For last day of the month, I work on my computer from very early morning. For what? Well, no reason. Just I feel like I want to make the other PowerBook connect to home wireless server in addition to current main machine.
Black one in picture, PowerBook 2400c hasn't been hooked to the network at all since the installation of AirMac "AirPort" Express. That was because I thought that 2400c's wireless LAN card isn't compatible with the Express.
I was wrong. Awfully wrong! So I realize today. After several hours of intensive labor (!), the success of connection comes into my hand!!! Now I have dual machine hooked to the network. In other words, I can surf Internet with two distinctive machine... only if I have four hands and two heads <BANG!
Though, seriously, this is beneficial for someone like me. I know, I write a lot for this website. While doing the work on my homepage, the computer can neither afford its memory allocation nor browse some Internet site. For now with benefit of two different machine in front of me, I can let one computer doing work for the website and I can see some information off the site on Internet with the other machine. Wow!
Yeah, call me geek!
Otherwise, nothing really happens for the day. Just end of the month, right?! Too fast.

July 30, 2005 =TOO DARN HOT! |
Yeah, this is exactly what the summer weather is like. Really hot and humid. No way for me to stay outside doing something. In other words, it is perfect day for me to stay COOL inside the house. Yep, I stick with TV and computer screen all day long! Plus, I have a great nap! Hehehe.
Friend Kelly in ATL emails me... first time in a long long time! Great to hear from you, girl! I should reply immediately. She worries about my neck pain. Yeah, not that serious I guess, though bothering for sure.
Get up around 9am. Hit the shower. Then walk in to the coffee place just around the corner. Breakfast with iced coffee and I end up staying in for a hour. Don't intend to. Just comfortable to stay.
After that, I come home and stay. Watching TV... different programs (except dirty movies <BANG!).
Surely, laundry is done. Clothes get dried so soon. I do how many times?! More than twice today. I am supposed to clean this apartment room... however, it is too hot for me to do it all. Probably tomorrow.
Oh, hit the (small... very small) jackpot. The lottery of new trade in some stock exchange in coming month takes place and I win. I can buy some shares with that winning ticket. Well, don't know that it is worth to invest or not. Oh, first of all, don't have such luxury at all!!! Yeah, let's withdraw!
It was easy to register... by clicking the button on the net... so I did... In other words, I have no intention to buy those stocks?! Hmmm.
Gee, one of cases for eyeglasses gets broken. Man, one of favorites! Yeah, the case for wavy glasses I have. That means that I have to replace it with new one. Hmmm, costly. Do you spare one for me? <BANG
Tomorrow I try to get up early! Maybe some movie to see.

Serena - not a girl (by Britney). It's name of mini van by Nissan. We recently got brand new Serena as company vehicle and I come to a chance to drive around today.
Well, I have no interest in such large family car right now since no family use for me. Well, it is fun to drive, though. Large windows creates wide view for drivers and all passengers. Easy to handle the vehicle; makes driver feel smaller in size than actually is. Lots of interior options and various seats arrangements. Man, full of features!
It looks like great buy. Are you interested?
No meetings both internally and externally. That means all go smoothly? Well, I can say that it is calm.
Three quotations prepared. Samples sent. Remind some clients to issue an order. Prototype good received. What else...
Leave work early for clinic. Don't get full treatment today since the office hour is about to close. Though, it helps. I have better feeling in my shoulder and neck. Feel light (about stiff shoulders/neck) and right!
Stop by dry cleaner to drop this week's stuff and pick up last week's. Supper at same noodle shop that I first ate last week. Choose a Miso-base noodle bowl this time. Different thickness of noodles. Tasty. Yeah, this is to be added to my list! Most definitely.
Then home finally. Around 10pm.
Yeah, I know that there is a party taking place in Tokyo... including Boss Ito to attend. Hmmm, it could be great reunion... though, I choose rehab over the festivity. You know, health concern comes first right now. Though, I miss great spree!

In the middle of afternoon, I pick up the phone and answer single call from Chiba Police. I instantly think that it is so unfortunate that I get caught.
Wait a minute! For what I may be caught?! Have I done anything wrong?! Well, I am not sure!!! Hehehe.
Important of all, that phone call from the authority isn't for me at all. Hahaha! Let's laugh...
For work, everything is of domestic and I try to deal with as much paper work as possible. Well, I stay in the office until 8:30pm or so... I do all I can, right?! Well, I guess so.
I just ask MoonFlower whether others like her new sunglasses or not. That is because I have no input from her since the purchase. You know, everyone wants to share such good feeling when others tell how nice your new item is. Maybe her Alain Mikli was too vivid and too eccentric for normal person like her?! Hmmm.
Sun light is limited until tomorrow and the weather is not that favorable in this weekend?! Too bad.
Since I skip the clinic's treatment today, I have to plan to go tomorrow. Yeah, I have to leave the office early enough to be at the clinic before the reception closes. Time limit? Well, I have to leave the work around 6:30pm.
Neck hurts! Worst.

Well, just talk to buddy tkoich over SKYPE. He is in somewhere - like in Taiwan?! Well, at least he sounds so well and must have been enjoying too much. Well good for him.
Too bad that he cannot make the next off line meeting among my friends. I wish he could be there.
I have no other news for you. It's late... almost 1am. Yep, passed my bed time.
Apple iTune Music Store is going to open its door to Japan's market so soon? There is a rumor that it holds an opening party on August 4th. Surely, I am NOT invited.
Not only iBook is upgraded... but also iMac Mini is so. Wow, there are too many options for me for very next purchase?! What about PowerBook G5? Hmmm, that hasn't come yet. Maybe not ever...
Oh, I start this working day with very uncomfortable call with some (new) client. It is totally unpleasant. Not because of my attitude but because of the mood of that person (over the phone). I hate such phone call... which he hangs up on me speaking in the middle of some topic. Yeah, it's business; I have to suck it up! Hmmm.

Typhoon # 7 (of the year) called "Banyan" is just passing by. Well, not direct hit to this area where I live. Though, tons of rain falls dropped and everyone on the way to and back from work get SOAKED!
You know, it's awfully stink when I sweat in clothes and rain fall get those clothes wet. Yuk!
Oh, space shuttle Discovery is now lift off and gone to space! Japanese astronaut Noguchi, just right before boarding, shows his own sign saying "OUT TO LAUNCH" which makes me giggle. Pretty cool punch line! I quite like it.
Yeah, he is out to space for 12 days? Hehehe. Make sure that you will come back safely!
Gee, by very close call, I am almost get my ass kicked even though I am not the one who cause all trouble for some particular issue! I just want to help and do all I can. I guess, I should've NOT given my hand on to the issue because dog doesn't only bark at me but also bites my hand! Hehehe.

Yesterday, I sent out a notice that I held an off-line meeting for all friends of mine. The date is August 27th. I receive some responses already and many of them are positive. I guess, everyone wanted to attend some event like this one?! Maybe, perfect timing?! If you're in Japan and interested in showing up to Tokyo Dome area on that particular date, please let me know! I certainly welcome your participation. Don't be shy.
Apple introduces updated its "iBook G4" and it appears very attractive. There is virtually no difference from its top line under PowerBook brand?! I guess so. Well, I would feel like I downgrade my level of use in entire computing when I use iBook G4 rather than any of PowerBooks. Would you?

Not completely drunk yet but surely drank a little. Within my capacity; am quite under control! Tonight, there is a party for welcome... to all new faces. Plus, there are two guys recently made announcements that they would get marry in Fall.
Therefore, we combine two big news that are of new comers to sales force and of some fellows to get married soon.
For work. Usual. Since party is schedule for tonight, I decide to stay in! Hahaha. Well, not because of that buy because of some domestic issues to take care. Somewhat busy.
Crazy party it is. Yeah more than I expected prior to the festivity. For me, it is first time to drink beer for a long time. I usually choose some other alcohol beverage such as tequila, etc.
Pay day! Most important of all, isn't it? IT IS!!!
Since I get paid, I just place a request to my bank to wire transfer some money like several hundred dollars to my creditor. Yep, I have less debt tomorrow than today! Hehehe.

To Aoyama area for shopping today with MoonFlower. Well since she sleep in, I don't have to run to the station. I have a plenty of time to get ready. In fact, I go to Aoyama way before MoonFlower does! Good for me.
First she and I decide to pick up her brand new glasses at shop called "Cradle." Unfortunately, a pair that I place an order for is not yet in. Therefore, MoonFlower gets what she wants while I keep waiting! Hmmm.
Then, lunch. Kind of French. Though, I choose very American type dish for myself. Hahaha. STEAK. First time in a long time to feed myself with such fattening. Ha!
How does this plate serve?! Well, taste OKAY. No further comment.
Probably, I won't go back to very same restaurant on Kotto Street for this dish. I may for other dish on the menu... MAYBE. How does MoonFlower like that place?! Well, her opinion seems not to be too far from mine.
Yeah, just borrow MoonFlower's brand new sunglasses!
Hmmm, how come NOT she wears and appears here?! Hehehe.

Some change is made. Magic number is not 40 but now 60. Good? Bad?! Well, doesn't make any difference. Am quite indifferent; I should be. What matters is not that number. Result matters.
Since MoonFlower has some other man to see <BANG, I enjoy my entire freedom for today. Hahaha.
Don't intend to; I perfectly sleep in. Yeah, am quite lazy.
Mild temperature really makes me feel good to stay home for nothing. Windows are widely open for all day and all night. Cool breeze in. Though, suddenly earthquake occurs. BIG ONE. Magnitude 5 level? Shocking!
Well, no damage around here. Hope that everyone is okay.
Picture. Yeah from Ramen noodle shop not too far from where I live. That is the place that I have wanted to checked out for a long time though, I don't get a chance till today. There is limited parking spaces! (my complaint)
How is the taste?! Well, very dry and simple! Though, sort my favorite. I will try different soup next time.
Channel 8 (TV station) runs its annual 25 hour long special program. Lots of comedies and (practical) jokes. Stupid... but surely funny. I am glued to TV screen throughout the night! Hehehe. Are you too?

Happy Birthday, MoonFlower!!! Yeah, it's her BIG-THREE BD... you know! Well, I send some flowers... image below is what it may look like.
How sweet I am about sending such flowers? Well, you know, this is the best way to save money from your pocket! Sending flowers can be cost-effective to giving what she wants! What if she wants very expensive check book or top brand clothes?! You know what I mean.
Therefore, this is "strategic" present and am sure that she's quite happy (happier than usual?) with this delivery. Well, the concept of this good-smell gift is "BIRTHDAY CAKE." You now, this is boxed gift and flowers are decorated on the plate. Perfectly interesting, huh?!
Yeah, MoonFlower's mother really thought that her daughter received a birthday cake. Hmmm, she's gets trapped that easily.

What a day! I start this particular day with fixing computer system. Yeah, I found that there were some corrupted files in the folder of home page. It was too late for me to pinpoint the problem. Therefore, I do that in early morning... yeah, right before going to office.
Call me nerd or even geek, will you! Hahaha.
Evacuation? Explosion? "Tube" and bus again? No kidding? If true, that is a nightmare for London.... Hope this won't cause panic into stock and economic markets over the world. Hope that damage from that incident will be minimum. Well, down the road, Tokyo is surely a big target since Japan sends self-defense forces to Iraq in favor of Bush's request.
I am at the conference in the afternoon. It talks about EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) - data sending issue. Since when I become IT personnel? I never do! Hehehe. Well, it is rather introduction and I learn the concept. Plus, I fall to a sleep <BANG! You know, some guy sitting next to me sleep much longer than me who just doze off for a second.
Finally today, first time in this week, I go to clinic for rehab. Feel better. Though, minor stiff neck occurs. Man, I should get rid of that as soon as possible!
Well, I suffer this week from all possible problematic issues of work. I guess, I can call this week peaceful. Well, maybe not if tomorrow becomes disaster. Hahaha.

Buddy-slash-mentor Foyer just calls me up with Skype. Yeah, long time no talk! Great to hear from ya. Thanks for calling. Well, he is actually one of very few "buddies online."
Lots to be covered between us. We do have distinctive differences in status... he's married while I am single. He's self-employed. I am employed. He has family and I do not. What else... oh, age, too. he's old (-er) and I am STILL young (-er).
Though, whatever we talk about, it is coincident that we have very similar, virtually same, value toward life. Hence, it is always pleasure that I tell him something that I truly believe or want. So easy to talk to. Thank him for such a great friendship. Just exactly what I need. Hope he has similar feeling toward me... (maybe not? hahaha)
Oh, sorry about late update of my promise for year 2005. They all look good besides a commitment for me to go to ball games. Well, ball season is half way and I should hurry to get tickets!!!

Yeah, I move between the office and factory... within the same premise because I have to check out a couple of new products that are first produced today. Well, actually there are two different mass production items. First one that I see in early afternoon turns out to be good in judgement. However, the other one in late afternoon is determined not good at this point.
If okay for this tooling, no major change is made. Further product analysis takes place.
In case of NG, the tooling is sent back to manufacturing process for either major or minor remodeling.TWO others are still on my list... Hope all come to be okay on time! Don't know if such wish of mine comes true that easily.
High school baseball... prefectural championship takes place in Gifu like others. Ogaki Commerce wins in the first elimination today after Ogaki North and Ogaki Nichidai. Hope all those Ogaki schools beat all from other regions! Hehehe.
Dragons (pro-baseball) now records a 6 winning streak?! Good for them! They are now in second place after Tigers (Oh, forget about Tokyo Giants). Hope that Dragons will keep its pace and eventually beat Tigers for the season!
No clinic-going today. I miss the timing to get out of the office for that purpose. Well, will see if possible to do so tomorrow. Oh, a meeting is scheduled at 4pm... It is unlikely that I can get relaxing treatment.

Back to work after a weekend. NOT YET? You enjoy this extended weekend of 3 days?! Good for you! Well, I presume that most of you do so. Unlike you, I have to work. Notably, I have to make a short trip for an important meeting.
Working too seriously?! Tell me about it! Hehehe.
As you can see in that picture, I hit the holiday traffic and that traffic jam is bad!!! Man, all other cars around are personal ones... Although, I drive company car with corporate logo on it. Yeah, I definitely look working for the day to others who are on the way back from wherever their leisure points may be.
Good business meeting? Well, don't know. At least, I succeed to secure better understanding from customer who have been irritated by out slow action (of course, we don't mean so at all).
Very hot today. Yep, officially today, rainy season is over in this part of Japan. Same for Ogaki today! In other words, it is officially SUMMER here! Man, time's ticking... I should get busy!
One bad news here. My order of new glasses by Alain Mikli is still pending and the good is now expected to be in sometimes in early August. Man, how awful! Am very disappointed by this news. Is there any other way to get the pair for me?! Hmmm.
Hey, I may run out of my patience!!! My kind of patience doesn't last long, you know!

Yeah, about time it is. Finally, I get a chance to come to movie theater for a movie... NEVER for wallet searching <BANG!
With this story, all come to disclose their origins such as the birth of Darth Vader, etc. Yeah, I truly didn't know of TWINS whom Padme gives birth to. Did you?
How in the world can R2D2 move that quickly?! Hahaha.
Well, great movie! Surely worth buying DVD copy when it comes to store's shelf. No doubt that I will get one for myself. Oh, I should mention of only criticism that I have for this movie. I am quite disappointed with the fight scene between Anakin and Obi-Wan. Anakin shouldn't get killed that easily after that long fight!
Have you seen this movie yet? Don't wait!
Did I tell you that I bought a packet of "Summer Jumbo" lottery tickets? Cost me JPY3,000 or 30 dollars in equivalent for 10 tickets. The highest in the prize?! Over a million!!! Yeah, I can pay off all debts when I win the top prize! Hahaha.

Busy morning I come to have. Two bookings... I begin my day later than previously planned. Yeah, I should get up early enough to do all what I plan! I know so.
Go to clinic for Saturday routine rehab. Man, the waiting room is definitely packed and I have to wait for a while... Usually, I quickly check in and proceed to upstairs for the healing process. I get bored for a while... longer than thirty minutes. Totally unexpected. Around 10am, I start worrying about following appointment which is scheduled for 11am at the dentist located in the other side of town.
Well, don't want to reschedule the dentist's appointment. Hence, I think about cancelling the rehab for today. Well, I am called for the rehab when I really decide to cancel. Well, rehab takes place and completes 10 minutes before 11am.
The time of 10 minutes is definitely insufficient for me to drive all the way down to the dentist. Drive fast!!! Hehehe.
First time to this dentist in half year or so. I clearly remember of the period when I come to this place back in this winter for serious root-canal treatment which costs MUCH to me!
This time, strictly with cleaning and routine check-up. Some new (and yet cute!) lady in the office and she sits next me. She is in charge of check-up and cleans my (dirty and uniquely-located) teeth. Somehow, I am consulted with result of check-up by that young lady. She informs me that my condition is 89 points out of 100 points. She says that I am qualified on top rank and that there is nothing to worry about.
I say back to her, "Yeah, after all those treatments that have been completed over years!" She certainly laughs! (CUUUUTe)
Then, DOC shows up and double-checks all based upon her check result. Things go so smoothly and, shortly after that, it is over. No re-visit required this time. Good surprise.
Long morning. Contrary to that, there is nothing for the afternoon. Watch TV. Baseball, some drama, and "The Open." Tiger is pretty consistent this time, huh. Yeah, Tiger will roar, right?

Yeah, on the way to customer's place, I drive following the trailer since it carries 4 Lotus cars. They look so cool and I pay attention not to the road or others but to this trailer.
Long day... particularly at night. Here is a glance for you:

During the entire time of search, I check inside of my car more than several times... if wallet falls underneath of the seat, etc.
Finally in the parking lot of the movie place, red wallet is recovered with no loss of content including cash. Yeah, it is inside the car... Obviously, I don't see that part of car well since it is dark. In fact, I make a withdrawal of 500 dollars during the day since there is no cash before then. Yep, I really make up my mind NOT to mind about that big cash is gone. Seriously.
Well once again, there is no damage... I guess, ending comes in peace. Yeah, I am saved. Though, there is a GREAT DISPARITY between the plan and reality... Although I make two round trips to the movie theater, no movie is checked out. My fault!!!
Yeah, you can laugh this all away with me!

Hi, folks! It's humid night here. Is it so in your place?! Well, I am quite tired for this week and quite ready for time to rest! Yeah, I will have no plan for this weekend to be relaxed... That's my plan! Hehehe.
Lots of issues for me to solve... and am quite fed up with them? Sure!!! No hassle!!!
Though, the problem is problem. Several coworkers and I have to mull over some thorny deal with some customer. Seemingly, there is no victory in going to one way or another. Customer wins and we either lose the whole game (i.e. biz) or keep smaller portion of biz than currently we do. Yeah, sort lose-lose game for us!
No need to mull like that? Well, at last we have to see what we can do to prevent all biz to go away! You know, I don't want to lose anything so easily! I want to be tough! For that, entire brain of mine intends to function in full force!!! No wonder that I feel great fatigue at right this moment.
Yep, clinic day. After work. I leave office around 6:30pm and rush into the clinic. I barely make it and all rehab is complete. Feel better? This time, yes.
Oh, I see some coworker with much of cash in his hand running back and force in the third floor at work. Why he is doing that?! Don't know. However, it is surely big money... even though almost all seem to be 1,000 yen bills. Don't know how much there are... I just want to take that role over and run away! <BANG
British Open comes to the opening tonight! Wow!!! Tiger shoots 66 and is already IN CHARGE!!! Here he comes!!! And, Goosen follows right behind Tiger? Man, great casting already!
That's right - Jack Nicklaus is making final appearance to the British Open this time. How sad... We'll miss him.

Haven't heard from my darling sister Robyn... I quite miss her... who encourages me in any way I try and who I can trust most. I know, she dedicates almost all time of hers for school. I have no doubt that she's doing well. Plus, I wish her the good health - unlike mine! Hehehe.

Today, I have one new customer for the first time... As soon as I meet that gentleman, he looks like some celebrity lawyer who comes on TV quite often.
I almost ask him for consultant on my possible bankruptcy. Yeah, almost. Hehehe.
Did you see the All Star Game today? Ichiro made his "late" appearance (because not in the starting roster) even look so smart with 2 RBI's. Great job! Well, I don't see that on TV... Rather, I read about it in newspaper.
Hacking... isn't the term within my dictionary. However, I were like one hacking into our office's network. Hahaha. Well, I try to build wireless network over desk area where my sales group is located. Yeah, not by work's policy but by our will. Therefore, I am part of that small (hidden) project. I try to set that base station to entire corporate network.
Miserably fail. So badly. Do not intend such illicit (?) activity without network administrator authentication!!! I just need one for all this.
At the same time, I lose all previous setting in my ThinkPad. It means I lose the network access even via Ethernet. Oh boy! That even worsens the problem! Tomorrow, system people will get freak out by what I do...
Well, I am so desperate to fix all right away so that no one will notice of that activity... Definitely feel a pressure! Well after a while, I come to a solution with help of coworker Mimura. Man, so good to have it all back in place!
Hope all that fix is correct and NO ONE ELSE loses his/her network access tomorrow morning! I don't mean to make anyone else troubled.

Just see a news... on my everyday business resource - the program called "World Business Satellite." It reports that NYK - major steamship company of Japan agrees to acquire all shares of NCA - Nippon Cargo Air - from current parent company ANA - All Nippon Airways.
This is big surprise! NYK now extends its business concentration toward air freight field in addition to dominant ocean freighter operations which are worldwide basis. Plus, NYK has a large subsidiary called Yusen Air - a freight forwarder. In other words, it is going to be a mega freight company which covers both air and ocean so effectively with own-vessel and own-aircraft.
Just the other day, Mitsui OSK, another ocean giant, and Kintetsu Express, air freight dominant (after Nippon Express) agree with each other to collaborate their world operations. I receive very urgent request to complete. However, I, immediately after that, come to find a fact that there are no people in Product Engineering for today due to some training session taking place outside. In other words, I have no technical support to fulfil such request from customer. Hence, I can do nothing about.
No fear. I just become so BOLD about it. I call up customer and tell all about it. Precisely mention that there is nothing I can do for him... who really thought that it was easy to do for such a little request. DO NOT underestimate of what you want from others! There may be so much complication to do single work for you!
Oh, I see some sales person just dropping by. I guess, I sort kill time in talking with that gentleman. Fun, though. Anyway, no serious meeting for today at all. How peaceful! Hehehe.
Tuesday is for clinic. I "withdraw" myself right after 6pm... when everyone else is about to start work <BANG! Anyway, I rush into the clinic for rehab. Pain relieved? Yeah, somewhat. Though, pain in my mouth continues. From bad tooth? Hmmm, don't want to think that way at all... NO MORE NIGHTMARE!
Reader and ex-coworker Katsuta (female) just emails me with some friendly message. Yeah, I remember that you're big mother for now! So she doesn't work at all for now, I presume. I still cannot depict that you act like mother!!! Hahaha. Anyway, thanks bunch for your message and so nice to hear from someone like yourself!

New faces who graduated from colleges and universities and joined this company in April are now located as per assignment. To our site, more than a dozen of people makes their own introductions at morning gathering for all employees. To sales department, two guys are to join... though, not to my particular group. I guess, we in this group are considered fulfill all just needed and no new blood is necessary at this particular moment.
Hmmm. Don't know whether that is accurate observation.
Monday tends to be very domestic work for me and I follow exactly normal agenda like that. No appointments and I remain within the premise all the time for today. That is perfectly good since I don't want to go outside to sweat a bit!!! You know, handsome man, like me, cannot stink to disappoint all gals around! Hehehe.
I am busy tonight... yeah, I am home doing all. I get some exercise, take bath for a long time contrary to usual quick shower, and do some stretching. Wow! Sounds like one healthy dude to you? Hahaha.
Rather, am desperate. I need to cure all this pain all over my body. I can no longer suffer from stiff neck and shoulders!!!
Oh, suddenly COD? (cash on delivery) Yamato Transport guy shows up with a package. Medium size. That fellow asks me for payment of two hundred bucks at sight! Gee!!! Happen to have that much money with me... so I can get that box. What's in it? Well, I check it out later. <BANG!
First time in three months that Nikkei comes to 11,700 level? Very strong trend for now... The question is how long this can last.

Not SW yet... but "War of the Worlds" that I see today. Definitely, Tom (Cruise) isn't in usual figure... he is rather bad father... in the story! Hahaha.
How in the world did his son made safe arrival at Boston? That is never solved in my understanding.
Oh, I've gone too far, huh. I start my day early enough to let today's date go as smooth as possible. However, MoonFlower doesn't have such mood in this morning. Rather, she wants to sleep TOO tight. Even with my wake-up call to her, she continues to doze off. So everything becomes behind the schedule! (Hey, don't ask if there is such schedule in advance...)
Since neither of us has great luxury to spend on shopping, it is easy that we do things fun with minimized budget. So we choose move to see. NOT Star Wars... she has no interest to see it whatsoever since she is never familiar with the sage of Darth Vader. Plus, she is big fan of Tom Cruise. Therefore, the choice is obvious.
She gets disappointed with this movie, though. Too many unnatural creatures and gross look in many scenes, I guess.
For me, this story is not too exciting. Expectation was, in fact, raised by the fact that production of Spielberg with Tom Cruise in it. I guess, everyone's judgement is easily going to favor Darth Vader... Star Wars predominates in this popularity contest (even though I don't come to see it yet - funny, huh).

July 9, 2005 =Up to "Star Wars" Yet? |
Man, what have I done for today? Literally (of course, practically), nothing. I know, I feel ashamed that I planned to do something and I didn't do it at all. It's all my fault.
Get up around 8am... though, sleep keeps staying with me. It is so spontaneous that I stay dizzy... and sleep longer. In other words, I delay to get up!
Finally around 10am, get outside. Go to dry cleaner to drop my clothes off for service and continue to the usual cafe for breakfast. Check several newspapers as usual. Finish my morning coffee quicker than I think. Then, get back to my place by noon.
By the time getting back here, I feel like my day were complete. Hence, even stronger sleep hits me and I cannot resist. Eventually, I have to go into dream world once again! <BANG Longer than I think I remain in single dream. It is from 1pm though 4pm. Boy, plenty of rest, huh! That's not precisely what I would do for today, though.
From 4pm, 2nd half of my activity for the day begins.
Drop by the clinic for rehabilitation. I think I may stop additionally for massage; it is out of open hours when I come out from the rehab. I should combine both sessions to make all more effective to my body. I will do so for near future.
Look for place to eat. No hamburger or any type of fast food because they are not dietary-controlled. Plus, want to eat something spicy to make myself feel straight. Then, the Ramen noodles are off the list. Hahaha. Finally, I make up my mind. Totally new place, even though it is located not too far from where I live. Curry over rice is the dish for tonight. Spicy. I choose pork curry. Good stuff.
Afterward, don't come home straight. Rather, I go and check several shops... no big purchase since I am severely BROKE! Hehehe. Yeah, true, though. Yep, SERIOUSLY true.

Peaceful weekend is just coming up. Folks, this is good news... that "free" weekend is unexpectedly emerged. As reckoned, this weekend would have been full of personal concern. However, that concern is easily diminished and now I can forgo that personal issue. Of course, I make work for today, too.
Another good part of my current feeling is that this whole week is complete in confidence. All planned are under control and I can stay positive that current undergoing projects should proceed under my expectation. This certainly pleases me. Well, there are surely some issues that is counted to appear sometime next week. Though, I can hinder that worry toward next week! Hahaha.
Some reader has questioned what kind of glasses to be purchased. With picture uploaded in the other day's update on this website, it was somewhat difficult to see the pair in details. I agree. Fortunately, the larger image is available at the corner of some Internet site. This gives you definitely better clue about my very next purchase.

For Ogaki citizens, it is sort seasonal event to be part of cheers when Seino appears to the Tokyo Dome. In fact, I don't know of this year's reputation for the Team. Last year, there was good confidence to the citizens since many critiques mentioned positive side of team profile. However, the result didn't favor such opinions at all...
Well, weather is not so positive for those who love to do some activity over weekend. For me, doesn't make much difference since I am supposed to stay in and do nothing. Hmmm.
I have to gain physical strength not to hurt my back or neck which provide me with pains and some irritation for a long time so far.

Attack to the City of London? Man, horrifying! As you know by now, multiple blasts in the "tube" (i.e. subway) rock London. So many people are injured and even killed.
Hope this is going to be last scene of terrorist attack in this whole world!!!
NYSE begins its session with remarkably low number... loses 100 points or so. For now, the strength of upward trend seems to minimize the fear of such incidents. The number is upward, cutting the loss of 100 points by half. Hope it will not go too deep.
Work.
German customer shows up and I am part of small conference all done in English. Today, I feel different from all other similar situations. Apparently, I am not tally up to the event. I feel that I were not part of it and that someone else were speaking on my behalf. My English is quite low profile for today! Hehehe. True, though.
Either pain in shoulders and neck or some minor headache bothers me while doing all for the business with German customer. Anyway, I last myself to the end of event. Everything goes smoothly as previously hoped. I guess, I do my job for today.

Lastly, Team Seino, representing City of Ogaki, opens up its way to Tokyo Dome for National Championship. Congrats!

Well, last year Seino made Dome. I wanted to come to cheer Seino up... however, it didn't make even first elimination round. Hope it manages well to come to play several games so that I can make at least one of them!!! I love to see Seino in the Tokyo Dome.

Still pain remains... mostly on my left shoulder. Even my left jaw feels something different. Not pain but something irritating. Must be sort of muscle ache. Must be from that neck interrupts the blood circulation. When to be cured?! Hope it would be soon.
Work is at normal level. No calls from customer complaining! Hehehe. Have two appointments in the afternoon and they are definitely routine sales calls. Nothing really matters for new business or even potential <BANG!
I make a boo-boo in calculation for cost finding. Part of RFQ. Well, I thought that I did fine and double-checked. Obviously not. Well, coworker fixes what I made mistake and the my mistake doesn't go beyond our last defense line. Hahaha. It's true, though.
Gee, my schedule for tomorrow seems to be still under control. We expect some guests to this place and I have to be part of that event. That should be done by lunch time... so I have plenty of time in entire afternoon for my own issues.
However, Friday may not be that flat. It may be extremely wild if the situation worsens. Not official job to do but some personal stuff to take care. At this point, no further details available. Well, hope I can come to this weekend, peacefully.

Hmmm, pain once again. Have to rush into clinic for treatment. Feel better afterward?! Not quite yet. It is unlikely for me to get rid of such pain in my neck... for a long time?! Hope not.
Surely, such medical help does ease the stress that causes stiff neck and other pains. Though, just not completely yet.
In this morning, receive a call from my bank, SMBC. Regards to my request for wire transfer to some creditor of mine. However, that call brings a bad news that wire transfer is incomplete due to missing some information. Boy, I miss the deadline of payment!!! What a day... shocking.
Wow, "Godfather" is on. Ends at 1:20am? No way for me to make it all the way! Well, I confess that I have never seen any of those series, "The Godfather," completely! What a shame!
Yesterday's record: 0:15am thru 6:30am. What does this mean? Duration of sleep. Precisely, 6 hours and 15 minutes. Good enough? Maybe not.

Big holiday, huh! Time for barbecue... are you doing so with your friends and loved ones for today?! Good for you! Hope that weather will cooperate.
After such a big BINGE over this past weekend, big fatigue hits me all over... Definitely, I have lack the sleep since then. Yeah, I doze off on and on for entire afternoon! <BANG
Plus, I have suffered from pain in my neck since I didn't get the treatment at clinic for several days. I now first hand feel that it is quite effective that I get help at clinic. I sort underestimate it. I will make it tomorrow.
I should regain full strength soon... I go to bed NOW. Let me go.

Hello, folks. Day Two in Atagawa. Last night was truly endless. We put an end to the entire festivity around 4am. Yeah, lack of sleep this morning. We come to breakfast table at 8am.
Folks in car group one have to leave right after breakfast since they represent us to the funeral of some business-related executive. Rest of us, train-ride group and car group two - Tanabe (white vest in the middle) and Yagishita (white T-shirt in rear) for this group picture.
Last three shots: funny ones... six of us for train-ride become very dreadful childish!!!

Man, great time always make us feel so short time... This is, totally same. With such great friends, good talk and laugh over great meal and, most importantly, booze! Hehehe.

Big Friday here. It's BIG pay day. Yeah like I previously mentioned, it is for summer bonus. Good deal? Well, it is mediocrity for me. Yeah, I can say, (figure is) "within the range of my presumption." Hahaha.
However, the net gain is far from what I expect... Reason? I forgot some deal I make with work... Hence, the deduction becomes large. Anyway, this event really makes me rich? What do you think? I work like pig and do things for nothing! (do I make sense?) Hahaha. Kidding.
Afternoon meeting with prospective client is interesting. I kind space out at that meeting since something else (other business-related issue) really bothers me. Two of clients are kind driven crazy because my information isn't that relevant to their concerns. Later, I fix everything and they fully understand what phase we are at this point. Wow, almost gone too far! Hehehe. S--t happens!
Around half passed six, I leave work for clinic. Later than I want. Too bad that I don't come to complete full menu of treatment within the opening hour. By 8pm, hit the road to Yodobashi Camera for battery to replace current one to my digital camera. Part of preparation for tomorrow's Atagata outing.
Come home finally at late night. Then, begin the session of CD-R / DVD-R burning for ex-coworker Fukui whom I see tomorrow. I have to give him so much data on Mac... Up to last minute like this, my laziness hinders this burning session. My fault.
