anyone in current work place of this "secret" website. What would you think? I do not intentionally keep this secret... just haven't got a chance to...
PAY DAY! Thank Goodness!

March 24, 2004 =Drunk! |
Hi, foklss... boy, I cannot spell right. I MUST be drunk. Well, I can say really am!!! Hahaha. Tonight, sales team threw a little gathering... 25 people were there, for welcome on Tommy and me... In Chinese restaurant.
Beer and some Chinese alcohol... that I took. Plenty of them. No wonder that I feel so dizzy right now.
Means, I really out to go to bed...
I had first occasion about having a good talk with management. It was pretty meaningful to myself. About my purpose and goal... Seemed I did succeed to pass on what I want to do.
Good night. Zzz.

March 23, 2004 =Bored? |
Busy for today?! Somehow, I was... Well actually not as much busy as used to be like - last year or even before. Hahaha. In the meeting, in the lecture, in workshop... I were like traveling all over the place.
Issues were from lowering inventory level to corrective action. Inventory part... I found it quite interesting about all activities took place last year. From analysis to all fact-finding activities. Hmmmm, very deep study it was... at least seemed that way to me!
Inventory, buffer stock, excessive inventory... whatever!
Long hair... haven't get hair-cut for more than 3 months... Hmmm. This is the longest period of time that I went out without getting it done. I know, I did such milestone once in the past... when in Atlanta... I bet it was of three months or so and I felt getting sick and tired of that... and went to get treated right away... From April 1st and on... I will be officially going to participate in sales activity... as you know. I should look "smarter" than this... right?!
Well, in the first place, everybody knows that it is "LITERALLY" impossible that I be any more handsome... Hahaha!
Still cold today. Sprinkling in the morning.
Left work around 7:30pm.
Somehow, everyone at work get impressed by me taking notes in English. So what?

March 22, 2004 =2 Half... Still Not Yet? |
Sleeted. Hay, it is already in 2nd half of March and where in the world is spring which is supposed to be here by now! Maybe we are going to have very hot summer or totally opposite... could be either way... but simply extreme one way or another?
Tonight, it's cold... now sleet is over and cloudy...
Work... full of activity... seemed everyone was on very tight schedule and I helped two parties out for some new production. Manual assembly, some part. This kind of stuff was (is always too) helpful about not to make me fall asleep! Hahaha.
"Nanohanazukiyo" - some sweet gift from MoonFlower.
Very Japanese sweets... very good!!! Too bad that Internet technology hasn't caught up to all 5 (or 6?) human senses... I cannot pass the smell of this tasty sweets on to you! No regrets, though... surely I enjoy myself eating it... Hehehe. I am evil!
Left work around 7:30pm. Came home... with no intention to go out thereafter. My car doesn't wear tires for such condition... And certainly I have very bad memory of driving in snow or sleet... I had very bad accident in the past - outside Charlotte, NC.
Hmmm, keep bitting on some DVD in Yahoo! Auction... though, someone else always(!) outbids me somehow. Hey, I am not that rich like you! Please leave me along and stay AWAY from all auctions that I am involving! (How selfish!)
Nikke Info: UPs - Sailor, Mitsubishi Material, and Pacific Industry. DOWNs - Mitsui Chem!!! (now in red figure for me!)

March 21, 2004 =Puppets |
Day for family fair?! Today's event was nothing but Puppets. Along with two ladies, including MoonFlower and her friend from work, from Kawasemiza Fan Club, I went to Tama City for some puppets show...
Kawasemi-za production: "In the Forest of Valleyselle"
Copyrights belong to Kawasemi-za. Yes, I do NEVER want to be sued!
Yeah, I managed myself who was extremely sleepy in the theater... first, I really thought that the story was for all families... though, send half became interesting... I found it fun and worth spending time for something like that... once a while.
The move of each puppet on the stage... did really show and did the complication of all moves like they were almost alive! You will be super surprised at first sight!
I bet, as far as I keep seeing MoonFlower who is big fan of such production, there is no doubt, whatsoever, that I will come to see some other production of Kawasemi-za.
Interested? Visit here: http://www.kawasemiza.com
Man, late tonight again... I should go to bed soonest possible!
Have you seen the movie, "Passion of the Christ?"

March 20, 2004 =Unusual Saturday |
Went work. Yeah, Inventory Count Day 2. All done... took all day long... I was up very late last night like finally went to bed around 2am or so... and had full working day then. Now already Sunday it is... so I should go to bed by now.
Usual Friday moved to this Saturday...
Hot (spicy) noodles @ Yonaki-ken where I went two weeks ago.Happened to go out with three other guys from the apartment. Hirano, Nakamura, and Nishiyama... young "gangs" at work. Age from 23 to 25... man, so young.
Coming home after all... then found this. Amazon Pack! Man, it was quick... I placed the order on Thursday... actually at late night. Now, the goods have been delivered. Certainly, express service. What is this?! Just a book. Worth lots?! I will see.
Didn't pay... it was FREE SHIPPING. If paid more than 20 bucks... you don't worry about anything after paying tax... Oh, should be the same over there --- in US, huh.
Time for bed. Good night.

March 19, 2004 =Not So Fast! |
Happy Friday?! It's NOT. I mean, "It is NOT YET." Since my company is facing the end of fiscal year 2003-2004... time for check every single piece in inventory. Yeah, time to get dirty in warehouse! Hahaha.
More than half of entire work force in the place dedicated for such task from this morning. Me? Sure... some new guy, like me, was very typical working dude for such unwanted job for today! In fact, this is to continue till tomorrow.
Means what?! I have got a shortened weekend?! True. Unfortunately... bad enough... something that couldn't believe to happen... whatever. So you can see that tonight, Friday night, isn't that regular one... I feel like it were like one of weekdays. Indeed.
Was that tough?! To be honest with you, nope. Not at all. Only check the type of materials or products... see the tag whether the serial number or lot number written in sequence or not. Right quantity? And then, I signed off. Repeatedly done so... for entire afternoon!
I started with first floor... where a little inventory next to shipping area and finished it up with three other sales guys. We were then asked to join other area... main factory inventory on 3rd floor... most of people working on still when we moved up. Didn't get all done by 6pm... long enough. I just heard someone saying that it wouldn't have taken this long... Something went wrong?! I guess, it was simply lack of number of people doing that job today.
"Gladiator" DVD is my company for tonight. Haven't seen this movie for a while. The other day, I saw "Titanic." I bet that my preference went on to such long production of movie... Maybe.
Now am thinking of start-up, for some different contents, on this "unique" website... Any idea?! What would you like to know MORE about someone very kinky like me who disclose (almost) everything about his entire life... from friend's careless mitakes or funny actions (by accident, still) to pictures of girlfriend or ex-... Hehehe.
I have to admit that all English readers, excluding those Japanese reading both sides, haven't been given much privilege from this web site for a long time... Contents were much simpler than the other end, Japanese version. Obviously, I had tough time to manage both ends at a time everyday... Although, I found it necessary to put up more interesting stuff for English. You think I conceived a bright idea?! Right way?! Right thinking? Anyhow, please feel free to drop me even a line with your ideas!
I will welcome whatever may be!
Hit a sack early for tomorrow's work.

March 18, 2004 =Lack of Sleep |
Hi, folks. I now schedule to play golf with coworkers... on May 15th. I just heard and decided to join... since it was the annual competition between Sagamihara and Utsunomiya Branch. About 10 parties... about 30, 40 people to participate. Wow, big one, huh.
Only (?) 18,000 yen plus travel expense. Wow! NOT CHEAP! I have to save up pennies from now on!
What else to plan???
Udon noodle for supper... with some rice and beans. Man, sounds like I am in definite poverty!!! I just thought that I hadn't been to any convenience store for a while... totally opposite to the time I went to that kind of place everyday... once or twice.
Means what?! I hadn't spent much (money)??? Well, as you know, I have kept spending on something else... like Yahoo Auction, Yodobashi Camera (for all Apple stuff), and now I would like to spend (farther) for some clothing. I know, shoes are plenty here! Hahaha.
Oh, BAG... I want some new bag! <- New thought.
Last episode of my current favorite programs... "White Tower" and "Businessman Kintaro4" now both end... Glad to catch those episodes... I may even place an order for White Tower DVD Collection... According to some source, it may be available sooner... much sooner than average TV program to be DVD.
Wow, I just said about saving up some pennies for GREEN... and already talking about bag and DVD? I must be sick or what!
Japan national selection (soccer team) kicked the butt of U.A.E from Africa and made the road to Athens secure! Good for them! Did I see that match?! Briefly. You?
Another story of some shopping... one book I wanted... and want to CLICK at Amazon... FIRST TIME.
I found it very diffuclt to registar myself to Amazon... It didn't like me much to be customer? Least preferred prospective customer for Amazon? Hahaha.

March 17, 2004 =Just In |
Very... very sleepy! Went to bed like 2am last night (this morning?). Means, I had very difficult working day in keeping myself up?! Well, somehow not that difficult. Probably my body clock has been wrong or something... should affect soon like tomorrow?
Job openings at my previous work. Somehow I've got such information... and I have to share... since my page (i.e. here, this website) is still dedicating to them as well as those who at my current work (yet, they are not informed at this point of time!).
1st ad for Customer Service position with photo of three: Hiroki Arahata, Itsukaichi, and Makiko Kuji!
2nd ad on sales position, Account Executive with (too) familiar faces: Yasuko Ishiyama, Jun Kubo, and Tetsuji Fukui.Wao-, business must be great for them... after all that I left that work place?! Hahaha... surely so! After the mess was cleaned up!
If I did apply for a job. I bet, I would come to be disqualified! Hahaha.
Anyway... for my work day... pretty busy about learning some methodology on quality control... that I got quite bit of interest in it. Yeah, I truly felt that I would like to learn more. I know, seemed still tough to get along... though, somehow somewhat... got me in there.
After work... the department where I am on training went out for drinks with Tommy and me who will wrap up the session Friday. Fun talk with friendly people... Lots of FACTS for "current" company! Too many inside stories, I mean.
7 people all together... near Sagamihara Station. Beer and some Japanese SAKE. Drunk?! Well, hell no.

March 16, 2004 =Lesson #2? |
When coming home from work... I remember it was about 7:25pm or so... I just saw two (or three?) men standing in the aisle... within the compound (i.e. apartment building). Who in the world were they? Well, someone (I have to disclose his name) - one of them - was from sales department.
He wasn't young guy like living in this place... was rather some mid-aged man... for what was he here?!
"Oh you made it... soccer game tonight, right?!" - spoke to me, that gentleman. Well, obviously NOT. I was running into my place... since I had to take off to place for English lesson right away! Hahaha... he was wrong.
Yeah, I got it, I got it... he came here for that game to watch on TV. I bet he was looking for someone else's room where he made a promise to watch together... with whoever it was.
New kind of way to take advantage of someone living in short distance. May in the future, I may be sacrificed like that?! Oops, I have to be careful in wording... "sacrificed" may not be the most appropriate term in this case! I can call it was "cooperation." Hahaha.
From about 8pm, English lesson. Yeah 2nd visit. More people tonight like 7 or so... It was good class where I didn't have any hesitation to speak up. Good atmosphere. About a half of the "class" spoke very fluently... One of them was really impressive... I hadn't met anyone at that (excellent) level. Mine?! As you know, so-so... I know, I still need some (more?) disciplains.
Long night... grocery shopping afterward... so I came home late. Just like that, becoming a usual Tuesday if continuing to attend that class?! Hmmm.
What did I buy in that shopping?! I should've bought something like vegetables, fruits, juice (never soda), yoghurt. Truth? Coke, junk foods, what else... Definitely, I am stereotype bachelor!!!
Agreed?

March 15, 2004 =Accident? |
So how's your Monday?! Enables you to imagine that you will come to have an easy week?! Sure hope so!
Me?! Very usual... nothing really special. Woke up at usual time and went to work... everything was pretty normal and flat... problem-free for me. Means good, huh. Yeah, I can say so.
Heard some news... via email. Yasuko Ishiyama, friend/ex-coworker, got an accident YESTERDAY. Even ambulance came for pick up at the sight of accident. She was hit hard by bicycle. True. She, upon my contact, seemed fine and spent a day, today, at her home just to rest.
Man, we all should be careful!!! Make sure that you LOOK out where you're going! You will NEVER know what kind of people out there... riding a bicycle... or driving a car...
Man, just for now... someone outbid me on some bag (Yahoo! Auction). Am I looking for a bag... like used one?! Well, I know - I wish I could afford something NEW... I should ask someone else to manage my money (debt?)!!!
Pork and vegetables for dinner. Stuff... very full! Now coffee.
Today, I received some information... about my holidays... Company's unique calendar.
Golden Week : April 29th ---> May 5th (7 days)
Summer Holidays: August 7th ---> August 15th (9 days)
2003-2004 Holiday : December 26th ---> January 5th (11days)So what you think?
Walked away from 7520 today. Just a few days after. With some small cash... like 160 buck (ganar).

March 14, 2004 =Ginza |
From one department store to another... took both of us, MoonFlower and Ogaki-jin, all day long... for what?! Shopping. For whom?! At least not for me! Who spent money?! She did... HOW ABOUT ME then?!?!
Mitsukoshi -> Matsuya Ginza -> Seibu -> Yurakucho Hankyu -> Printemps Ginza... How many department stores over all?! Hmmmm, 5 places!!!
For what occasion?! She wanted to buy several gift items for her friends/coworkers. Well after all, she accomplished what she wanted to complete for today. Relief for me?! Hahaha.
Tired. Walked... that's all I did?! Hahaha, could have been so!
Maybe I should've looked for something to buy... for myself. That's something I need to work on.
Have nothing farther to tell you... Sorry!
Now laundry in progress to be ready for new week.
Tempura for lunch @ called "HAGETEN" and sushi for supper. 980 yen and 1,800 yen, respectively.

March 13, 2004 =Desperado |
?Que quieres en la vida?
Desperado... for what?! Well, it was one movie day for me. Obviously in Spanish... definitely in Mexico! Spain's President speech on recent terrorist attack... I didn't understand much... On the other hand... in this "pelicula" (the movie), it was all clear for me! Hahaha... indeed because of my MexiCAN Spanish. Yeah, I CAN!
Didn't care about Johnny (Depp) at all... Antonio (Banderas)?! Neither!
It was all about her - Salma (Hayak)... with her beautiful body!!! Hehehe. She's first Mexican actress coming to Hollywood?! For that... I haven't had any knowledge at all. What I only knew, prior to this movie, was simply what she played a key roll in 1st movie of the series.
To be honest with you, she was the ONLY reason for me to buy a ticket to see this movie!!! Hehehe.
For rate? Well, I can give FULL AAA (triple A) or A+++++ on her sexy dynamite body... wait, I should give a rate not for her... but for movie itself. Hmmm, my bad!
Solid B for "Once Upon A Time in Mexico." I promise that I will add this movie, when coming out, to my collection. For sure thing.
Hitachi "Minus Ion" Hair Dryer.
How much?! Well, I could have bought similar at MUCH lower price... like between 10 and 20 bucks. How much for this one?! Because of "Minus Ion" thing in it, the price was rather higher... at 50! Man, expensive. I will be mad if this won't be worth that much... That minus ion thing should help something on me!!!
Oops, my bad (again)!!! "Minus Ion" is very very very Japanese-English. I should've used the term "Negative Ion." Here is some reference for you!
http://www.bright.net/~comtech/
Will see how good this is... from tomorrow morning!

March 12, 2004 =Weird Ramen Noodle Shop |
Place called "Ganko" ramen shop... actually closest to my place! 1st visit?! Truly. Why not done much before?! Well. There is a simple excuse. As per such name... I indeed held some resistance to open the door of the place.
Ganko literally translates, into English, as "Stubborn." In some famous noodle shops... there are so many (noodle) masters with very own way of their expression toward customer... from the taste of soup to attitude that customers have to take.
Can you see the "BONE" tied with thread (in center of the picture).
That's the sign of "OPEN."When runs out of soup made for single working day, master closes the shop right away... So the "BONE" is the key to know whether still opens or not. This isn't only place doing such... I've seen some others before. Still unique system, don't you agree?
Entirely BLACK in color coordination of the exterior... Then, after through the door, you come to dark room... still small and you have to go to another door to enter... After such dark room, you come to very ordinary place for noodles! Some kind of (new) amenity like that?! Hmmmm. Anyway, I have NEVER seen any place like, for noodles to eat, customer have to go through two doors.
Master seemed nice... contrary to what all you see on wall... There were signs everywhere with lots of says like "Before order, you have to read THIS!" or "Please yell at master for order... master WILL ask you and place wait until then (Master has to make all to be ready for you not only from material aspects... but also about his MIND to serve you)," etcetera, etcetera...
All music were from Eikichi Yazawa... famous Japanese rock musician who inspired red so many men with his soul and spirit. More than 30 CDs hanging on the wall as well.
Customers, including myself, were rather nicer to master... usually all opposite... right?! Hahaha.
Ramen noodle for today.
Did I like it or not? Yeah, I did like it!
After this restaurant, bought a magazine "Gainer" - men's fashion magazine... and had a coffee. Studied a little... today's lesson? English Grammar 101! Hahaha. But, it was serious study!
For that learning session, used my Montblanc fountain pen... for 1st time in three months?! Hmmm. How about this (see below)???

March 11, 2004 =Good Thursday! |
Just finished watching one of favorites TV dramas... "White Tower (directly translated from "Shiroi Kyoto-")"... good story... next Thursday that I cannot wait from now on is the story end... with very sad fact.
Well you don't know of this story at all... am talking about Japanese TV program... Man, I should respect more about what you can and cannot understand from my say.
Today's word... document called "MSDS" - you know - Material Safety Data Sheet... I just prepared one in English. It was quite easy except one part... that I had to get along with lots of chemical names!!! For that, I had carried no knowledge whatsoever!
You know, I was REALLY bad at science class... time for nap then! Biology and Chemistry... were all one kind for me! Hehehe.
Tommy was busy working on some different assignment and came back and saw I almost finished that sheet... He was so happy to see that happening... Because he didn't want to deal with it for the first place! Yeah, I did work and he took it to the guy waiting for it! Hahaha, got you, didn't I?!
Rental videos from last weekend returned. "Life or Something Like It," "Wayne's World 1&2" --- and some dirty movie? Hahaha, just kidding.
How come "Wayne's-?" - the answer is rather simple! I just wanted to see some movies at the time of my stay in early college life... when I wasn't that good and able to understand whole thing in English... I will come up with more names of movies from early 90's... that I watched then.
I should go to Yahoo Movies Page to see what's in its database.
Today's theme song... "Up" by Shania Twain.
http://www.shania-twain.com/Ready for weekend?! No plans yet...
Got a call from some lady that I hadn't heard for a long time... She wanted me to buy National Treasury Bond due at the end of month. Hmmmm. I have to ask myself... how much money I have... and how cute she may be?! I have never met her before. Who is she?! Oh, sales person! Hahaha.
Bought in for 4183 and 7250. Right choice?! Who knows! Today's Nikkei - didn't rally at all!!! Not even single sign of going up! Hmmm. In fact, heavy fall in addition to yesterday's session. Maybe tomorrow?! Let's lower such expectation. How about DJIA? Doesn't look too good, does it?!

March 10, 2004 =Next Challenge? |
Good evening, ladies, gentlemen, friends, families, dogs, cats... and Charlie's Angels!
Remember that I recently made a best bid on Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle DVD... Am sure that you do. Otherwise, you're either not frequent reader of this website or just out of mind... or even sickened like partially "Alzheimer." What would you think of yourself? Clarification of your status from those definitions?
Well, DVD was here via regular mail... firmly packed and DVD's surface, I deemed, very clear and clean. Mint condition, you may call.
You might have been worrying about... where I would come to be with full of complaints about putting up such vivid picture of Yui for yesterday's issue underneath? Well, surprise, surprise! Nope... nothing, zip! So nothing I heard means tolerance... yeah, I got permit for it. Haha! Good for Ogaki-jin!
(Currently mentioned DVD in progress)
Have you seen this (sort overdone) movie? My rating on this piece of work was merely C... very mediocre.
For work... there are 3 different teams within the sales department that I belong to... means, in coming April when I "officially" make a first move as sales staff, I will be sent to one of three spots in the department. "Toyota Group," "Interior," "Exterior," and "Fuel System." Oh, actually there are FOUR. (Don't I know how to count?)
Asked immediate boss - Okada about the possibility and also interview to expect or not. The answer... not given yet at this point. Anyhow, not personal face-to-face interview on me and Tommy is not scheduled and management will take entire initiative to come to such decision... ALLOCATION of new work force (i.e. ME).
Let's give you my summary about my want with reality and possibility:
- Toyota Group - ZERO possibility. Out of the range... my reach.
- Exterior - A few... but I don't think that would be my place. No particular reason.
- Interior - Medium probability... I think this is the 2nd possible position for me.
- Fuel System - High potential. I somehow believe quite firmly about coming to my destiny.
You will come to see where I have made a right prediction of my very next (near) future. Your guess?
Another thing... whole different thing. My very next bid is on 4183 (new!) and 7520 (retry!). Hint hint!

March 9, 2004 =Movie Page Updated |
Okay, upon receipt of millions requests about wanting to see movies from the other day's party... For everyone's nosy want... I have UPDATED the personal movie page! Just like this:
Please... DO NOT EVEN THINK about telling Yui (kissing above) of this page... Definitely, I do not hold any permit to do so!!! As always, I do all as I want! Hahaha.
For that update, you can see not only about that kissing scene, you also retrieve some funny movies like Boss Ito singing! Mochizuki with guitar is his company in the other movie file. Don't miss it!
Easy work? Lots of chatting?! Shhhh, don't tell anyone yet!
One of largest TV/radio shopping merchant "Japanet Takata" today made an announcement that there was stolen database of its customers... the list contained more than 0.6 million people! Wow... with this poor management of such valuable information in the business, Japanet has decided to close its door at least for a while... from TV and radio contact windows.
Big impact on Japanet's sales... though, I think it was very smart and fast move just made by company's management. Contrary to this case, we had seen similar incident... Yahoo! Japan did claim its customers' list stolen. Though, not really big move made by that large corporation. I guess, Japanet Takata secured still some trust from those who had shopped from that network.
I just checked official website of Japanet... door was closed as well with single message of apology. Impressed!

March 8, 2004 =Wow! |
Today's Nikkei ---Stock number 7250 up, up and up?! Big move for today! More than anyone's expectation. Successful? Or not?! Regardless to whether I made or I didn't... I came to get this:
Hmmm. Not from Yodobashi this time. Coming from Yahoo! Auction.
"Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle" DVD
Yeah, someone like me, had to save even a buck! Or you want to call this as good buy... Retail price at 3800 yen, I spent (even for used) about 2200 yen. Not bad... at least I think so in my opinion. It's DVD... not a tape...
Did I forget... just last month, I just made a best bid on this and got:
"Closer" DVD
Okay, now you've seen two DVDs... anything in common?! Might be giving you a good clue about Tak's preference... or whatever you may call. Hmmm, shocking.
More than 100 visitors just for single day! Thank you, YA'LL!!! Keep coming and reading!
At work today, I seemed to have people around impress about how fast I could type with blind typing. Well, not a big deal it was!

March 7, 2004 =Nothing... |
Seclusive. Yeah, did seclude myself from rest of the world! Woke up late... and stayed in all day long except an errand for something to eat. Otherwise... well anyway, that was it!
Received several photo images from yesterday's wedding ceremony... For that I should share with you in putting them up and that's all I can do on this update for you!
Couple --- showed up together... and felicitation by Nakabayashi.
Candle lightening!
Nice couple with great friends...
... more.

March 6, 2004 =Wedding... Whose? |
As previously mentioned (I did... as far as I recall... if not, please pardon!) - I went and was part of wedding reception of Yui Yamada... my ex-coworker and we sat face-to-face in the past. Yamada - same last name as mine... and she married another Yamada-lastname fellow.
Important of all, her husband (as of today) had very interesting name - TAKASHI YAMADA. Familiar?! Yeah, definitely! :-0 Look at this, the black invitation board put up at the lobby... said "Yui and Takashi Yamada Wedding Party." Hmmm.
Wow... just a coincidence, right?! Yeah, most definitely!!! Obviously, not ME!!! Funny thing... every time in that party I heard MY name... I almost raised my hand and "Hey! It's me!" - I didn't though.
So many people in that party from both ends... Yui's friends and his... total about 60 people or so. Only the regret I had for that party... didn't find any chicks from opposite end! MOSTLY (literally mostly), men... there. Unfortunately. You know, this kind of occasion is best kind to find someone new. You know what I mean. Too bad... maybe some other time.
From Yui's end... all I know... great reunion. Sort of. Anyway, first of all, I have to share the picture of Today's Guests of Honor.
Takashi (l) and Yui (r) Yamada - brand new couple!
Ex-Boss Nakabayashi, Ito, Arahata (even from last weekend's bowling), Yonekura, Fukami, Hanaki, Ishiyama... so many people I have missed... and I was even missed? (<- I wish).
... so drunk or what?! Including some faces that no longer belong to that working place (like me). For that, this gathering became even better and significant!
Usual ladies, even more beautiful! (left- all three are STILL ready-to-go!) In the middle, Yonekura (left) is engaged. Congratulations! Person next to her, I haven't seen her in years!!! Married and doing great mothering, her name is Mutsumi Takahashi (maiden name Mutsumi Saito)... great to see you! On right... ugly (usual) guys gave me a hard welcome!
More men... (l-r) Mori, Yoshi Ito, and Aharata.
One night only set-up - singing songs for those two! Good?! Well, I should waive my comment...
Mochizuki, Sakai, and Ito...
That's all from that party... I am supposed to receive more photos from those who attended the wedding... so you will come to see how it went with them in a day or two.
Anyway, Takashi and Yui, congratulations! Good luck with you both FOR GOOD!

March 5, 2004 =New Place Found? |
Usual working day for me... Busy?! Never!!! (yet)
How come this March is much colder than this past February?!?! Please explain! Came home around 7pm and, as my usual Friday, I went out for something... Yeah, I mean, to look for something (i.e. nothing really particular!).
Came up my mind one thing... "Yonakiken" ramen noodle place on Highway 16. Very old-fashion-looked place like from 60's or so. So finally I decided to stop by... I kept thinking about stopping by for a long time like since Day One when I found it on the street.
In fact, this was truly first visit to Sagamihara-oriented restaurant!!! As far as I believe, that shop isn't a chain. This bowl of ramen - 700 yen. I can give only B+... may raise to another (upper) level only if I would eat more in different places for comparison. Anyhow, B+ still tells as "recommended." Not bad choice at all.
Tomorrow, I will be a little bit on scheduled time... about coming down to Tokyo for a party. Yui Yamada - ex-coworker of mine gets married and I will be part of reception after wedding ceremony. How should I dress for that?!
Oh before going to close for today, I have to ask you... I have to rely on your expertise!!! Truly. In reading material I had for today, there was a term used... that I didn't understand... and I didn't even come to find what's the short for. The term giving me a hard time is "MNS-2." Part of payment term... Do you know of this?! If so, please TELL me. You can even call me COLLECT!
In case you wish to talk to me at your expense, you're ALWAYS welcomed to do so! Please state your name and time you may call me in your message, I will be more than glad to be your company! Hehehe.

March 4, 2004 =Amy Who? |
Hi, folks... I was in hurry after work... going home. Yeah, it wasn't my intention to spend more time home for tonight. I had some previous engagement before today and the destination then was in Chofu.
Near Chofu Station, a little after 8pm, I've got a lift to friend's car. Who in such place?! Surprise, surprise... that place was where old friend Amy was living. She came to pick me up for dinner. Hadn't seen her for longer than half year?! I have to check entire old diary to see when it was... Am sure that it would take some time to dig it out!
Anyway, we tried to catch up with each other's "UP-TO-DATE" things. She's been married for two years or so... lots of changes in her life. She recently decided not to work for a while... totally relying on husband's hard work for pay. Seemed it was meant for her... like taking things easy for herself after all messy busy life of hers heretofore.
Amy Shibata... great to see ya!
Man, I just got back from that --- that meeting with this young lady (yet married). Late... and I missed the biggest TV day for week! I have let two big programs (i.e. drama series) go!!! Have you taped them?! You know, I don't EVEN KNOW if my VCR works for taping or not. Well, even before that, I don't even have any blank tapes! Hmmm. I should check that out soonest possible.
Nikkei up! Still way to go?! Out of control? +400 bucks on single trade session. For whom? Hehehe.

March 3, 2004 =In Addition to All This |
Hi, folks. How are things with you?! For me, it was all about the language. Yeah, full of English. Today, not reading... not even speaking. Translation. From English to Japanese.
The keyword was APQP - Advanced Product Quality Planning. Some smart people over Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors came up something really thick... I mean the book with full of theory and ideas was really thick! Hahaha.
So many people (i.e. coworkers) came by the desk and asked if I could understand or not. Surely... I can read! I've got some (two!) eyes and one (small) brain (rarely functions!)... Well, the book of such guideline was for anyone... even if you were "dummy!" - Hahaha. Everyone referred that book as "tough to understand in English" - sounded like they treated me like a baby... To be honest with you here, it was (still is) easy! I've read through so many books required for some class I really hated but just for credit in college!
Tommy seemed really bored and tired in doing same with me. Not because of difficulty for him... just he didn't like what he was asked to do. Well, just be patient.
Ate rice home. Saving... this is only the thing in my head. Not to eat out!!!

March 2, 2004 =Community |
Full of English... throughout a day!!! Hi, people in Ogaki... how are we doing?! A little bit cold, isn't it? Surely, this is part of our preparation for coming-up Spring. Be patient. Let's bear with God for a sec.
Text... actually, the guideline book written in English was certainly my company since yesterday... I bet that it wasn't enough for me to hold such feeling of foreign language. I was, after work, in hurry to show up to some party. Not for drinks or anything... merely for English conversation class. Group of 5 that I joined for the 1st time... at least I was invited with warm welcome. Nice to know friendly people in this area.
Truly, it was NOT my intension to learn English there... just because of my want to join some group to be familiar with people and the place. I honestly told them who were (truly?) astonished to how fast I spoke all in English. Indeed, some of them were having hard time to listen to me. I did slow down, though!
Surely, I hesitated to talk much first... you know the group that I never be in... but didn't last too long. Started speaking like normal... It was SO fun for me to tell things and listen of things from each of them. Only every other week, they held a session. Tuesdays. I will try to make time to be there next time... or possibly more.
According to them, there were about more members like 10 others in the same group... they come in and out... Maybe next time, it could be much more fun! Chicks?! Hey, didn't see young people there... unfortunately?! Hehehe.
After the class, stopped by for a shopping. My grocery. Spent about 30 bucks.
Kilometrage: 13,798km at the end of February.
+523km in the month.

March 1, 2004 =Marzo Empeza |
Just watching TV... All Japan Soccer Team is on field... partly on the way to Athens (i.e. Olympic Games in Athens!) Hey, not in Georgia (US), I mean. Definitely, Greece!!! Hehehe.
New training session to being today. "Global Quality Control" section is the one where I will spend next three weeks. In the morning... I spent entirely in reading some book consisted from 120 pages or so written in English. It was easy reading for me. Fun?! Nope. Actually, boring.
My reading was completed in about an hour and a half. Not bad for me... slow reader.
In the afternoon, I had two working session with two salesmen... Mr. Arai aged 34 and Mr. Ogino - age is still unknown. They had some urgent issue to work and Tommy and I helped them out among others doing same for two gentlemen.
Sprinkling... and light rain... didn't see it was like this in other place!
Chiba Station - snowing! Very rare...
We forgot?! It is now March... Time for warm-up... even baseball season coming!!! Who pressed the wrong button? Hmmm. Now, yes, it is very cold tonight. Brrr!
Japan's Nikkei 225 smashed up! Nope, I mean, "boosted up." Up 200+ points! Man, are you one of happy campers?! Moi? Truely not.
