April 30, 2006 = Management |
Studied this?! Ready for tomorrow?! Yeah, it is tomorrow!!! CTP - Competing Through People - the management class exam is tomorrow!!! Did you study of Cultural Acumen of 9 definitions? You should... so I heard from EVERYONE around.
Yeah, we saw this slide OVER and OVER.
Good leadership that we ought to know.
Nothing but study for CTP today. Oh yeah, studied a little bit of Finance too. That exam is scheduled on Wednesday. Almost there, huh! I know.
Wish me luck!
Oh, Jaina called me to correct yesterday's update. Apparently, she was right about the choice of questions. Hmmm, she read this stuff, huh! Yeah, I should be more careful that am now! So she knew what to be on exam... there is NO surprise that she aced the exam. If not.... oh, well.
Hehehe... I sound to be mean <BANG!

Professor's choice: 1, 2, and 4
Not much difference, huh? Of course, not! 75% of accuracy... Well, did I do well? I did OKAY. Fun? Nope. I spent entire two hours writing! Yeah, hand writing, of course! My arm is now so sore! Used a BLUE BOOK entirely for that. You know what I mean.
Okay, now one exam is gone! TWO to go. One on Monday - very early one from 7:30am! Yeah, 7:30AM! Last one is scheduled on Wednesday.
Tired. Am beat!

Exam preparation began at 10am in the Commons. Joined the discussion group, still same preparation, at 1pm till 3pm. Joined the review session with Professor Fong at 3pm till 4:30pm. Nap from 5pm till 6:30pm. Wow!
Studied hard? Still studying!
Good news here! Told y'all that I applied for the Foundation Week leader position last week or so. Yeah, got it! I am selected to be the cohort leader for coming Fall!!! Yeah, I will be assigned to lead the team of new students for the Foundation Week!
Paid position... very important, right?

April 27, 2006 = Last Day of Class |
Three classes came to an end today! Yep, it was the last day of class today! Yeah, only remaining thing is Final Exam! Too bad that there weren't many students coming to Data Analysis. I think we all should have been there with respect to professor even though many of us don't have to take optional final exam!
Well, classes are over! So I have to celebrate, right? <BANG!
So celebrating with great food - SUSHI!
First time for me to eat Japanese food since I got here in the US!!! (no kidding!)
And celebrating with...
TWO BEAUTIFUL classmates... Kristy (L) and Anna (R).
What a celebration for me! <BANG
It was first time to go out with those ladies... they were super nice and fun to be with! Too bad that they are leaving for Prague campus and I won't see them for a while... Well, keep in touch!
After such awesome dinner, made a stop at Tequila party... Yeah, I had to drink, too!!! Went on to Pub.... oh boy!

Yeah, it's OVER!

April 25, 2006 = BD No. 33 |
Yeah, it is my BD No. 33!!! So what?! <BANG
My BD started immediately after the day started. Yeah, practically... and literally. So many friends came in my room... yeah, SURPRISE! Then, the cake and champaign were ready for me just outside the room. Wow! Of course, there was a card from all friends for me.
Celebration was extended till the night. After class, friends talked about going out to dine with me and lots of friends, throughout such hard time of the trimester, made the dinner just for me!!!
We went to Cheesecake Factory as I requested!!! How nice, huh!
15 friends made the dinner!!! Thank you, guys!
Y'all are AWESOME!
Yeah, "fabulous" time for me and everyone else!
Yeah, now am in the photo!!! Thanks, Jorge (for taking picture).
Plus, thanks for ya'll who sent me BD messages! Thanks, darling sister Robyn and buddy Israel!!!
Kack, thanks for your call wishing me a happy birthday!!! So sweet!

April 24, 2006 = Day Before! |
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's day before my birthday... So what? Yeah, yeah, I'm almost 33 years old. So what? And it is exam day tomorrow. SO WHAT? <BANG
Normal Monday, right?! I guess so. I went to two classes as supposed to and attended the group meeting for final CTP assignment. It was actually over lunch. Then, stuck with reading required for the exam tomorrow. Went to review session of the exam with professor, too.
Oh dropped my shirt at nearby dry cleaner. I should pick it up sometime tomorrow.
Need to mail two envelops... One for paying some cost that I need to absorb and the other is for reimbursement. Yeah, latter is more important, right? <BANG
Oh, should tell y'all that I now come to an interview for the Foundation Week leader position. It's scheduled on Wednesday. I have to face three interviewers... WOW! I get intimidated by such surrounding!!! Really. What kind of questions?
Since my BD tomorrow, I got invitation for dinner with friends. Payal and Jaina... am sure that some other friends will join us very soon.
Somehow I got a toothache. Why? Lots of work and I must be really exhausted... too sensitive for now?! Don't know.
Oh, Roland and Malek... thank you both for posting to my discussion board. Hope more to come and leave some FUNNY comments! Yeah, I need to have "competitive advantage" over MTB right now! Hehehe.
MTB = My Thunderbird (school intranet)
Mother in Ogaki sent me a short message wishing me happy birthday. Wait! Too early! Oh, it's already April 25th over there. In a matter of fact, it's her birthday, too! Happy birthday, Mom!

April 23, 2006 = Study Sunday |
Hi, folks. As expected, it was boring day for me. Nothing but study. You know, someone very slow, like me, has to do more than others do... though, I am still not smart enough to reflect that to my study habit. My bad. Am I sure that I can graduate from this institution by December? Maybe not...
Anyway, got up around 9am. Yeah, went to bed very late around 3am. Late start. Went to the Commons and grabbed something to eat. Then started reading some cases. Took me a while and stayted there as long as I read. Like a few hours?! Now really makes me confortable to be there for study somehow. You know, I cannot study with someone for a long time (because I am slow learner and never catch up with others) and I cannot study in the IBIC, either. Cannot concentrate much in public place.
Plus, I need some stuff to study... Needless to mention about materials that I study with, dictionary (yeah "Dreamer's Dictionary"), iTune music, TV, Radio, some magazines, snacks... what else? <BANG
Oh finally... back! Now up and running is the discussion board. You can post your message, complaint, wish that I can write your name here, etc. <BANG!Back to my room around 3pm. Surfed the Internet for a while... and took a power nap for 30 minutes. Showed up to the IBIC. Yep, marketing project meeting. It is finalization phrase. Yeah about time! Due Thursday!!! From 5pm though 8pm we were packed in single room to deal with the project.
Dinner at Chinese restaurant. I think I overeat Chinese... should stop eating big meal! Am sure that I gained somewhat.
Back to my room... and started writing the CTP project draft. Didn't have much clue - I mean good idea. Though, finished it by 2am or so. Movie?! No way, didn't have time!
Who had such luxury time for movie!? Huh?
PS. It is not a requirement that you post at least two messages every week. <BANG!

April 22, 2006 = Movie |
Rajesh was waiting for team members on the project meeting outside the IBIC? What was he thinking? Read the discussion board! We met in the Commons! Hahaha.
Relaxing Saturday? I guess I can classify this day so... compared to tomorrow - the day expected with full of work to comply all academic events of the final class week.
At least two reading assignment / reading required for write-up were done! Yeah, took a nap too. Tuesday's IPE exam - Taiwan case must be somewhat difficult - again! Yeah, I just read the case which told lots of history of the country with economic growth. Well, was that interesting?! Probably not... much <BANG!
1st movie to see for a long time... when was the last movie which was rated the lowest in my history?! Hehehe. Anyway, today's movie was "The Sentinel." I had no idea of the word, sentinel. Let me look up...
sentinel <noun>
a soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch. Figurative something that appears to be standing guard or keeping watch.Okay, got it. How come not say "guard" or whatever easier for someone like me! Don't be sophisticated will you? Someone, like me, still contribute his bucks to see this movie without understanding the title of the movie! Make it simple like "Basic Instinct." <BANG!
Wait, I first saw that movie back in old time... in London, I didn't even understand the word "instinct" even though I lived my life only out of it.
Did I like that movie?! Sure, who can resist of the affair particularly with First Lady! <BANG. Just kidding. It was interesting movie... how a smart person can do against lots of people to accomplish his mission. Man, a little thing makes a big difference. You should see it as I recommend.
Woo, I may like Eva Longoria... (actress) in that movie. Who doesn't? Am sure that Malek (male) gets glued to the screen once she appears in the scene. <BANG!
Came back from the movie... it was almost 1am and I was out of mind... went on to the pub. Had several drinks there. My bad. Didn't think enough. I may have very late start tomorrow, which I shouldn't get to. I am quite reluctant to make that happen; it will happen.
Not drunk, though.
Without noticing... Thunderbird website has been reinnovated... Wow!
<Before>
<After>
Who are those people in that picture?!?! <BANG!

April 21, 2006 = Time to Shop Big? |
Final weekend with some (and still limited) free time is ahead... Yeah, following weekend is nothing but for Final Exams... that's why I am saying so. Lots to do for this weekend, still. Meeting after meeting. CTP and Marketing project is due up!
One accomplishment. Yeah, 675 dollars which had been put in the account for on-campus dinning this trimester are now all spent! From now on, I have to pay all out of my real pocket. Yeah, my AMEX is still acceptable.
Good stuff? I should've thought carefully about how much to spend to get myself fed so that 675 dollars can be better-spent than how I did.
Today, Finance make-up class took place from 11:20am through 12:50pm. Otherwise, there was no major (official) activity for me. Yeah, I did take a nap. I needed to.
Ate big salad plate for lunch and kind skipped supper. No much appetite.
Just saw one thing... from my favorite website. Yeah, this MIGHT be the next thing to buy!
What a horrible idea to think about buying something so big - I mean expensive. Currently I have no income whatsoever and all I do is attending classes and spending some (small amount of) money to keep myself alive!
Now am thinking to buy 500-dollar glasses AGAIN?! When was the last big purchase of such glasses?! Yeah, it was back in December last year?! Let me see... (flipping pages to see now...) Oh back in August...
not good enough? That means that I can buy another pair around this summer? <BANG Well under Arizona sunshine, the shade of current PACT glasses (shown above) isn't good enough... I should get something more decent... I mean more suitable to this condition.
Wait, that means I have to buy sunglasses instead of regular glasses?! Hmmm. I want both! <BANG!
Hmmm, what am I thinking about?! I have to dig some money from somewhere... Then from where?! The question remains unsolved. If you have any clue or offer your donation, please email me at your convenience!

April 20, 2006 = Regression Analysis |
Somehow I tend to eat more than I usually do. Must be from the stress! Yeah, I can tell. Need a break, right?! Yep, how in the world did I choose to take special class during the break?! I could've taken things easy for two weeks!
Darn it, I missed it. Was and still am darn serious!!!
Data Analysis assignment #6 is done! Yeah, regression analysis. It took WAY longer than do others for sure. I spent several hours with wrong figure from my own calculations. Darn it.
Marketing project meeting took place between 4:30pm and 8pm. Yeah, usual long meeting! We are about to finish the project and this is definitely great sign. Good stuff? I think so.
I found that several other students had already applied for the leader of Foundation Week. Yeah, as expected... no big surprise. How many positions then?! That's THE question, really. So far at this point, I still don't find any male applicant though. Good sign? Maybe... not!
Will see. I am supposed to get some notice for interview if the screening allows me to advance.
My plan for this weekend... It is actually LAST WEEKEND before the final exams. In other words, this is last weekend you can spend time freely. Well, here is the condition, "IF YOU HAVE ANY FREE TIME." <BANG!
Two projects, including Marketing one, are on-going and write-in exam is scheduled on Tuesday. Yeah, practically you don't (shouldn't) have much time to go shopping... go movies, etc. Yeah, it is unlikely to happen. Probably some dinner... some coffee break.

April 19, 2006 = Akash |
Happy Birthday, Akash!!!
Yeah, this man joined the club today! He turns to be thirty!!! Happy birthday, man! You look like so already... since the day I met on campus... now practically caught up with your look! Good for you! <BANG
People started asking me, "When is your birthday?!"
I have to say, "Oh, mine is coming in two years or so!" - good try, moron! Hahaha.

April 18, 2006 = Kamikaze |
No jet lug?! Not really. It must mean that I am STILL YOUNG! <BANG! Went to be around 2am last night and got up around 6:30am. Yeah, got run into Xerox office for color copy and binding the project due this morning!
About 60 pages or so to get printed and bound. Cost me around 35 bucks?! Oh boy! Since I was out of town, I didn't involve in the concluding the project much at all. I felt a little bad about it and that was why I volunteered to run to the office for printing.
Yeah, no problem to get up early. Wait, that means I am old?! Hmmm.
Well, Data Analysis project is done! Two more to go for this trimester. Currently on-going Marketing project and 2nd assignment of CTP. Yeah, almost the end!
Application is submitted. Yeah, school recruit the volunteer (?) for next Foundation Week which takes place around the end of August. Yeah, I think I like doing it and sent application today. Actually, sent the application after 4:30pm which was due. Oops. Maybe too late.
Well, how in the world do I think that I deserve such highly competitive position? What is my strength?! Nothing. I don't have anything outstanding to make myself stand out from the crowd... Sense of humor doesn't work here <BANG! Will see how LUCKY I can be. Yeah, it's a matter of luck now.
Two books for the special summer program called "Summerim" are ordered. Sure hope that they come soon and before the class starting May 8th. You know, Finance book never made from Amazon Marketplace and I am still waiting for the refund! In fact, I ordered the second book (still same!) and got that book quickly, though.

April 17, 2006 = Back to Reality |
Hello and am back to the reality. Good time in Florida?! Gotta be kidding! Had a hard time all day long today! Beyond your and my imagination. Never thought that coming to such hardship in this opportunity.
Did I do well? Forget it. It was a miserable failure... or disaster... or whatever you name!
Though, this is still part of my learning experience and mean to be happening. Good thing is that I came to this opportunity at early stage of MBA life here at T-bird. In other words, I am still lucky to have this bitter taste.
I make this as a driver that I make efforts to learn further. Fair enough? Yep, think so.
On the way back to Arizona, no direct flight for me. Made a stop over at Houston, TX. You know, cellular phone has automated adjustment to the local time. I was surprised with such feature.
In comparison, my Rolex - had to be manually corrected. Paid so much more than phone and doesn't work as much as phone?!
Wait, worse case here. My brain. Cannot manually adjust the time difference. <BANG!
Back to normal pace of MBA life for me from tomorrow on. Yeah, the hard time is over with bitter ending. Though, certainly necessary.

April 16, 2006 = Ft. Lauderdale |
Hi folks. Hello from Florida! Well, Fort Lauderdale, exactly. First time for me to be here. Yeah at client's cost, huh! How nice! Yeah, I stay in the Renaissance Hotel tonight! Pretty cool!
Well, there is no much laugh for me... Team from T-bird is here tonight to prepare for tomorrow. Big business cases are awaiting and we all have to do well!!! You know, everyone is desperate to get a job from client company upon doing good presentation!
Me?! Am not in hurry?! Nope. I have to contribute somewhat and still do my best! You know, what I mean.
Weather is great! Same hot climate with "familiar" humidity! Yeah, am so used to such weather... compare to dry weather in Arizona. You know, this is Southern state! Yeah, part of my home! However, they don't speak much Southern here... but SPANISH!
Hmmm, nice view from hotel room! Though, I have NO spare time to go out and see the coast line! Too bad. No time after business meeting? Nope, none! Too bad. This may be the last time for me to be in this area? Hope not.

Very spicy... just as I needed!

April 14, 2006 = Ty |
"Ty" stuffed animal... Yeah, "beanie babies."
Why I got them? Good question. For gal? I wish...
This is for someone's favor... Before departure from Japan, I was asked to get those. After some struggle with wholesaler, I got seven of those "babies." Sure I can dispatch the box of those seven babies to Japan!
Yeah, finally...

April 13, 2006 = Still Excelling? |
Yeah, tell me about it! I am still "excelling!" <BANG
How much longer?! I don't know. Seems there is no end. I am sure that there is one for anybody. I just don't feel like so. I know, this is very tiring and time-consuming project... though, I feel like I somehow I enjoy myself dealing with such many data.
I must like data-mining!
Net Present Value
At the end of the project, everyone should get some graph like this to see the outcome of the simulation to determine the business decision. Yeah, interesting.
Only thing that really bothers me of the time... given time was (and still is!) limited and I don't have much space to enjoy fully about the project. You know what I mean?
Today, it was Ethics Day! Yeah, am the member of the Honor Council and I surely did attend the luncheon and the keynote speech of the event. I was dead tired and surely fell to a sleep in the middle of speech. My bad.
The Oath of Honor is handed to the school's president. From Abhijeet (left in the picture)?! Hehehe.

April 12, 2006 = Excel + @RISK = TORTURE |
Excel... MBA is a school for training the Excel application?! I cannot deny and disagree! This torture still remains around and I faced to the computer screen... all day long and still am!
Yeah, Excel and micro function application called @RISK are running on my computer all the times. What about Mac?! PowerBook? I don't have time for my "primary" machine. Have to stick with the other computer for school work (yeah, gold "Espon" laptop).
You also see that I am NO LONGER punctual updating this website for you. Well, so you can tell how hard I am working, right?
Well, to be honest with you, you never know how hard I play around... right? BANG
Sleepless - that's the only issue right now and I cannot wait that this project is over! I know at some point in future (hopefully very near future) I come to the relief of the pain from the project... Am sure that next pain awaits out there, thought!

April 11, 2006 = One Last Thing to Go? |
Obviously, everyone is exhausted. Almost everyone in class looked like zombie! Wait you too look like one? Well, you were born just like that, huh? <BANG
So here is the end of tough week?! Not quite, folks! Still torture is on-going. Yeah, PAID torture. You know, we paid big bucks to put ourselves in torture. Yeah, we like pains!!! Hehehe.
That means, school gets paid to give pains to students?! So do professors?! Oh boy! Hehehe.
One thing to go. Big one, still though. Data Analysis project. Yeah, simulation project. Excel and @Risk Decision Tool software to use for the project. I team up with Payal... and we really didn't do much until now. My fault. Not hers. Therefore, I promise that I bring full efforts out of myself to make that happen! Yeah, meet the deadline!
I like simulation in a matter of fact. Just being lazy for a while.
Last night, went to bed around 3am and this morning got up around 7am. At this point, am expecting something similar to happen tonight. Maybe an endless night...

April 10, 2006 = Test and Still Assignment? |
No class for today; this made the weekend a bit longer?! Made me happier?!
Only the thing for today was a big exam for Finance class. Made me unhappy. You know, am really bad at test taking. Always forgot what to do with test under pressure. Most notably, am shy to ladies... (particularly and only cute ones) and to exam! <BANG
Exam took place from 6:30pm till 8:30pm.
Yes, answered all questions within the time allowed. Doesn't mean anything, though. I know what I did wrong already! Well, let's think this way... the exam is the opportunity for me to study the subject.
Wait a minute. That means, I make bad grades and study?! Somewhat bad cynical, huh? Wait, are you talking about me?! <BANG
All right, Data Analysis assignment 5 is due tomorrow! Got to go and get it done before my beauty sleep!

April 9, 2006 = Study? Fun? |
No other option but study! <BANG!
How come I play golf then!!!Very early started today! Got up 10 till 7! Yeah, had some drinks last night at the pub and wrote up my part of project paper for the management class and went to bed around 1am. Or maybe 2am. It was short sleep then!
No choice. I had to participate the breakfast session with prospective student. Hahaha, no so many of them showed up around 7am. Mostly current students! Well, that breakfast was not of big meal or anything. Rather it was right for me.
Then, those "guests" went on the class session. Marketing case study. I didn't sign up for that period and I was supposed to be free to go. Though, somehow... somehow, I sat down in that class room and audited the class entirely. Yeah, spent one hour and half there.
Waste of my time?! Never so! Rather, it was educational for me. The case covered was of Singapore Airlines. It was surely interesting (even though I didn't read prerequisite material).
Almost late... to MY class. What class? Golf, man! Still need to fix my swing plane. Instructor kept telling me that I should go and play in the real course. I know! Would you like to join me and cover the cost?! <BANG
In picture, am still wearing the Thunderbird Campus Ambassador shirt. Hehehe. Didn't have time to change!
Wait, when am I talking about?! This was all about Saturday! Yeah, all until Regional Night! <BANG!
Let me get out of here NOW!
Then what did I do today?! Study! Any comment?! <BANG

April 7, 2006 =DA Exam Finished / Hospitality Weekend |
Yeah, the hunch was right... as always, you know! It was NOT my day! Surely did wake up around 6am however I went to bed around 3am... Ate breakfast and got ready for the exam...
From 9:30am till 12:30pm, I spent my time fully for exam... Tough?! Well, it was a long exam. Fun? Yeah, I had no clue... you can call it fun! Hehehe.
Standard Deviation? I prefer "Standard Articles."
Degree of Freedom? I like to have a "Master's Degree" in business administration.and lastly, Simulation? I need "Stimulation (for my life)." Hehehe.
Well, I cannot complain more to myself... The test is over! I cannot fix anything... unless I go to Professor Hosseini's sushi bar (he keeps using such term in class).
In the afternoon, attended the review session of Finance class... since the mid-term is scheduled on Monday. Yeah, big time, huh. Then, Rajesh came over to my room to give me a harassment! Just kidding. We had to discuss about the writing for the project which was also on Monday.
Quickly changed and showed up to the Hospitality Weekend. Yeah, fun event for the day! Met so many interesting people from all over the world! Great stuff... Being the Student Ambassador is really cool and I like it!
Hospitality Weekend: yeah, future T-birds were here this weekend.
Sure, I ended up in the pub tonight... Wow, I hadn't been there for a while.
Jonathan (in black shirt)... since when you became photogenic?! Hahaha.
It was first time for me to observe that Jorge plays the pool.
Now, I have to compose a page of project... after several drinks? Yeah, had Corona, a glass of red wine, and Sapporo which Natasha bought me at the pub... Yeah, my eyes turned red like a rabbit now... and still able to write stuff for the work?
Sure I can. The point is that I have no idea what I write about. <BANG!

April 6, 2006 =Celebration? |
Today, we celebrated the 60th anniversary for Thunderbird!
Am I part of the event?! Did I sit next to Governor of Arizona? Mayor of Glendale? Well, you know what?! They may have. Though, I was busy... to prepare myself for tomorrow's Data Analysis exam and other stuff, I missed the ceremony which took place tonight.
Surely, Governor or Mayor may call me for appointment anytime! <BANG
Marketing class was dedicated for group project; there was no class. So we had higher "degree of freedom?" (i.e. term from Data Analysis) --- Well, unfortunately not. No Marketing... but management class, Competing Through People kicked in to the dead hour between 1pm till 2:30pm.
Funny thing... I was somehow very energetic and raised my hand and spoke to the class more than three times in that single session. Usually, that class is to give everyone an opportunity to bring his/her input... Somehow today, it was my day! Hehehe.
Even professor made a remark that I did a superb job for the class. Wow, that will not occur for next 50 years! <BANG
You know, am not math person at all... Since being the sales for almost entire career of mine, I am more like people person. Hence, it was so natural for me to see the different management style, organization framework, and different goal settings.
Yeah, it was my day... at least in that class... Wait. That means my turn is over and tomorrow ain't my day?!?! Hey, I got a big exam to take tomorrow!

April 5, 2006 =Wow! |
Good surprise? Bad surprise?! According to the data under this particular domain, there were MORE English readers than Japanese readers visited and read my stuff yesterday alone! In fact, more than 100 English readers! I believe... am pretty sure that it was the first time EVER happened. Thank you!
Now you mean that I really have to write everyday, punctually, to satisfy you, right? <BANG
Malek... and Rajesh, DO NOT EVEN THINK about reloading this page over and over! <BANG
Long day?! It made me feel the opposite. Many things happening at a time on single day and I didn't have much luxury to breathe. Notably, I am STILL QUITE BEHIND. Man, this makes me worried. Now it is my serious concern whether I can graduate in December.
Went bed around 2am previous night and got up around 7am. Yeah, 5 hours of sleep aren't that bad and least sustainable for me to last a day. Not 4 hours or less, though. (I know ME!)
Two classes were done.... corrected professor for right pronunciation of my name. If you call me with wrong pronunciation, it is definitely tacky, okay!
At night, attended the review session for Data Analysis. 2 hours... Yeah, no open time for me today. No nap to take, either! <BANG
Oh, good surprise. Great surprise. Apple introduces "Boot Camp" and now you can boot up both Windows XP and MacOS X on single machine, only on Intel-inside Apple machine. Before this, you had to take advantage of Virtual PC to run Windows on Mac... though, it was slow - because still under simulation... I have such environment... though, not that great, unfortunately.
Next major system release is expected to come along with such feature, too. Wow, that's good for me! Better than good, GREAT!
That means, I definitely buy new PowerBook within a year?! I sure hope so! Where is that money coming from? Wow, that's THE question.
Finance book is here. Man, took me forever to get this one. Ordered back on March 20th! Boy.
Tomorrow, I will get another 100 hits on this page?! It is unlikely... I guess. Let's see.

April 4, 2006 =No More Steel |
Okay, aluminum or steel whatever... is over! What's next?! Data Analysis exam, Finance exam, Data Analysis assignment #5, CTP project, Data Analysis project... okay, let's NOT name them. Stop it!!!
Yeah, as mentioned earlier, this is very hectic weekend and it just began. Lots to come and yeah, very depressing.
My sore throat still exists and I keep coughing. Painful! I am sicked and tired of this! (plus, am kind sick then)
Only one month to go to finish this trimester... Yeah, time really flies... For that, I still have to go another two trimesters to finish it all! (i.e. graduating from T-bird) I cannot imagine that far yet.
Nothing else to talk about today... I guess.
Oh, CTP project is something we have to redo... Sunday's meeting was in vain... We started from wrong standing point. Monday class did clear it up and it is necessary to have another meeting to talk about it from the SCRATCH!
No more lingerie (i.e. Victoria's Secret) or hot pants (Hooters). <BANG!
April 6, T-bird is coming to 60th birthday?! Wow!
Hey, I almost come to my birthday on 25th, too! Don't ask me how old to be, moron!!!Oh you too come to your another birthday within a year? <BANG
On that T-bird birthday, what to happen?! EXAM! Great, huh! How sad... how nice?! Sounds like MBA school doesn't it? There is no doubt that there will be a huge celebration taking place on campus and even the Governor of Arizona comes as the keynote speaker. Am I part of the celebration? I will be if I come out in the good mood from the morning exam!
Before then, tons of study required... surely and I have to make FULL efforts to come in a good shape.

April 3, 2006 =Devastating |
The worst week is just begun... now I face the Steel case exam. Not Steelcase as an expensive chair maker, dummy! It is about US steel industry. Have you finished reading it? Me? Just done the 2nd time reading. Clear enough?! (sounds like CTP professor) Well, not quite. Got the entire story, though.
Yes, as usual I will be in the Starbucks around 7:30am - tomorrow morning for the case discussion with friends.
This morning, I went up to breakfast around 9am... even though I got up around 7:30am. Saw Ahil, Malek, and Julia were eating together. Well, interesting combination of three. In fact, I usually don't see those BOYS (i.e. Ahil and Malek) at the breakfast. What happened to them?
Two classes. One class for money as per Malek <BANG and the other was for calculator.
You know what? I am extremely exhausted and am not quite sure that I am ready for this tough week! I hope I can last... Still coughing quite bit and sore throat is killing me! Who passed this on to me? (presumably, Abhishek...)
There is a huge event taking place on campus today and tomorrow. Some kind of financial conference... Don't I know all about it? Nope. I am not even eligible for any information since I have been broke not being able to pay 50 bucks or so for participation. Hence, there were so many boys and girls in such nice dress! Hahaha, just kidding. Everyone looked very professional. Plus, lots of people had to miss classes because the event was the first priority.
I kind see some unbalancing things here... am I only one for doing that?
According to those who were in the Conference, this event provided them with so many opportunities from learning to networking. Man, I may have missed a big stuff due to not having money? What a shame...
Wait... I don't even know how to manage 50 dollars... do I get idea about the finance? Probably not <BANG! Okay, got it.
I gave Grace an instant massage... at least I made someone pleased! <BANG

April 2, 2006 =Breakfast |
Early morning for me... though with certain kind of intension. Wanted to have GOOD breakfast. Before starting the Data Analysis project which is due 14th of the month, made a short trip to a restaurant. Yeah, one of my favorite places, Cracker Barrel (Old Country Store).
Ate French toasts and two eggs... and sausage. Coffee not orange juice this time.
Of course, I sat in the rocking chair outside while waiting for my call for available seats!
Unfortunately? Ran out of all energies?! Compared to yesterday, it is true that it was not as productive. Not only for that project but also for all other things to do in general. Yeah, my fault.
Supposed to do laundry... postponed it to tomorrow. Rajesh asked me to play ping-pong again - the third time and I didn't turn him down three times in a row. He was good... and for me, it was first time to play it for a very long time.
Wow, forgot to mention that Kyoko Fukami had resigned from her position at UPS-SCS Japan. Well, good luck! I have no further information at this point.
Coming week is going to be very tough for sure. Exams, project dues, what else. I believe that this week is the toughest one of all in this entire trimester. Probably worse than the final exam period.
CTP project meeting took place from 3:30pm for the first time. Who named "Victoria's Secret" and "Hooters?" Wait. What is it all about then? <BANG
Gee, that project is due on next Monday (not tomorrow). Gee, too short time to even think about it.
Then, read STEEL? (for IPE) This exam is on Tuesday... Very long story... and I have no idea of what's going on in it. So far I read about the half of the case. You know, the Banana was perfect resource to put me in a sleep... and so is Steel. So is the class itself? <BANG
Well, at least I can see things better in the Steel case at this point. Will see how I can handle this hereon.

April 1, 2006 =New Month |
New month... new feeling? Not so fast, folks! Yeah, this weekend looks very crowded and I am definitely swamped for everything. Too much to do...
Got up around 9am... hit the shower and got dressed. Walked to IBIC and rushed into one of Study Rooms. Made a promise with Sujana to help her for career search. Yeah, kind a brain storm session for her... like I previously did the same for Payal, Jaina, and Rajesh.
Who's next?! <BANG
Hey, am not like a doctor... and still there is a question remaining... How come people do believe and ask me for such help... do people think that I can consult others for career advance?! Good question, isn't it? Hehehe.
Anyway, spent two hours with her for that. Outcome?! Well, she still needs some time to settle things to move on... so I thought.
It was interesting discussion in there... Should school or school brand leverage you to accelerate your career?! What would you think? For me, nothing can... even I cannot. I will get lost when graduating from T-bird?! Hmmm. That's THE question.
All afternoon, I spent my time with my Data Analysis project partner. Yeah, Payal helped me quite bit to understand the project itself. Before coming to see her, I was quite hopeless. Now I at least can see the light of hope to solve the problem...
I have been suffering from sore throat. Not getting worse or better... just steady and got stuck with me! Man, I need to get rid of it... I still time to time cough.
Golf lesson was cancelled. Sorry, Doug!
