June 30, 2004 =Drunk? Who? |
Hello there. How have you been? You haven't checked this place out for a while... have you? If so... please come more frequently... you may not know that this site may come to an end soon! Maybe next time you come, then you may see a blank page or, say, "Sorry, this page is no longer existed."
Tonight, drinking time for all of us from the department. Yeah, Welcome- and Farewell Party held. One guy is going to be relocated in China from here. Two pregnant ladies are to leave... in fact, one of two quits. Replacing two ladies are also part of being "guests of honor." Got it?
Nishijima - going to China! How about me in that party... how much drink? Well, I was only part of 1st session in a restaurant... Many of them went on 2nd place for further entertainment on their own. I had too much drinks... and I decided to come home.
Yeah, drunk.
Being aged 31 is no longer qualified as "young" for me? Too bad!!! I do feel like much younger... and what about appearance? Hmmm.

June 29, 2004 =Busier? |
Early morning, I've got. Up around 6:30am... thanks to MoonFlower who gave a wake-up call for me. I usually don't have such trouble... I can get up anytime necessary for work. Her help was (surely!) an insurance. You know, anyone could make a mistake... so.
Train... first time for me to participate in the peak hour... not bad on JR Yokohama Line like what I know from Tozai Line. I had plenty of space around for myself. Though, commuter train... something no longer part of my life. At least for now? Hahaha.
I was in and out of the office... all day. For meeting and some "fetch" mode for customers or guests or whoever it was.
So while away from my desk, everything was peachy then? As far as I know... yeah!
I was sort in hurry to leave work for today. Since English lesson was scheduled for the 1st time in a whole month... I was indeed excited to be there. How many did show? Well, including myself, 5 of us got together. It was fun and sort learning. Good stuff. Full of 2 hours... entirely English as usual.
Tired. Long day as you see hereby... Started early and finishing late (around now).
Oh, I paid local tax... I need to withdraw some money for my cash! Didn't stop by any ATM around. I for got. It is indeed necessary that I hold some cash... you know.
No study or reading tonight.

June 28, 2004 =Working Hard |
Easy Monday? Tough Monday? Tiring Monday? Which one can describe of your day better?! Mine? None of those... simply, it was ordinary Monday. No hard feeling and no pains.
Morning gathering for all employees held and the speech was of some kind of quality maintenance. You know, I didn't even pay attention to the speaker... no memory who it was and what he talked about. My fault. I know, I may have an inferior royalty.
Rest of morning, I devoted in a meeting... for summary of last week. Many things covered then... My report? Simple and easy. As usual. No longer knowing how to work hard. Hahaha.
Afternoon, mostly I got stuck with Excel... controlling numbers and checking some data out. Fun? I believed that it would make me smarter than I had been. I may not be so... so what? Hahaha.
At night, after coming home, usual task to do. Study? Nope. Laundry.
Jeans washed.
Brief pants washed.
Shirts washed.Summer vest (see shot) also got washed. Recalling of the time I was in college - Virginia Wesleyan College - I bought this when coming out of Spanish class. There was a fair on campus. It was part of some kind of fund raising or something and I help that program out in buying that vest. Yeah long time ago.
Then, friend in Atlanta - Tyson - really made fun of me wearing that... because I looked like famous cartoon character "GEGEGE no Kitaro." Kitaro looks like below (next to picture of vest). Yeah, I don't object much... or simply I cannot?
Okay, you can laugh, TOO!That cartoon wears long-sleeve shirt... but I DON'T! Always put the T-shirt on. That's the way how MY kind of fashion goes. Is Kitaro one-eye? DIDN'T think so.
Two chocolates I just ate... My late-night snack. "Kisses."
Did I wear Alain Mikli for work? Nope. Didn't even intend to. Hahaha. Why not? Well, I just didn't want to at least for today. Maybe tomorrow? Will see how I feel tomorrow morning.
Just saw the trailer of a movie called "Little Black Book." Seems fun and recommend you! I will watch - that kind of movie.
http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/little_black_book/Somehow it was merely coincident. that Mimura and I wore same color shirt at work. Some kind of brotherhood? Definitely not. I just said "merely happened" - didn't I?

June 27, 2004 =One after Another |
Hi, folks. Hot, wasn't it? Yeah, it was... Unfortunately, my room temperature is much higher than one outside. I have never thought what the cause would had been. Now I think because of TV - relatively larger compared to the size of room. Plus, I've got many things occupy the power outlets from VCR, PlayStation2, PowerBook (2 of them), ADSL terminal, Epson printer, refridge, etc.
Solved glasses stuff yesterday... and now faced another problem?
A few minutes ago I found one missing piece! My PowerBook has one rubber foot MISSING!
And I just recovered. It was in my computer bad. I have to go to buy a super glue!!! Can I borrow yours? You know, super glue is "must-have" item for ALL PowerBook users since everyone knows the fact that rubber feet so easily come off. My incident... this is the third time! (no kidding).
Lunch at Mos Burger since I wanted to read some magazines while having meal. For supper I wanted to eat some (Ramen) noodles. It was extra that I had two doughnuts in MisterDonuts after the noodles. Man, had extra sugar tonight. What about my weight issue? What about it?

June 26, 2004 =Finally Exchanged |
Tak's Saturday... nothing really fun and he simply followed the schedule telling out of his Palm handheld. Very simple day... with one surprise. Did see MoonFlower in Shinjuku. Didn't plan to... somehow it happened.
i.e. I was caught by her.
Got up around 10am and stuck with TV for rest of morning. Then, showed to the dentist around 2:30pm. I wasn't the only one having the appointment then. There was a CUTE lady in waiting room. Wow, must be my luck?! Hahaha.
Took me about an hour in the treatment. Pain? Yeah, it was sort painful. Bad dentist? Assume not.
Thereafter... I was just between going to Alain Mikli shop and not going... though, made up my mind for GO. It was about 4pm and did take train from Tamasakai. Usual whole hour to take... I appeared to the shop and same guy whom I had talked about the case vs. eyeware issue... and instantly ended up with exchange of the case.
Look... I didn't know that there was a larger size of case in line-up. That easy, huh. I know... things could've done much easily! No more complaints or claims! Well, the original purchase back in December... and now I've got brand new glasses and case. Not bad? Sure. I do have something very fresh! Hehehe.
Had dinner with MoonFlower... though, I didn't feel well then. Head hurt. Must be from the treatment. Man, should've made me feel good after Alain Mikli... but got disturbed in pain from influence of treatment.
Dinner? Asian foods. No much quantitatively.

June 25, 2004 =Finally End of Week |
Yee-haw! Finally work is over for Friday and free for weekend! As you can imagine, the feeling, right after work on Friday, is great and couldn't be substituted by anything else (exaggerated?). Even though no plans for this weekend in particular are scheduled, having free time is much better off working at desk! Hahaha.
There was a big (?) business dinner took place and all from my section (small group in sales department) went on with customers. Me? I was called to join, though didn't have choice to say "some other time." I was swamped. More than several issues needed to take care and decided to stay in the office.
Although, two big issues of all I needed to do within the night suddenly became not so important. Small meeting with coworkers got cancelled. Searching some item requested by customer was wrong request and I then didn't have to deal any longer. Oh boy! I could have gone to that (fancy?) dinner in the first place then! I think that it was all from my bad luck out of wrong doings? Hmmm.
Problem after problem... I have felt being so unfortunate. And then, didn't come to eat some Chinese (I bet that would be expensive!) tonight. How come things like that keep happening? Tell me what to do!
Hot tonight... though some rain when coming back from McDonald's where I had Big Mac for supper.

June 24, 2004 =Day Before |
Day before pay day and I have already sent a request for wire transfer... so that I can pay off the debt even by small portion. When am I going out of debt completely? Well, I would say, "indefinitely." In other words, I will never... unless I find some rich woman who can give me unlimited financial supports for rest of my life. Are you the one?
Probably (most definitely) not. Hahaha.
New line-up from Nissan - called "FUGA" introduced. Replacing Cedric and Gloria lines? Man, I want to see FUGA soonest possible. Makes me interested so much in that new car.
Work. Tough... better say ROUGH? Pretty peaceful in the morning... but in the afternoon, all got so tight so suddenly. TWO different customers called urgently (almost screamed!) and I was pushed to deal with two cases respectively. Thanks to so much cooperations from other departments, I didn't come to a big trouble at the end. Smart? Not like that... just a matter of physical.
Hot again? Sure, it was. You should come here to survive with me!
Supper... didn't have much appetite. Went to nearby "ampm" and picked up something to eat. Veggy sandwich and salad plate. Really? Yep, that was all for tonight. 580 yen. Healthy? Well, didn't eat heavy stuff at all. No meats. No eggs. No calories! (most important)

June 23, 2004 =Still No Rain |
I believe that it's time to cool off with some rail falls. Where has the low pressure gone... resting or staying active somewhere else... not around Japan? Today, again, it was very hot. No wonder that I have stayed in all day long! Hahaha.
I've got some homework... "Cost reduction" is the theme and that is very comprehensive. Hasn't built so much expertise yet about this new job and it is seemed that I had to collect so many piece of information to compose and calculate the final figure. Oh gee.
You know, I have been long in sales and LOVE to raise the price... NEVER dealt with lowering... regardless to the size of reduction. Hahaha... this makes me EVIL, right? Probably so.
"How come you don't wear OTHER glasses?" - That question was raised by one coworker. I guess, he was reader of this page and knew that I had more than several pairs. My answer? "Well, because I STILL like these, too."
Which pair, you might think by now... Oldest pair... gold frame... least popular among friends (somehow). Don't hate them... I may look very tight-ass... so what?
Gold > Silver, right? Sure thing. In fact, silver isn't much of choice for me... Oh don't forget of platinum. That's best!
DDP and DDU - hadn't been used since my leaving previous work. I heard of them by accident. Delivered Duty Paid and Delivered Duty Unpaid. Yep, I still remembered them well. Missed previous work place?! So-so.
"You used to work in Tokyo? I thought that you worked overseas before." - by other coworker. Can you answer that for me?

June 22, 2004 =Damn Hot! |
Does size matter? Really does?! Yeah, it does! What am I talking about? Oh, the size of glasses doesn't fit within the case! Yeah, Mikli case. I've got a response from gentleman in the shop... though, it wasn't that clear. He said that glasses wouldn't be all in same size since all hand-made.
My question had been whether the ALL glasses were designed to fit or not... I guess, I didn't word it right for better understanding?
Anyway, my 2nd message is already out. Will see.
Hot day? Truly. Summer like. Did you stick with water bottle all day long? Or stayed near the AC. Hahaha. Me? Yeah, you know how wise I am! Hehehe. Just kidding.
Oh, I had to withdraw some money... since I had been cash-lacking (or -hungry) in my wallet. COACH wallet. NOT pure money of MINE. It's part of borrowing from the bank. You know, pay day is around the corner... though, couldn't last that long this month. My fault. Without thinking how much I spent on credit card... YET I spent enough in cash.
How much? Just "Benjamin" or "C-note" or "Jolly Green Giant." You know what I mean?
Work was okay... no troubles, I think. You know, I left work at early night and don't care what happens afterward. I mean, if customer called me after my leaving, it would be then out of my control! Beyond control! I guess, only the hectic issue for today was of temperature! Hahaha, got you, didn't I?
Hot at night (now!)... Upper 90's or close to 3-digit. My god!

June 21, 2004 =Bad Luck? |
Hi, folks. Not Mickelson... not Maruyama... it was WHO? Goosen won US Open Golf this year... Am sure that I would have scored around 140 or so if I played there among top players. Hahaha.
No luck for today. I ordered some components for tomorrow's (manual) assembly... and two kinds were not coming to me yet. Past due. Why? It took me a while to chance... to see what happened to my orders. No one in procurement didn't pay attention to those orders and that was, I guess, very unfortunate. At last, I found that some people at work kept some of same components and those numbers were sufficient for tomorrow's work. So pain wasn't that hard on me.
I hoped that would be only no-luck situation... I wished. Look at these:
What is the point? Okay, let's observe upper row. Right picture shows correct positions of both arms of eye glasses. To the contrary, left picture indicates that right arm (look carefully!) is sort bent downward. How does this happen? Well, they are actually before- and after- pictures. Before closing the case and after opening the case.
In other words, capacity of the case cannot hold the glasses in particular. See lower row for that. Thickness of the case and glasses seems like same. Good holding means that glasses should be smaller than their case. I found this tonight after coming home from work. I realized that the arm was forced down!!! This will cause change of shape in long term for sure. I don't want to let that happen EVER!
Yeah, am VERY DETAILED person! You know me, don't you?! What would you do if you were I?
Hence, I just finished writing a message in email to same gentleman that dealt the exchange with me yesterday. Wise to keep anyone's business card! Don't you ever leave without asking for one, especially after claim issue! Hahaha.
Well, will see what kind of response I will get by, say, tomorrow?

June 20, 2004 =Now Okay? |
Hot day... summer is here for sure... but typhoon (very strong kind) is also coming this way. Oh boy! We all should be alerted. Sounds like the weather situation is expected to aggravate soon like from Monday.
Aoyama and then Marunouchi. I traveled one shop another... Alain Mikli. Soon as entering the store in Aoyama, I asked who was the manager and then was told that he was off today. Instead, deputy manager showed up before me.
Explained all and gave my name to check past purchase record. That gentleman came back with detail record in his hand and became very apologetic. He agreed to my point that there should have had no scratches. As a result of small talk between that man and I, mine was exchanged with new ones. Wao!
I guess, I was very reasonable and in good manner. Neither yelled nor showed upset.
Upon inventory check, Marunouchi store had new pair and I could have waited that new pair would be in mail... however, I decided to go on to pick the pair up. Not much trouble for me, anyway.
See, no scratches! Finally.
Alain Mikli - A0021-16
--- please write this down if you EVER want same pair! Hehehe. ---Hence, all clear now, right? Yep. Oh, gal in Marunouchi store was very cute and kind to me! Forgot to ask her for name and number. Oh, I've got name... still no number. Dong!
Oh, stopped over the store called "AGI." Leather product... good variety of leather wallets. I almost grabbed one for myself... Price was from 100 dollars to over 1,000 dollars. Want one in crocodile? Prefer ostrich! Hahaha.
"AGI" - checked for my next wallet collection
"Yodobashi" - placed order for Air Station Express (release in July)
"Sakuraya" - checked out new releases of fashion glassesAfter the dentist last week, I had first coffee in this afternoon. In Mikli shop. Single cup served to this customer who was troublesome about scratches on glasses! Hahaha.

June 19, 2004 =Still NG |
There is a discussion... what kind of brand for your wallet? Since I wrote about my wallet by Luis Vuitton (Italian made) was worn out and should look for replacement. Or I should go back to old one by Coach (American brand).
And currently, back to Coach.
Foyer (still friend, you know) wrote in my Bulletin Board that I should not chase after the trend that everyone else loves. He recommended "Wild Swans" brand. Never heard of it... though, it's worth finding and seeing actual item. I will search where to see one. Official homepage didn't specify, unfortunately. You know? Oops, that's Japan-only brand. Sorry, not available for you.
My long-time waited "Alain Mikli" glasses back! See this:
Scratch!!!Why not in perfect condition after repair? I bet that this was made in the process of assembly. Especially when screwing in. I didn't recognize it when in store... BUT WILL GO BACK TOMORROW MORNING to raise a claim about it. Sure! Not my fault! Still have a receipt!!! (important, folks!)
Yeah, am very upset... not disappointed. Different, okay!
That's basically it. Oh, I slept a lot! Hahaha.

June 18, 2004 =Make a Difference? |
Different world is just one right away... Make sense? Try this: One single phone call made a day totally changed. It did happen today and I was one of the victims.
Very same client with whom I had meeting on Thursday called me up and the stuff received this morning wasn't fully met required specification. Goods were actually of hand work since machine production came with some flaw... called "flash."
Quantity demanded for Monday was 700 and hand work takes time... like four people do work on every single peach and verified visually with microscope since it was very tiny item.
Many people from Product Engineering and Quality Control Department joined and worked for more than several hours. Precisely, from 5pm till 11pm. No kidding... no fiction... very true!
While, I had to deal with some urgent quote to prepare. Took me a while also since that type of doing was totally new to me. Not usual process it was. Finally, left work a little after 11pm. Long day.
Well, I should be thankful that this work didn't delayed into weekend. It could have.

June 17, 2004 =Emergency |
Live from Mos Burger in Minamiosawa... Hey, this update is not LIVE... Am just writing my stuff in this restaurant. I shouldn't exaggerate much, okay? Hehehe. I can never stay online indefinitely... just time to time and upload the data so that you can brown most updated information. You know how it works.
Anyhow, yes, am in this restaurant... finished supper and read some magazines. After writing this, will hit home... shortly.
Biz took place in Gumma was successful? Well, better than expected. Good stuff for me. Didn't take much long time, either. It was good approach that people (customer's end) held different responsibility got together and I drew a contingency plan of some controversial item... came with flash out of the molding process.
People from Quality Assurance, Production Engineering, and Procurement got to the table with me... Good move it was.
My company for today was Kojima of Product Designer (male ) and he was good assistance for me to insist how we should go hereafter to those people faced over the table. Approach was surely and reasonably understanding, I guess. I acquired all understandings and clarified the near-future schedule. Still tough for us to keep it... but no choice at this stage since flash issue is not anyone else's but ours for 120 percent.
Left Sagamihara around 10:30am and it was around 2pm in Isesaki, Gumma. Meeting was over around 3:45pm... and came back to the office around 5:40pm. No heavy traffic today. Unlike other days when I went by myself (how come?).
Anyway, the day was short... somewhat productive... and good relief from pain (called "stress").
Good night.
In the middle of rainy season... where is low pressure?

June 16, 2004 =Home Early? |
Good evening. Huh? Is this wallpaper bad?! Some readers, like friend Foyer, claimed that this colorful (?) wallpaper makes it difficult for all to read words. Agree or disagree?
What do you want me to do? No wallpaper at all? No fashion needed here?
Still half way of a week, huh. I feel like it were close to end of week. Am still dealing with problem and decided to hit the road to Gumma tomorrow ONCE AGAIN. A meeting is scheduled at 2pm. I should be back in town around 6pm... at earliest. Probably later than that.
8am, punched a clock... and left work around 7:30pm. Long? It was okay... several small (smaller than usual, I mean) meeting (gathering?) took place for the issue of moment. Looked extremely bad for now and am sure that this would be raised as issue internally... I mean, more people at work are expected to be aware. For your note, am not the one having caused the issue! Hahaha.
Friend Kirk hadn't called me for a long time... until today. It was surely 1st time in long time... Even though "long-time-no-see" thing is between us, we always can (and will be able to) communicate like we do everyday each other. Sounded so fine and he really wanted to push me to do things like some exercise (like for some ocean splash) and cooking. Somehow he has been interested in pushing me to be able to cook. What would you think? Is he right?
Well, he and I agreed to held a potluck soon.
Learned about gout on TV... man, very scary... I should watch out what to eat and get some exercise... wow, Kirk is right!

June 15, 2004 =Good Drink? |
Just came home. I know, it's late... went out for drinks tonight. Didn't plan to... Miura and Mimura called me to join and didn't hesitate at all since no plans for tonight after work.
Came back from a bar called "Desmo" near Sagamihara Station. First time visit for me. It was pretty cool... good jazz music and cool interior. Would go there again soon.
Good drink? Sure... am drunk! Hahaha.
What about work? Man, it really sucked. Yesterday's trouble still goes on and even some worse news on same issue really came up. Hopeless, I would call it. What should I do to make a difference?! Don't carry that much expertise to make it happen (yet).
Late... passed the midnight already. I have to cut this short in order for me to go to bed early. Good night, folks.

June 14, 2004 =Bad Day? |
Sick? Not quite... but I feel so down.
In addition to that kind of feeling I had all day long, things (notably "troublesome" issues) got piled up in front of me! How come?! I saw my horoscope for today... and it looked pretty okay, not as bad as actually was.
Man, I received so many calls saying some claim and immediate actions were needed to take.
No wonder I left work late... later than usual. Now, I don't intend to write much in here. Tired.
At least, I've taken care of laundry. Good night.

June 13, 2004 =No Luck |
Not my day... folks. Believe me. Didn't have any piece of luck for myself... who showed up in Ginza for shopping. Could've been serious shopping day... but didn't.
Movie... wanted to see "Troy." Timing wasn't good at all and I checked two different theaters in Ginza. No luck.
Regal (Japanese shoe brand) - I wanted to buy blue leather shoes... my size was out of stock.
999.9 (called "Four Nines" eyeware brand) - found two pairs --- almost bought (at least) one... but didn't. Reason? Because it was simply financially challenging! Hahaha.I guess, something wrong inside myself... after the treatment of dentist yesterday. I felt not so well and I had to come home after supper with MoonFlower. Sushi... didn't eat much, either.
No energy left when arriving Tamasakai Station. Didn't hesitate to grab a cab... so instantly and didn't mind to pay 10 bucks or so for a ride. Now I think that it was even right decision.
I am going to rest early.

June 12, 2004 =Dentist |
Easy Saturday?! Since having an appointment with dentist, didn't have much time to be lazy this morning. In fact, I was LATE to be at dentist. My bad! Hahaha.
Long time... more than an hour or two... I kept my mouth open without break! Really! Crazy? I know. No anesthesia or laughing gas! Pain?! Not quite. More like cleaning. Or better say, "whitening."
Cost more than I guessed. 200 bucks. I know, medical doesn't come cheap. Am I happy with result?! Not bad...
For rest of afternoon, no activity... Watched TV a little bit and took a nap. How about tomorrow?! I should schedule something to freshen up!
Friend Emi sent me a message that she really enjoyed herself with "School of Rock." Yeah, no doubt! Haven't seen it yet? You should check your local theater to see still around.

June 11, 2004 =Gumma2 |
Long way... to Gumma. Yeah, one of SERIOUS business days here. Gathered all documents required for meetings and left work around 11am. Had wanted to leave around 10-ish in the first place.
Yeah, I missed to be at President's briefing scheduled at 1pm. Well, missed much out there?
Drove around 3 hours. Longer than expected. Heavy traffic? Well, bad weather, too. Raining all day long today.
Did all go well? Well, for me, it was very painful... had so much difficulty catching up with technical terms that customers implied. Man, it all made me feel like longer time than actually was. You know, what I mean. I felt like there would be no end... Well, there was.
Finally, I got to leave Gumma around 5pm. Another 3-hour-trip thereafter. Back in office around 8-ish.
Coworker Hirano got me in the office and he insisted to go out for dinner together. He had something about men's talk. So we went out. Oh, I've got a call from Tommy in Utsunomiya.
"So everything is all right with you?"
Somehow he used such phrase in English. Is he native from English speaking nation? Of course, not. Hahaha, I guess, that's his character.
Dinner took place... didn't know that it would take long time... Not food-wise. More talk-wise. Fun? Well, serious, I may add.
Anyhow, it's all over! Let's dress down.

Hi, folks... Just watched "GI Jane." First time to see that movie... I only stuck with sexy Demi... all the way... up to tonight. Didn't intend to see her shaving her head! No muscle needed for such woman!
Came hone later from work and didn't see that movie completely. Just last half or so.
Tired.
I have to make this short and hit my sack as soon as possible. Not today... to stay up late. I cannot. Can't stand. What really made day long? Well, I was in the meeting for whole afternoon. In fact, I presided it. That's part of my work as sales.
While doing such in the meeting room, received more than several calls from customs wanting something out of myself. Hey, do you know a phrase as "Today Ain't Your Day" thing? You know, I cannot serve everyone everyday! I choose one or two!
Well, one more day to go. I shouldn't complain much. Too bad that I won't be in the office pretty much all day tomorrow when the president of company visits. There is a briefing scheduled... I wish I could be there for it. Well, some other time.
Portable Wireless Base Station from Apple --- available in coming July.
I WILL BUY.

June 9, 2004 =No English, Please! |
Hey, hey, hey! No English, please!
This morning, I went to Sagamihara Station to pick up two gentlemen from Soul, Korea... I heard that they were able to speak English... though, I didn't have any (literally ANY!) communication with them. While, trainee from Korea's office who went with me did all communication in Korean.
I wasn't part of the meeting... (Thank God!) I was merely a chauffeur. While that meeting was in progress, received a call from Korea... the guy over the phone was very nervous in speaking English... I told him to hold since transferring to the person he wanted to speak. Though, that man wasn't confident in understanding what we communicated, so he hang up on me trying to connect to right person!!!
I guess, it was Korean Day... and not my turn.
At early evening, picked up and answered a phone call. It was from U.K. Sure! Didn't have any trouble to take a message! Hahaha.
Lack of sleep! Went to bed around 2am last night (this morning?). Hmmm, where is my beauty sleep? How come so late? Glued to late show on TV? (no way...)
Wonderful night for soccer fan? 7-0 against India. Director Zico should have some easy moment at least for tonight? Still, way to World Cup 2006 isn't that flat...

June 8, 2004 =Fukui - Reunion |
Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening... You're always welcome to see me online... anytime (virtually any convenient time of yours!).
Ex-coworker Fukui was in town and I had to wrap up my job quickly as possible... Though, I was caught in some trouble in last half of the day and I was late to meet him! You know, I left work like were running away from the office. Didn't mean to... just coincidence to appear that way at a scene. My bad.
What trouble? I had to fight some dimensions... with some tolerance of one-hundredth centimeter. Too much detail? Sure, it was. At least, I got so much help in Quality Control team and I mostly spent time in that department.
Anyhow, back to the story that I saw friend Fukui for dinner. I picked him up at Hashimoto Station and drove down to Tama Center area. Showed around this area... He used to be in this area on and off and had some familiarity. He was so astonished with such change which had had been made. Did he have ex-girlfriend in this area? Thought so.
Spent time in a restaurant. Full of talk from work of his and of mine. Exchanged opinions of how work place should be, etc. He did always fascinated me with his view for a life and no exception tonight. He could be great motive for me to work hard (er?). Definitely, life-time friend and good competition. I owe him much! Hehehe.
From 7pm through 9:30pm... didn't feel much about anything else but the talk with him. Very fruitful time. We made a promise each other that we would stay in touch.
Some inside information given about current work environment at previous work place... didn't surprise me much... within my exception for long term. Although, not making me any happier for sure.
C2 (by Coke) - Boss Mimura was drinking... I saw him drinking at his desk... Asked him if liked it or not... He made a comment that he would stick with the original. "If you want to have no calories, do not drink it at all," he said. Complende!

June 7, 2004 =A? B? or C? |
Good evening, folks in Ogaki... and rest of the world! Hahaha. Tonight, I have gone crazy... out of control. How come?! So many people now (finally?) think that I have been such geek! Nerd? Same thing, damn it! Hahaha.
Why such mood? Well, because of this weather! Typical June... rained almost all day long and now sort cloudy... what left after all then?! HUMIDITY! or "Humedad" in Spanish.
Frozen yogurt? Ice cream? Give it to me!
Usual Monday began with morning meeting... No fun talk in there... was bored, disappointing with such (serious) talk. You know, I like "out-of-line" talk. You too? Welcome to the club, man.
Then, rest of the morning, I came to listen to very fan talk by coworker Arai who just came back from Thailand. Yeah, he went on and on talking about how things were in that country. He seemed having fallen in love with the place... I thought he spent a whole week or so... but just 3 days. He described how things were so great over there... FOODS, place, and GALS. He referred the country to HEAVEN.
What would you think? Too much? Exaggeration? Could be... though, at least he wouldn't mind to go there again soon. Anyhow, you can see how easily I spent the entire morning with interesting episodes.
For afternoon session, I was mostly stuck in the meeting. Long one and so many people were there... as almost (or possibly more than) 20 people in a room. While in the meeting, things were piled up on my desk... including some urgent issue to solve. WOW!
One last thing for today. New stuff called "C2" by Coke... have you got one yet? I finally got one this evening and tried to taste it. Only initial taste seemed different... then became all as usual. It would be like you started seeing some new girl... but after a little moment, you wouldn't differentiate that date from previous ones. Agree?

June 6, 2004 =Still Tomorrow? |
"The Day After Tomorrow"Global warming? Have you seen this movie yet? According to Yahoo! Movies site, this movie has been rated as "C+" by critics and "B" by general viewers. I guess, this wasn't as great as "Shrek 2" movie. Hmmm, cannot do same comparison since I haven't even seen Shrek at all before.
Tak's rating? Well, somewhat difficult. I give B+!
Man, rainy day really troubled me to find a parking space for myself... Very crowded at almost every single parking lot that I checked. One last place... in fact, farthest one... and that meant that I had to walk for a while. Yeah, unfortunately.
Maybe that is why that movie didn't get A from me? Hahaha.
Yes, surely there is a day tomorrow for us.

June 5, 2004 =Still Shopping? |
Probably the biggest outlet shopping mall in Japan... called "Premium Outlet" in Gotemba, Shizuoka. About an hour and half away (by driving) from where I live. Took me TWO hours to go down to Yokohama for MoonFlower... Never took that long. Anyhow, went on to the Mall and biggest shopping day of year (?) began.
Sweets (crape) became a great company to us on such a long day?!
It wasn't my day but hers... MoonFlower didn't hesitate to rely on power from the plastic... I bet that she was very brave... She was more like man than I who was actually male... Hahaha, what a cynicism!
No big spending for me... though, I had to pick up some trousers and T-shirt. Least spending like 50 bucks in total. Wise?! Nope, simply I couldn't afford anymore! (poor thing!)
Had never been to that place before... certainly it was BIG and great. Lots of famous brands like Gucci, etc.
Long day, it really was. Long drive, too. Who paid toll? Man, it was me... and she did shopping... Right picture?

June 4, 2004 =Wow, Sexy? |
Movie "Cutie Honey"
Based upon animation... that I used to see on TV. Very cute girl "Honey" had special privilege that her father who was killed by evil who wanted to have power he invented. In original animation, Honey puts so many different costumes and that really fascinated viewers then.
In this movie, no exception. Eriko Sato - famous sexy actress played Honey's role. Perfect match? Eri and Honey, huh... I cannot complain much.
Ogaki-jin - age at 31... still watched such movie... that no one else would see. Hey, it would be same thing like you see "Spiderman" or "Superman"... "Batman" and what else, who else.
Oh, don't call me GEEK, okay!
C+ --- I give.

June 3, 2004 =Long Way! |
Long drive... by myself. I can say that it was all about today! Hehehe. Left office for client's place in Gumma Prefecture... around noon. Did expect to drive for 2 and half hours! As far as I presume to go at speed limit...
You know, if I had driven my car... I would have gone and got the destination quicker... but it wasn't so because I was driving small car. Precisely, took me two and half hours. Didn't get lost at all... although didn't look at the map much.
So how things went?
Two meeting took place and they were all okay. One last thing... I had to submit new product... and I was given an instruction how to submit. I had to go to a place and two... The process was very pain (in my butt). Bring the goods to a place... and getting the paperwork signed at another place... and then, showing that paperwork to some personnel in the other side of factory, etc. Very hectic. No wonder that no one, besides me would like to do such job! Hahaha.
I guess, I was quite brave to do so... I should've let delivery company who always come here for us do the job!
Thank God... didn't come to hit the evening rush hour much. Came back to the office around 6:30pm.
Am quite beat tonight. Well, one more day to go, right?! (am sure that same for you, too)

June 2, 2004 =Wow! |
7 winning streak?! For whom? Not for my Dragons! In fact, Giants swept Dragons away two nights in a row... and completed a 7-winning streak tonight. Dragons are now replaced with Giants in leading position of the league. My god!
Sneezed. More than several times during at work. Must be from casual sleep (i.e. late night nap) last night. Man, don't want to catch any (cold)!
Stayed at work until 9pm... quite late... compared to usual days around for me! You know, I am no longer (ever after from when?) workaholic... Tonight, it was merely exception. I had to stay... some unsolved issue there... Well, the problem wasn't of mine... but I had to involve. You know, "It happens!" Hey, didn't spell "S-," right?! Am trying to be nice, okay? Hehehe.

June 1, 2004 =Slept-in... |
If I hadn't slept in all the way from 9pm throughout the night, I would have updated this page for you! Unfortunately, that sleep was very sound to myself and didn't even show slightest sign of getting up to do so.
Tired? I guess so. I went out for dinner after work. Wanted something vegetable.
I guess, that healthy (? --- Still oily?) dish energized me much... except one lacking - sound sleep. My body was very honest reacting... regardless to what brain produced as my thought to do after dinner. Hmmmm. Anyhow, I felt a sleep around 9pm... while watching TV... and got up around 1am... when realized that I needed to stay in futon rather than just in blanket.
It was very sound of sleep, though. Am thankful to you who are patiently spending a day without my update here. Hahaha.
